Notice: The cities pointed on the map, with their information to be found in the table below, are major cities. Users are free to make up any number of smaller or less sophisticated villages which they can populate or control or destroy for their own dramatic means, but major cities are well fortified and heavily populated. Your single character or ragtag trio won't be able to do much damage to a major city.
It is also important to note that settings with specific settings (lol) are immune to player intervention. That is, if you go to the Forgotten Wood, plan to only stay there for a while because there's no spell out there that grants you immunity. If you go into the Dark Forest, there's no magical torch that just pierces the dark.
