Le'Chery:

Once the mighty kingdom of Gorand, Le'Chery is all that remains of the vast empire. Now, she is a trading village located in the central most region of Isélyr. Many adventurers gather here to replenish their supplies and provisions before heading out on their adventures. Most tavern keepers and shop owners are human, though there are several elven, dwarven and goblin merchants, as well.
To the north, one will find their way to the Nyssian Mountains. Some may travel south to the Athirat Desert. To the west, can be found the forests of E'kraun and further still, the Bay of Chemosh. Should a traveler choose to travel east, the bustling port city of Hymir will await them. Across the sea, a bold adventurer can find the Isle of Iblis-Shaitan, or so say the legends, for no sane traveler has ever returned from the haunted isle.
Ruling over the growing village of Le'Chery is Lord Arimir Falscheim. His sexual appetite for females and ill luck at the gambling tables is renown. Lord Falscheim is known to enact his "Noble" rights on the eve of a couple's wedding, claiming the bride's maidenhead for himself then returning the deflowered bride to her groom the following morning. It is for this reason that the villagers no longer have public matrimonial rites, but instead, hold the ceremonies in privacy.
The Harlot's Flask:
A tavern found in the backstreets of Le'Chery, the Harlot's Flask is a two-story brick and timber building with a heather thatched roof. Accommodations consist of several large rooms with beds and woolen mattresses. If you're feeling rather lucky, and you own a few pretty coppers, you can take a chance on fate and double the size of your wallet. For those lonely souls, a warm body for the night may be found here as well, for a price of course.
Adventurers who wish to make a bit of coin can check the bulletin for Help Wanted signs.
Human NPC -- Ganlo -- The owner of The Harlot's Flask. Patrons who wish for lodging should speak with him to procure a room.
Human NPC -- Ritha -- A barmaid who serves the food and drink at The Harlot's Flask. Patrons who wish to procure a "warm body" for the evening should speak with her after making arrangements with Ganlo for a room.

Extremely cautious, if this dwarf feels threatened, he will immediately close shop and transport the entire building; body, coin and all, to another dimension until he feels safe enough to return. At times, this has caused adventurers to become rather irate with him. He just shrugs it off, though, since he has never lost even a copper penny to thieves.
Regional Fauna:
Various insects and animals indigenous to this area include common ants, grasshoppers, beetles, bumble bees, hawks, butterflies, rabbits, bobcats, donkeys, wolves, owls, goats, horses, bears and other such creatures.
While there are giant species of these animals, encounters with them are few and far between.
Regional Flora:
Le'Chery is centered in the grasslands of Isélyr. The semi-arid, windy environment has very hot summers and extremely cold winters. Very few shrubs and trees grow here. Crops of wheat, barley, and corn are harvested as well as legumes and root vegetables.
Le'Chery is the only area where the Purple Haze Weed is grown and harvested. Smoked in pipes, the Purple Haze Weed offers its user the feeling of bliss, joy, and general happiness. It is for this reason that the Purple Haze Weed is highly sought after, bringing an increase in wealth to Le'Chery.
