Fight!
“Well, here I am.”
Looking around she was appalled at the state of the city; coupled with its citizens, who seemed to consist mostly of Vagrants. Ro couldn’t the fathom the reasoning for her fight to be... here, of all places. A shake of her head had crimson locks tickling her exposed neck, “That reminds me...” Gloved fingertips lifted to place the unruly strands in an escapable bun against her skull.
As each step brought her closer to the cities center she could not help but feel for the people around her, even the ones she knew to be more Scoundrel than Vagrant. Each face was etched with despair or rage, the citizens apparently torn between the two. What could have caused such devastation, and why would anyone stay to live like this? Sighing softly she slowed as a two small children ran across her path, their bare feet splashing in a puddle as they made a game of who could splash the brown liquid higher. She couldn’t help but smile a bit at the sight, for their dirty half clothed bodies and smiles of delight were in complete contrast with each other. “You two, come here.” Two sets of onyx eyes lifted at her firm words, though they remained where they were, smiles withering as they took in her expensive garments and aristocratic features. “Dammit, I’m not going to hurt you.” Shoving her hands into her pocket she filled them with some coin before tossing them into the air, one after another, making sure they had ample time to catch them.
The younger, with his mane of blond curls, caught each one deftly before scampering off into an alleyway with his prize. The other, with large eyes accusatory, ran after him. Shrugging she continued on, meandering through the streets as she recalled the words of the odd man with his white beard, his impassioned speech of destiny compelling in a way Ro couldn’t describe. Between the call of the collar, now resting silent against her throat, and a foolish need to prove herself, she had entered into something she didn’t know the full ramifications of… yet.

I am many things,

Moving my collar some, readjusting it on my neck so it lay right.I has stupidly entered a tournament. My mind had told me to stay out to not do it, but i signed the papers and placed on the collar anyway. i had came here looking for a fight, for someone to challenge me ans as of so far my collar stayed dormant, nothing that i could tell. The place looked in shambles but i guess it was to be expected. i reached down and checked my pouch, enough money for a few nights stay and some food. Need more if this endeavor was going to be longer. there was really nothing for me to do, nothing really for me to do other then head to the nearest in and set up a place for the night.
My feet sloppy smacked against the ground, as i walked on one of the muddy paths heading to the center of the town.
Glancing around one last time as i walked to the entrance of the local inn. i stopped and sat down on a brick fence that stood 3 feet high off of the ground. sizing up the people around, hoping that as i sat there my collar would make a sound. People seemed to running around with little worry of what was surrounded them, it seemed that most of them had a world of there own were only they existed. Sighing , after a few minuets had passed, i stood up and entered the inn. Ready to start....What ever it was i was starting.
Just as her boredom reached it’s limitations there was a faint vibration against her throat, the collar there seeming to come to life with every step. Slowing a once relaxed gait her eyes darted to and fro trying trying to locate her opponent before they located her. Come out, come out, wherever you are… A brow would cant as she met one uninterested face after another, each person giving her no indication of their intentions.
Ro decided that if no attack was forthcoming she had the luxury of time. Using that time she slipped into a deserted alley, the buildings on either side little more than hovels shoddily rebuilt. Smiling she secured the pack against her back, her walking stick tied to it with a black cloth. It couldn’t be more than 10 feet to the top of the building to her right, backing down the alley a bit she picked a spot where the edge of the roof seemed sturdy and she ran.
About halfway down the alley she turned towards the left and jumped, as soon as her feet graced the wall her legs bent at the knee and she pushed off from the wall aiming for the lip of the roof to her right. Gloved fingertips found purchase, barely, grunting with some effort she quickly brought the toes of her boots into the various cracks and hung there for a moment while she caught her breathe.
“Next.”
Pulling her body up with her arms, her feet only making the journey slightly less inconveniant as she jammed them into every crevice she could find. Within a few moments she was up on the roof, dusting her trousers off. Slipping the pack from her shoulders she rested it and her staff in the corner while she crouched low and surveyed the inhabitants below.
I am many things,
great and terrible,
I have many faces,
sombre and maniacal,
I use many voices,
sensuous and sibilant

