Angry Touch of the Past. [Close]

Finger tips of stone traveled pass the loose fabric of cotton, meaty flesh and broke bone. The blood that spilled from the wound coated over the inches of the foreign invaders and trailed along its hard surface dripping it warm thick crimson substance to the solid surface of the concrete ground that held the two forms weight with ease. Fluttering hazel eyes found its way to the weapon that was use to puncture its hosted body.

    "Y-you really.... a-are-"

Swallows the mass of blood that seems to pool in the mouth from internal injuries.

    "a demon.."

A strain it was to talk, as the man was finding that standing was harder. The solid stone was yanked from the chest, where blood immediately flowed to the wound attempting to save the body by clogging it up. The spill was loud enough for the owner of the demonic glowing emerald eyes, that shown brightly within not only the darkness of the night but the heavy shadow casted by the hood, to hear. The man struggled to keep standing as if he wanted to continue, the moment his major support, ironic enough which was what wounded him, was removed he took a few stumbles forward, but found his hands on his knees and was still able to keep level.

Teri'us yet again a victor of a bout watched the loser as if ready for his next attack. One foot was placed behind the other allowing the dim light of the alley way to pass off his form and the shadows to embrace him. Soon the only thing of him visible were those damned eyes.. Those damned glowing green eyes. The man who tried to pull himself to a reasonable stand found himself trapped within those very eyes nothing he could do would pull his dimming hazels away from them. A cough brought up a reasonable amount of blood to assume death was imminent though the man tried to hide it with his open palm, the ooze between shaking digits gave him away.

The man removed his hand from his mouth and threw the blood to ground with a flick of his wrist and balled his stained fingers into a fist raising both hands to eye level in a weak fighting stands. His body bounced with each breath, he was breathing hard enough to where each exhale pushed against his teeth and made a hissing wheeze. Vision began to blur.. The green in the darkness was getting harder to see... His upper body was heavy.. He started to sway..

    "Rest now..."

There was moment of pause as the man considered the words that echoed in his head and blurred vision flashed a sudden black of brief unconsciousness before returning.

    "Yeah... Okay..."

Was that a hint of compassion or was it just the knowledge of the battle being over? The man's final words seemed so easy then he became weightless his fist dropped to his side and dangled, his body pushed to the tips of his toes and forward he went. The green had faded from view, the colors had all turned black and the solid concrete greeted open face.. THUMP! with a hint of CRUNCH! Surely the nose had broken when it touched the earth. Teri'us shielded his eyes and turned on his heels allowing his true eyes to close and his fake ones to open. A humanly brilliant green with a soft hint of hazel around the inside scanned the exit of the alleyway for witnesses. He shook off the residue energy of stone from his finger tips, it crumbled and fell to the earth like ash and he placed both hands into his cargo pockets.

This was a normal thing... This was just life and the cycle of it's end..

A sharp scent of blood suddenly touched the elf's nostrils as he walked past a certain alley in the city. His sight turned towards the source of the scent, an alley. Velindrel's sharp eyes narrowed as he used his Eye of the Sight power to scan down the passage. The source of the blood came from a dying man, a man that Velindrel knew. The city that they were currently in was Elven-folk territory. Whoever had killed that Elf, had made a huge mistake. The dead fellow was a member of Velindrel's clan proper. Turning to look at a man that had supernatural, glowing green eyes, the Elf frowned. He turned his full attention on the man, parting company with his group to address the possible serial killer. Cracking his knuckles, Velindrel walked towards the stranger. Strangers were bad news, and this one had just committed a crime in Elven society. The punishment would be harsh. Velindrel extended his arm in an attempt to place his alchemy-hand upon the man's chest.

"Where do you think you're going?" Velindrel asked. Seriousness in his voice. "Is that corpse back there, your doing?" Velindrel was hoping that the man was honest about the crime. That way, dispensing his punishment wouldn't be as bad on the grieving Elf.

As Teri'us came to the entrance of the alleyway his eyes shifted from one angle to the next searching the streets; for the most part it would have seemed no one was the wiser of the action that he had just committed. Good. He took that opportunity to attempt to relocate as far away from the scene as possible, but just as he went to step off someone caught his attention. One of the Elven's must have picked up on it before he was completely in the clear and was now coming at him.

Teri'us like his personal space and wouldn't allow this man to place his hand on him. By putting one foot behind the other he took a step back narrowing his eyes from the shadow of the hood he wore.

"It would be a wise idea for you just to back off and forget what you saw."

Was that a threat? It almost seemed as such, but the man still held his hands in his pocket and had moved backwards yet again toward the alleyway allow its shadows to cast around him making it harder to see his actual face.

    Let us bleed together.
