Talk of the city and life there was not something she was interested in. She had been invited out by a few human males who she could smell wanted nothing more than to mate with her. It was not something she was interested in. “I have never been to one of the gathering places in the city; I have not partaken in any social activities. If you wish to do so we can” Belladora was a shy girl, living outside the city was her way of keeping her life private and it also discouraged men from attempted things with her.

She smiled at the comment of the flowers, she loved flowers and nature. She has wanted the scent around her another reason she did not live in the city, it did not smell of nature, just humans and their buildings. The home was built to be warm and welcoming; it was something she strived for, a place to make others comfortable. It was her sanctuary from the city. “I work as a librarian, in a building filled with book. It is musty and the scent of ink, paper and leather fill the place. It is a very quiet place, humans come in remove books and then return them at a later date, I just stamp the dates for return into the books, and when they are returned place them back where they belong.” She smiled as the cats came out and got all playful with him, it was sweet to see.

She did not even wonder as to why they were there. She loved animals, she had not yet told him but she could speak to all animals, so it was not weird to find a stray around her home, even a few. She enjoyed their company.” You need not have sent them away, they are welcome here. I will have my brother’s bring out more milk, when they visit; they bring it to me daily, from the farm.” She smiled and blushed at his compliment to her home.” Thank you,”

She was proud of her home and led him up the porch steps. She opened the door and stepped in. Inside the place was very homey, there was a knitted blanket on the back of what looked like a hand carved couch with handmade cushions, a book case filled with books of all kinds. The curtains in the windows were a warm blue color, and blew softly in the breeze from the open window. Past the living room was a dining room and kitchen, all the furniture was hand carved there as well, it was something her brothers had made for her when she had moved. They had built all her furniture so she would feel at home and surrounded by those who loved her.
I close my eyes and this image floats beside me, a sweat tooth madman with a stare that pounds my brain. His hands reach out and choke me and all the time he’s mumbling, mumbling truth, truth like a blanket that always leaves your feet cold. You push it Stretch it, it will never be enough, you kick at it beat it; it will never cover any of us. From the moment we enter crying to the moment we leave dying it will just cover your face as you wail and cry and scream.

A longing for respite. This was something the shape shifter whole heartily could relate to. There were few goals as admirable as the quest for inner peace. And as beings we seldom obtain it. We search our entire lives for meaning, purpose or even rest. And we often find that our efforts are fruitless. Some cling to Gods for peace. Others themselves. While some folk simply find the simplest of things life has to offer to be soothing. The latter was the school of thought the shape shifter clung to. As she spoke he would listen, hearkening to her every word. Clinging to each syllable as a babe would milk. He found their engagements to be fulfilling as a whole. She spoke of her work and honestly he found it to be boring. Literature was important, a key component to understanding another culture as well as ones own. However he found pleasure only in reading them, not filing them away. Though he supposed someone had to be the organizer and keeper.

"You live a solitary existence as well? But are you content I wonder?" He inquired into. Now the shape shifter meant no offense in his inquiry and statement. However he felt the need to ask. For most people are social by nature. Even those who are reclusive long for interaction at times. After all the want to feel welcomed or accepted if not over another was in our very genes. They would pass through the threshold together, the interior of her humble home was far more pleasant to the eyes then the exterior of the structure. It was welcoming and the hospitality it generated brought a subtle illusion of peace with it. However the shape shifter was old and had observed the worlds decline for many centuries. And though one may believe in angels in the hearts of man or in nature. The shape shifters experiences told him the opposite was true.

In his eyes the universe was hostile and peace was brief like the eye of a hurricane. But he'd have it no other way. For confrontation was a key component in the progression of our world. It was a catalyst for personal development. Without it life would become stale and all life forms would become complacent. Which was never a good thing. At least not in this sense. "Do your brothers live with you?" He tossed yet another inquiry her way as he leaned against the wall, nesting near the shadows of her home. He had survived this long due to his ability to remain unseen. And the shape shifter had spent most of his life under disguise or basking in the protection the shadows wrought. So it was in his nature to do so here. A part of him was uncomfortable due to him being out of his element as it were. finally after much delay he would respond to her gesture of going out into town. "Part of me wishes to. But the other part simply desires to get to know you. For you are a belle person." He concluded with a smile.