Walking into the in and up to the counter i placed my pouch on the wooden top and prepared to purchase an nights stay as my collar made a sound. I turned to look around , no one in my sight looked at all like my enemy. i paused with my hand over my pouch. I could make a mad dash out into the open, but if they were waiting for me. That would be a horrible idea. The inn seemed to be 3 level. so i placed down a gold and asked for A room on the top floor, so i could get a look at my openant. no way they would know what room i was put in at if they had been tracking me. a gold was far more then what the room cost but i then asked the inn keeper to keep the change, and in return he has not seen or knows nothing of me.
Walking up to my room the curtains were opened but i quickly shut them leaving only enough space to scoot my surroundings looking for the person i needed to kill. To get a jump on them might be better, then if they had me first. there were a few buildings in the not so far distance that were a floor or two higher but that was somewhat of a worry, if by change they were scouting out the city on one of them they might see me first. My hand twitch to the assumption of so many IF's. I had to be tactical i had to be play it silent long enough to spot my rival in arms. to stand out in the open begging them to attack could be a stupid move on my part.
Sinking to her belly she looked from rooftop to rooftop; it wasn’t inconceivable for her opponent to be of like minded as she, there were certain advantages that your surroundings provided, height being one of them. But a few minutes would pass uneventful, Ro seeing nothing of note, just the usual riffraff doing the usual things. Not one of them was aware of the two combatants and their impending battle. “Ignorance is such a lovely thing.”
Once she exhausted her physical senses Ro decided to use her other abilities. She slowed her breathe, calmed her frantic thoughts, and went inside herself, delving deeper than ever before to find the power she kept bound there. Like the love of a Master for its pet she envisioned a pale hand caressing this power, coaxing it to awaken, to allow her to hold it within her 'hands' and suffuse it with the pleasure of her affections. The rumble of its content was like the purr from a feline, so happy was it to be loved and needed. Ro whispered words of encouragement, urging it to help her find her foe and join her in battle once again. But in truth consent was only a formality, she could wield this power at a moment’s notice. But with that domination there were repercussions, ones that could break the tenuous hold she had on her sanity and flood her mind with things she was just not ready for.
Exhaling she pulled herself out of the partial meditative state and looked with new eyes at the city of Biazo. No being escaped her gaze, each lighting up before her with their own unique energy, the differing colors and feelings they emitted unique in the oddest of ways. But en masse they made it hard to separate one from another, like the drone of a thousand bees inside a single hive she had to focus her will on to the one she needed, eliminating the noise from the others.
Voices, thoughts, even the beat of their hearts, each assaulted her senses, each vying for dominance in her mind. But they weren’t the ones she wanted, so she moved on. Ro kept her search confined to the nearest buildings, numbering 5 in total. It wouldn’t take her long before her inner eye fell on the last, an Inn; there she went through the motions, looking for stress, animosity, fear; anything out of the ordinary. Each one seemed no more stressed than normal, considering, except for one. She could detect no heartbeat with this one, and the feeling of anxiety was rolling off the female in waves. Found you. Before she drew her power back she made sure to memorize the woman’s face and form.
A breathe she didn’t realize she had been holding escaped her lips on a sigh. Seems Terrenus was full of surprises; Undead commonplace here. Staying on her belly she waited for the creature to come looking for her, all the while she coaxed her power to uncoil further, and she began to store that growing power, her plan set.

