• Order of the New Dawn

    These paladins stand for good, righteousness, and freedom. They can be called on to seek out and fight injustice and evil anywhere in Isélyr.


    Golden Order – The highest rank in the Order of the New Dawn, members of the Golden Order must be at least thirty five years of age, have shown remarkable dedication to the Seven, be of noble blood, and have two sponsors, one of which must be of noble birth and the other must be an active member of the Golden Order.

    Soldiers of Dawn – Younger members of the Order of the New Dawn join the ranks of Soldiers of Dawn. Most knights of the Soldiers of Dawn are of noble blood, though many are not. In order to be accepted into the Order, the prospective paladin must attain a vote from an active member of the Golden Order.

    Base of Operations: The Order’s main headquarters is located in Jasper Ridge, though Chapters are found in various cities of Isélyr. It is here where the paladins are taught military tactics and history.

    Chapters: The presence of the Order extends throughout much of Isélyr in the form of Chapters that are located in some of the major cities. Each Chapter is governed by an active member of the Golden Order. There are no fewer than forty members of the Soldiers of Dawn within each city at any given time.

    Oath:
    1. In service, be just and upright.
    2. Be always compassionate, generous, polite, and meek. Seek not glory for thyself.
    3. By tongue and deed, speak only truth.
    4. Be always courageous and falter not from thy enemies.
    5. Be a protector of the helpless and a sword arm for the weak.
    6. Uphold always the just law of the land.
    7. In thought and action, remain wholesome.
    8. Be diligent and productive.
    9. Respect your equals, be they comrade or adversary.
    10. Shed no innocent blood nor allow innocent blood to be shed.
    11. Death before dishonor.
    12. Know thou art answerable to the Seven and the True Crown.
    13. Hold the Laws of the Gods above the Laws of Man.