Bella liked talking to him, and explaining her job. There was a simple joy in her face as she spoke of her work. Bella liked to be around book and she did not just shelve them she read them, lost herself in the pages of the book in the library she worked in. He might not find her work interesting but there was passion in her eyes as she spoke of it. When he asked her if she lived a solitary existence as well, and if she was content in it, she smiled at him “Yes I live a pretty Solitary existence, the only humans I have contact with outside of work are the ones I grew up as family with. I am happy with my choice, although I would like to meet more of our kind, I do not feel the need to socialize to be happy

He was right in thinking most that live reclusive lives wish for contact at some point or another but she was happy, she ran with the animals and had them for company since she could talk to them, and learn news through them since humans rarely noticed the four legged creatures around. She also had her ‘brothers’ who stopped by on occasion while she was home, and she spoke to them so she was not completely solitary in her lifestyle. Her home was inviting and welcoming because she liked to be comfortable and occasionally her had some of her family over to visit. It was nice to have a place that made her family feel she was not as reclusive as she really was.

Bella as young as she was knew what he did; the universe was not a nice place. That things changed and lives could be up rooted in an instant, hers had been the moment her parents had told her she was not theirs but a child left on their door step by shifters fleeing for their lives. She gave him a wide smile “No my brothers do not live with me, I am old enough to be on my own, They stop by to check on me to make sure I have all I need but I could not have any of them under my roof for more than a night without going crazy.” She watched him meld into the shadows with a shake of her head. She had done much of the same her whole life, watched from the shadows. She was curious about him, and when he told her he wanted to get to know her better not to go out, she sighed in relief. She was not big on the idea of going out and mingling with the humans.

Thank you” she blushed softly at his compliment to her, not use to such things, sure her brothers told her she was pretty but they also scared off men easily, having 7 large muscular older brothers was a pain in the ass at times, it was lucky she had never been serious about a male before. “I would like to stay in as well, get to know you ask some questions if you do not mind. But first is there anything I can get you to eat or drink?” She moved towards the kitchen motioning for him to sit down.

Lynx listened to her words. She spoke highly of her brothers. Which meant that she was family orientated in some regard. He found this to be a refreshing trait when it came to her overall character. Naturally he could relate to the reclusive style of life. However he was under no illusions when it came to the fact that such a life style does grow old. For as sentient beings we at times stray from our comfort zone to socialize and experience what the world has to offer outside of the empty walls we construct. In this regard Lynx thought of people as flowers potted on the windows sill. We stare through the glass at the flowers in the field. But only the bold dare venture outside of the potted soil. And those who dare not to wither, their beauty inevitably wasted on the pot. But he doubted this lovely, vibrant flower was one to waste itself on the pot. "There are few left regrettably." he spoke honestly in regard to their fate of their kind. As he spoke he'd step out from the shadows, closing the distance between the two ever so slowly. His eyes gazing into her own.

"Then they care for you? No doubt protective I assume? This is good for wolves often hide in sheep's clothing. You should consider yourself blessed." He spoke with a sense of sincerity. His relationship with his brother was rocky at best. He was more likely to kill him for leaving the clan then to assist him. "Siblings will drive you crazy. This I know." He spoke with a chuckle as he took a few steps forward. Further closing the distance between them. His shadow now over towering her frame. He took note of her blush and was flattered. It had been sometime since he caused a woman as beautiful as her to blush. Perhaps a bit too long. "Do not thank me Lovett. For the words I spoke were merited and true. And thus praise and kindness were justily deserved." He spoke as he placed his right hand softly upon her warm right cheek. Caressing her skin with his thumb ever so delicately as he slowly leaned forward. Thus fully closing the distance.

"You're a gracious host." He spoke as his hot breath teased her soft lips. "But all that I need is before me." He whispered before leaning forward a bit more, gently pressing his lips against her forehead. Granting her but a simple, yet sweet peck. And yes he did so to tease her as well. A smile now plastered upon his face as he leaned away form her a bit. Just enough so that their eyes could meet once more.

Bella was saddened by the news there were not very many of their kind left. She had known shifters were a rare breed but she had not known they were nearly wiped out. It made her wonder if those who had brought her into this world had made it after all. A soft “I See” was what she said to his words they were not many. She gave him a smile as he moved almost stalking her with his movements getting closer to her. She liked him a lot he made her heart pound and her blood boil, it was unnerving since she had never felt such things before.