What seemed to be a hour or two passed, There was no movement, none from anyone that had what she was looking for anyway.I silently taped my right hand's fingers on the wooden table that was next to me. I was calm and ready waiting for a move. Finally i gave up standing abruptly. If i recalled there was a huge open space next to a statue. I swear i saw it as i walked to the inn. I stood up and to walked to the door of my room, down the hall, down the stares, then out of the in into the streets swiftly bunching my self in a crowd of people to hopefully avoid a attack.
My feet hitting the pavement silently as i walked along with the people. for a few minuets till i broke off and started to walk alone. Taking a deep breath i entered the place i had seen earlier. It was good to know i had not been imagining it.Walking up to the monument in the middle i stood there aware of everything. If they were going to hide, then i would put myself out in the clear open. if they were to pass me up now then i am sure they were no were around here and were not even watching me as i had suspected.
Fight paused pending Judge ruling.
Sorry for the delay, was a tad busy this weekend (and leeched net so poor connectivity), but after talking it over with the judges and then a few third party people, I broke it down as simply as possible. Once the issue was looked at, and the root was found, the issue became one that was easy to solve.
It would be considered an auto, though when most people think of one it is due to an attack, so to suddenly just presume and enforce a shift in time over an entire thread/fight. In this case a person attempted to have the time move, which is fine because no post is officially set in stone until the next one, where events in the one prior are accepted or interrupted. Interruption? Ah yes!
With that in the mind the posts are thus far fine and the order is kept with ASoleciSticlegion up to post. If something in the post is done, assume that it is only a 'if' situation and not a set in stone type of deal. In this case the quote portion should help out a bit. What would make more sense, you not reacting at all to your enemies actions until the moment where your post begins, or being able to interpret your opponents motions as they happen, reacting accordingly? The obvious answer is the latter, and so your character may do an interrupt.
An interrupt happens when you act before the end of your opponents post. In the example given, if you threw a knife at your opponent in mid speech, before they even began running at you, you interrupted them. Obvious enough, right? So here's where it gets tricky. Sometimes people like to perform multiple interrupts, one after another, and even still this may be done by both parties! Very quickly a time paradox can form, where it becomes impossible to make any real sense out of anything that's going on. With that in mind, keep interrupts reasonable. Try not to engage in one interrupt after another. Use common sense and good judgment. If you think it may be a problem, it most likely is.
A half hour would pass as Ro stayed atop the building and amassed her power; the girl seemed content to huddle within the structure like a rodent in its hole, let her. Ro was not inclined to play her game for long though, instead she grabbed her staff, leaving her pack atop the building, and descended down the opposite side she had ascended having waited 15 additional minutes for her power to gain it’s next level.
Soft soled boots hit the cobblestones without a sound, she moved towards the Inn at a light jog making sure to stick to the darkest of shadows and the largest groups of people. She appeared no more than a traveler in a hurry like the rest. Now this momentum carried her from her lookout and to the interior of the Inn within moments, her eyes gracing the staircase to the left with the slightest of smirks. Her mental mapping of the place when looking for her opponent aided her hurried steps up the stairs to the top floor and the door at the end of the hall.
As she ran she focused a portion of her power, envisioning what she wanted and holding that vision in her mind as she lifted her leg and kicked in that shoddily crafted piece of wood, it broke from its hinges with a mighty groan and a splintering no smith would care to repair. Standing within the doorway her lips would twist into a sneer, “Hello Gorgeous.” Pupiless orbs found the girl’s own and pulling her hands out to her sides and back she manifested that power into an invisible wall, 6 feet in length and width, and thrust her hands forward, effectively thrusting that wall at the girl within seconds of her barbaric entrance.
The force of that unbreakable barrier would be enough to throw the girl, standing by the shaded window, back and out of it should not be able to dodge. Her small form shattering the glass panes in a deadly spray around her as the Undead's body plummeted through it and to the ground below. And with the building being three stories high, one of the tallest in the city, it was unlikely the girl would be able to counter attack right away, if move at all.

I had dealt with this thing many times and it seemed as if this one had a ability i had faced more then enough.Turning my back to face the window. So i was now facing the person who spook to me. Feeling pressure build i grabbed onto the thick curtain that shaded most of the window and attemted to wrap it around me to protect my body from the glass that stood behind me . My body hit the window and shattered the glass but no cuts were placed on my body None that brook my skin from what i could tell, but seeing as i felt no pain i could of been wrong.
i plummeted to the the ground from the third floor, tossing off the curtain so i can move much more simply. in return, i tucked and rolled when i hit to minimize the fall. Standing i silently dusted off my outfit.Looking over myself to make sure i had no cuts. all i had was a small scratch on my leg and that was not even bleeding. I was calm and ready, my eyes tilted up to the window i had just came from and waited for a second before i stepped back and leaned against a fence to the side stretching my arms as if this was a noting but nap time for me. " I am glad to see you have finally came, i was worried that i would get to bored." my voice was brilliant but still it had very little emotion and no rise or fall to its tone.

