A deep breath was all it took and focus was once again in her grasp. Long, dark lashes fluttered downward, pointedly at the bracelet around her wrist; it was, perhaps, the most thoughtful expression they'd ever seen grace her stoic visage. It was almost time.

Delicate fingertips rummaged through the worn, beaten pack at her side, without a set purpose in mind. Various vials of different colors were softly set in her lap, followed with a handful of daggers and miniscule objects that'd be of no importance to those ignorant of their meaning. Two bands were placed on either thigh, with two daggers attached to each-- and another two bands on her forearms.

She put a clear, albeit yellowish liquid on the blade of two daggers, rather carefully with her gloved hand. Without putting them away just yet, she began to rise, plucking them from the side as she walked toward the other female leaning against the banister of the craft. "I am terribly sorry I did not introduce myself earlier. This.." She waved her left hand, the one not holding the weapons, toward the other individuals present, signifying their 'team'. ".. is all new to me. I've never been part of a group effort, before. My name is Vexita, but those that do know me just call me Vex." She offered the woman a faint smile before producing the dagger, handle first, toward her. "Just incase you happen to get in a tight spot. There's a toxin on the end, so be careful not to poke yourself, otherwise you might go numb.. and before you know it you'll be down for the count." She squished her face with another grin. It was her first attempt at any conversation, other than Apidej and especially with another of the female variety.

Catch? She turned toward him and leaned against the side of the ship staring intently into his eyes. He was no regular man. Normal men did not possess the passion that he did. “Water and lightening?” She was a bit confused, and when it came to details, Addie was down right anal about the smallest of them.

Meticulous in her work she was, one might call her a perfectionist, while others would simply dismiss her obsessions as OCD. None the less, failing was not an option, and with the line up that Apidej had backing him up here, failure was not given a second thought.

“If you give me all the information I need, I assure you that not only will they be caged, they will not have time to send for reinforcements simply because they will never know that I was even there.” The corner of her mouth perked ever so slightly. Perhaps she came off a bit too cocky, but if anyone knew of her track record, it was he.

For a fleeting moment her eyes softened, as if she had something she wished to say to him. Odd really, Addie simply wasn't a girlie girl, or even soft for that matter. She based almost everything she did off facts. And bluntly put, emotions showed weakness, and weaknesses gave your opponent an upper hand. Wisely enough she always felt, those who are your friends today, could very well be your enemies tomorrow, and for this reason her personal life, her feelings were simply thathers.

Before she spoke another word, the pair was joined by the woman Apidej was speaking to just prior of Addie. Canting her head ever so slightly she listened as the woman spoke. Awkward girl moment in her opinion as it seemed neither woman ever worked as a group before.

With a nod she took the blade the woman now knows as Vex offered. It was a beautiful blade really. Such an intimate death it would offer. The closeness of the kill. Careful eyes peered across it, and with a fancy twirl, she buried it between her boot and sock. “Thank you Vex, it is a pleasure. You can call me Addie.” She smiled a grateful smile and turned her attention back to their leader.

“Tell me more of the enemy I will face, and the amount of time allotted for me to be successful.” Her mind was like pages and pages of information. She didn't need to write down a thing to remember it.

Apidej pointed into the distance. Slowly, but surely, curling threads of smoke rose out of the waters to snake sinuously through the air before dissipating entirely. Following the path that the smoke originated from, his finger landed on a spot that flashed silver whenever the sun's rays struck it. Metal. There was something, or someone, out there.

"My avenues of information are limited. All I know is your opponent's specialized elements and that they are not quite human." Although he seemed to be speaking to Adalyne, his voice could be heard with a crystal clear clarity in everyone's minds. "From the moment we hit their ship, you have five minutes. The tricky part about it is that your opponent, unlike the others, will attempt to escape to call for reinforcements. You must prevent them from doing that. Velindrel has seven minutes. Xander has nine. I will take care of Nicholas after his guards are all captured. Make a big enough commotion to alert the others whenever you take your opponent under. There will be a two minute gap between each capture. Once each of you are done, help Vex take the cages to our ship. Velindrel will begin steering the ship away after he's done."

He stepped away, and jerked his thumb in the direction of the ship they had seen.

"In two minutes, we will be crashing into them. Everyone, get ready."

Then he was gone, a large, graceful figure disappearing towards the back of the ship. Once there, he began his preparations.

At the front of the boat Xander waited. Standing upon the edge of the Yacht. Staring off into the distance, he could feel them coming upon what this whole thing was about. His whole life, he had lived for one thing. Combat and soon, he would be able to put himself to the test once again. He had his eyes closed, his mind open. Arms dangling like the drapes on an open window, moving slowly back and forth; Caressed by the very winds that were now so pleasantly passing him by.

He could hear the others, but what they said had very little significance to what he was about to have to do. He would be the main distraction, the one that would face the frontal assault of what was coming. There was one problem with this, there were not enough people. And the body count was going to be outrageous, he wouldn't stop until all of the enemy had been completely and utterly decimated. Blood would be split this day, and his hands would be covered in it.

He loved the scent, the way it felt as the warmth transformed into more of a cool, delightful joy. Yet, at the same time he only killed when there was no other choice. Or when he was hired to do a job, and this time. He was doing it for alternative motives. For the time being, he just waited. He would have nine minutes, more than enough time for him to sink his fangs into the blood of his enemy.

Vex's eyes darted back and forth between those present, trying to figure out the positions they'd take upon impact. Normally, she took days to perfectly plan a strategy before the deed was executed-- know their routine, their vices, and any abilities or threats she should be aware of-- but this was something she wasn't entiretly prepared for. All she knew was a name and what she had to do.

Steeling herself against the coming collision, her hands gripped the side of the ship as one heel rested along its side. Long, thick lashes fluttered closed and thought gripped her mind. Time, for her, seemed to roll to a complete stop. The very nature of the shadows became far more clear. The colors and distractions melted away, and the entire outline of the ship insantly became visible in her mind. With a smirk, and an obvious dimming of her irises, amusement danced along her tongue. "At least, I'll be able to see."
