Delicate fingers clawed at the rockface, scrambling for a handhold. There was a grunt, the fingers gripping onto the nook, flexing as they pulled the auburn head over the top of it. The body would soon follow, one of a youthful female.

"Couldn't have picked an easier spot to get too, could you?"

She crested the top, dusting off her jeans. Green hues scanned the small outcropping, searching for signs of the others; noting the area of the meeting. Atop the mountain sat a clearing, high stone encircling the top. The only path inside was either by air, or the way she had just come. A table sat, carved from the same rock the mountain was, in the center of the clearing. Her fingers ran across the rough surface, her gaze shifting to the ground beneath. No footprints, aside from hers, disturbed the ground. She was alone now, but for how long?

She hopped, sitting upon the surface, crossing one leg over the other, letting a whisper escape her pink lips.

"Cu Sith"

It was with a heavy sigh, she withdrew the piece of parchment from the pocket. Unfolding the crumpled edges, her eyes scanned the message again for the fourth time since she had started the journey here.

To Sophia Everett,
Your presence is requested at the apex of Granite Mountain on the second day of the third month.

That was all the message said, though at the bottom it bore the italicized signature unique to their sect. The parchment crumpled in her tiny had before being shoved back into the small pocket. Her gaze shifted, turning upwards, staring at the storm raging in the distance. "How fitting.." She found herself saying. Her feet left deeper imprints in the ground as she found her feet, moving closer to the edge of the rock face, crossing her arms in front of her chest. "Cerebus, Barghest, Orthrus. How long since we have traveled together?"

Her voice was lost in the boom of thunder, lightning illuminating her face, and the one that was suddenly standing behind her.

"Who let you out?" Her voice came without turning to look over her shoulder at the figure.

"By your command." His own voice was muted, as if he was talking through something covering his mouth. "I have a message." He spoke again, turning his head to look at her as the clouds unleashed their fury upon them. The rain covered the two of them for only the briefest of moments, before a small dome surrounded them, keeping the water away from them.

"Yes?" She asked, suddenly very impatient, looking very bored.

He didn't seem to miss a beat "The others send their regards, but they will not be meeting us here. Laelaps extends his regards and wishes to meet up at another time. He says he is currently engaged in locating something of value." A pause, the sounds of the storm beating upon their ears. "He says that one is close by, should you wish to investigate it."

Lashes fell shut, fluttering for a second as decisions and plans formed in her mind. "Where?"

"Heaven's Garden."
