Calendar:
Isélyr recognizes a calendar of twelve cycles based on the twin moons that orbit the planet. (It is speculated by outsiders that one of these moons is, in fact, a Terran satellite, however, Terran authorities refuse to comment.) Once every twelve cycles, known as Ascension, both Argyros, the silver moon and Arjana, the golden moon are visible in the skies. This occurrence marks the end of The Gathering and the beginning of The Calm. The names of the twelve cycles (And their Gregorian counterparts) are listed:

Legodan - February
Nalleme -March
Norovir - April
Taleth - May
Elervir - June
Rinana - July
Faelwen - August
Ventôriel - September

Each lunar cycle is comprised of 28 days with the exception of Elervir and Tanna, both of which are comprised of 30 days. Between The Gathering and The Calm, an additional seven days are added. This is the time known as The Ascension.
