      Writing Prompt

      Kickstart your creativity and boot your writer's block out the door with a writing prompt. A writing prompt is basically a topic around which you jot down your thoughts and ideas. What you produce doesn't necessarily have to make sense, the goal is just to get you to write. Oft times, inspiration can be found in these blurbs that you have written. Choose one of the following writing prompts and, using your blog, see what you can come up with.
      • A blanket of fresh snow covered the ground now.
      • The diner, much like the rest of the small town, was abandoned.
      • "Shh, did you hear that?"
      Writing Tips

      Quantity does not necessarily equivocate quality. However, if you focus on quality, then quantity naturally falls into place. If you're struggling with what to write, perhaps you should look to answer the most common questions that your readers will be asking as they read.

      Kipling said it best when he wrote:

      I keep six honest serving-men
      (They taught me all I knew);
      Their names are What and Why and When
      And How and Where and Who.

      Keep these questions in mind when you're working on your post. Answer them and you'll not only increase the length of your post, but the quality will vastly improve, as well.
