Name: Dictum Veritas

Purpose: Dictum Veritas's purpose is to rid the world of the pestilence that is corruption. Although evil must exist to act as a garnish for good, the current level of malificence that plagues the world is not necessary. With that belief to guide them, and the idea that together they can make a difference and reshape the world, the group seeks to end corruption where and when they can. But instead of allowing age-old principles of goodness and virtue to restrict them, they pursue their goal with a cold, calculating efficiency. Although rational thinking is supported more than blind, reckless idealism, they will never compromise themselves and their goal. The members, instead of being led about like puppets on a string, are urged to think independently and challenge all ideas skeptically. The group's goal, more than simply toppling systems that proves detrimental to an undeserving population's well-being, is to spur a new generation of free-thinkers and heroes alike.

Background: Dictum Veritas began as an underground organization formed by Apidej and a handful of men and women who decided to stand together against corruption and evil. It grew explosively as stories of their success traveled across the land. Men and women from all walks of life joins, to find like-minded individuals whose sense of unyielding justice prevents them from bending in the face of evil.