Again, I was called into this fight over something so here it goes:
While a single prep isn’t likely enough to slaughter or horribly maim someone in combat, it is enough that unless met with another single prep as defense can’t be something just Goku’d away with a backhand (aka nothing happen). Furthermore the post that followed the attack has the response worded in a way where a certain maneuver had to be performed in order to prevent damage from the fall itself.
This is fine. The post itself that follows the attack needs to be adjusted and reposted to reflect the attack, rather than just shrugging it off and then falling x number of floors the ground, landing already in a roll. A single prep would cause some damage or harm against a zero prepped defense.
To reiterate: Sidewalkflowers is to repost following this judgment call to reflect the damage (albeit non-lethal) from the single prepped attack. From there the fight is to continue with the new information/post.
Game on, again.
As soon as the blast was sent at the girl Ro was off at a run. She jumped through the window the girl had fallen out of, right after her, pushing off from the sill at the last second to give her that needed boost of speed. Grinning she pulled the dagger from her belt and waited for the moment when the Undead threw the curtain from her form. Gripping the blade firmly she slashed outwards, the girl only seeing her as a blur of motion so quickly was all this executed.
Once the horizontal slash aimed at the undead throat was completed Ro threw her legs out, aiming the bottom of her metal encased feet at the girl’s abdomen to use her to push off of and jump to the left. A half flip off the girl’s scrawny body and Ro landed on her feet with a soft, “Oomph.” Should the attack hit the undead throat would be slit from ear to ear, the force she put behind the attack harnessing her full physical strength; that of two healthy males, and the barbed blade was guaranteed to make a jagged mess of that tender flesh.
The assault would come and go so quick, Ro utilizing not only her physical capabilities, such as advanced agility, speed, etc., but also those she learned as a Rogue. In and out before anyone notices what happened. Ro was determined to win this or at least go out fighting, so adrenaline filled was she that her abilities, which she had been continuously coaxing out, filled her body and mind with a bloodthirsty ruthlessness that could only be attributed to the darker part of her soul. Whatever manifestation within of her of these powers she held on to it, darkness and all, her mind whispering words of encouragement so the power within her continued to build ever larger.

<can we stop all the interrupts...it is starting to make things aggravating...>
Smiling as the dagger ruched twords me. I brought my hand up and the dagger plunged into my hand instead of my neck. I felt no pain, no throbbing, and for me..the fact i could fight like that made me deadly. Taking out the dagger just before i hit the ground barley making it into a tuck and roll position. blood splattered to the ground but only a few drops as in a seconds time i had made a whip , out of pure blood. Seven feet long. 1 centimeter wide, with a weighted end. The end itself was a small red ball shaped orb 1/8 of a inch in diameter with spikes surrounding it. Swing it up words at the girl who was only 2-3 feat off the ground at this time. my aponiant had no way to move so abruptly well falling. If the whip were to connect with her it would wrap around her leg. megome would then send her flying against the wall.causing her to crash into the house that she was then forced up against.
Since Ro landed 4 feet from the girl she was inclined to laugh at her idiocy. "Over her darlin', try and keep up."
Tapping her finger against her lips she watched as the whip extended out and up towards a foe that wasn't there. Good to know your abilities. Smiling ever wider she backpedaled another 11 feet, making her a good 15 feet away now. That slender digit kept up it's tapping against the soft flesh of her mouth, all the while the need to unleash her burgeoning power suffused her body with a soft golden glow. But she kept the true force of it leashed, feeding it visions of the Undead's demise in the most perverse of ways.
