Hey there chiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiildren, this is Three do-

This is Julius Aldoid, bringing as the Professor might say "Good News, Everyone!"
[editors note: you are now reading this post in the voice of the professor from Futurama]

We have much to discuss, because there is much going on.

I know some of you have looked at Artifacture and wondered "what exactly is it to work for the craziest magician on Valucre?" or perhaps it was just "what the hell is going on there?"

Well, I am glad to announce that I am quite joyfully working on a new questing system for Artifacture. Yes, you may get the opportunity to work for Artifacture's very own Office of Inquisition, serving as an inquisitor, stomping out corruption, abominations, and spies within the offices of Artifacture and the wondrous metaverse of the Well!

I will be rolling out the system in parts. I says system because it is very much that: A diceless system for roleplay, much like any tabletop game you might play with fellow roleplayers at your friendly local game store, or over pizza and soda at a buddies house!

The first part looks into What are automata, and what is it like to grow up as one. Roughly speaking, Automata are an artificial race; a highly advanced simulacrum of the human race, very secretly created by Julius Aldoid himself, tasked with helping him to guard the Well- A never-ending fractal of a hallway by which other universes may be accessed. It is a bit more advanced technologically the the rest of Valucre, mainly because it operates just outside of it.

An Automata has there benefits and defects, particularly when interacting outside the Well. That is partly why I am running this:

A. It will allow people to really soak up how different and diverse the setting is compared to the rest of the forum

B. It allows me to standardize alot of the fluff, and still allow people to join Artifacture.

Once I got more stuff down, I will be likely posting it on the Artifacture Unltd. Section of the board, which is quite quietly hidden in Blaurg in Terrenus. Who know, might catch on.

So yes, stay tuned to the Aldoid blog to learn more!