Her eyes locked on his she answered his questions about her brothers “They love me as if I were their real sister, They are over protective and sweet when they are not scaring men away” She smiled at the wolf in sheep’s clothing because that was exactly what she was, a wolf hiding in plain sight. “I am very blessed to have them and I would not trade them for anything no matter how much they annoy me ” She swallowed as she looked up into his face his hand on her cheek, she licked her lip softly moistening them as he closed the distance between them.

When he just kissed her for head softly she looked into his eyes confused. His breath and words had made her think he was going to kiss her lips again. She gave him a shy smile her eyes locked on his and she raised up on her toes, her eyes falling closed as she pressed her lips to his kissing him, her one hand holding his shoulder the other tangling in his hair as she pressed to him. His compliments and the way he made her feel when they touched making her press as close to him as she could. The thin barrier of her clothing and his pants keeping them apart as he moved her mouth over him in an innocent kiss trying to awaken his passion for her in him.
I close my eyes and this image floats beside me, a sweat tooth madman with a stare that pounds my brain. His hands reach out and choke me and all the time he’s mumbling, mumbling truth, truth like a blanket that always leaves your feet cold. Her lips teased his flesh. Setting in motion a flood of emotions and ecstasy. Of which words could only fail to describe. Slowly he would close his eyes. As their lips locked Lynx would wrap his arms around her waist, pulling her close as his tongue began to tease her own. This time the kiss would not be brief. His nails digging into her back as his kiss deepened. His appendages naturally hardening as he grind it against her thigh. But before things could get out of hand the shape shifter would break the kiss. He did not want to over step his boundaries after all. Though honestly he might of just have. "You have such soft lips." Lynx stated as he traced her lips with his finger. A smile plastering itself upon his face. His icy blue hues gazing into her own as he wondered what her reaction to his actions would be. His free hand still held her close as he over shadowed her. The news of their species was indeed sorrowful. However he was certain they would thwart extinction and rise again.

Still he was one to count his blessings. For though they were few at least he found Bella. And in her eyes she was priceless. Though he dared not utter such words out loud. Less he frighten her. His hand would drift from her lips as his fingers ran through her radiant amethyst hair before resting upon her cheek. Gently his thumb would caress her cheek as he chuckled. "You're quite beautiful Bella." He stated while admiring her beauty. As soon as these words parted from his lips the shape shifter would succumb to his desire and lean forward once more. His tongue running up her neck toward her left ear. Playfully he would nibble upon her earlobe. "There may not be many of us left. But at least I met one as beautiful as the astral Blue flowers which inhabit the fields." He whispered into her ear. his warm breath teasing her moisten flesh. Before leaning back so that he could see her reaction. A wide grin crept on his face as his hands drifted down from her face to her hips.

He would grasp her hips and hold her close as he pressed his forward against his own. Granting her one last simple peck as he awaited her response.

Bella having never been kissed before meeting Lynx melted into him, pressing her lean form into his, as their tongues danced together in a passion filled kiss. Her arms would slide up and wrap around his neck as she met his mouth with hers. His arms holding her to him as they kissed as if they were the only people in the world. She felt the length of him against her thigh which caused her to blush softly but she did not end the wonderful kiss. When he broke the kiss she sighed softly and looked up at him with dazed amethyst eyes. Her tongue poking out to lick his finger as he traced her lips, her chest rising and falling rapidly. She was not offended by his actions but excited by them. No man had dared to touch her like he was and hold her so close.

She was glad she had met one of her own kind, more so now that she realized her kind was almost extinct. Lynx was a gorgeous man and he seemed so interested in her, she had never thought herself as beautiful, just average, but he made her feel as if she were so much more. As he moved his hand through her hair and to her cheek she softly rubbed against it, his word to her making her flush softly “you Lynx are unlike any I have ever met, chiselled perfection

Her breath came out in short pants as he leaned forward and licked a path to her left ear. She shivered in desire and moaned softly as he nibbled on her ear his hot breath on the now damp skin making her shiver with pleasure and goose bumps appear on her creamy flesh. Her eyes darkened in color with desire and as he took hold of her hips and pressed into her she moaned softly twisting her fingers in the hair at the nape of his neck “Lynx” his name came out in breathless whisper as he kissed his neck softly and pressed her form fully against his, in a silent offer to him.
I close my eyes and this image floats beside me, a sweat tooth madman with a stare that pounds my brain.
