    =BACKGROUND=
    The third son of Pelor, the Sun God, Ganelon Fierabras was a powerful Solar who fought in the Army of Elysium to smite the demons of the underworld and maintain balance in the mortal realm. Handsome, charming, and highly intelligent, Ganelon was also the Protector of Amoria, the uppermost layer of Elysium and most populated realm of the Upper Planes. His accomplishments on the fields of battle and within the seat of politics garnered Ganelon several titles, including "Lord of Elysium".

    Little is known of his arrival to Valucre, however as a result of his fall from the Upper Planes his grip on immortality has waned and he now faces new challenges that are ripe with untold danger.
    =ARMOR=

    The Swath of Light: Heavy Armor, Unknown Material
    Moving with his body as if sentient in its own way, Lord Fierabras's silver armor is made of an unknown planar element with powerful magical properties. The entire suit is completely invulnerable to fire, electric, and cold damage, and is highly resistant to even the most powerful acids. Its color can change from a brilliant silver to a light-consuming black that allows the wearer to disappear into darkness; it can also become magically glossy and redirect or reflect direct magical attacks. The material used to construct the plates is highly resistant to piercing or crushing damage.
    The Gauntlets of Elysium: Heavy Armor, Unknown Material
    Capable of crushing Dragon scale, the Gauntlets of Elysium enable Lord Fierabras to accomplish feats of terrific strength, lifting objects thousands of times his own weight or smashing what is commonly considered unbreakable. The gauntlets also improve dexterity and reflex speed, making Ganelon's work with sword and shield even more frightening in combat.

    The Sword of Elysium: 36" One Handed Broadsword, Enchanted
    Born of the Fires of Creation, this enchanted blade was entrusted to Lord Fierabras when given command of his Holy Legion. In the hands of any other person the blade becomes brittle and falls off at the cross guard, however in Fierabras's grip the blade is restored and never dulls. The lightweight material of the blade is unbreakable and enchanted to deflect (not absorb) magical attacks.
    The Shield of Elysium: 34" Diameter circular plate, Enchanted
    Lord Fierabras carries the mythological Shield of Elysium, also known as "Sol." Its enchanted ability to absorb and re-direct spells, and its unbreakable physical quality makes it both a shield and weapon capable of casting powerful retaliatory effects. The shield exists at all times as a symbol engraved into Fierabras's left glove and can be summoned into form at any time by his will.
    =SPELL LIKE ABILITIES=

    Aid: the ability to heal minor wounds, scrapes, burns, or cuts.
    Animate Objects: the ability to imbue an inanimate object with life-like qualities, these objects can then be used to attack the enemy. Cannot animate objects worn by another person.
    Continual Flame: Fierabras enchants an item to burn with a cold light that does not require oxygen. This flame cannot be extinguished, but it can be covered. Usually used as a torch.
    Dimensional Anchor: a spray of light erupts from Fierabras's hand. Any creature or person caught in the effective cone is blocked from extra-dimensional travel. Useful against beings from other planes. It also prevents the use of transportational gates or portals and teleportation.
    Greater Dispel Magic: this ability ends spells that are currently effecting an object or creature, to suppress the magical abilities of an enchanted item, to end an ongoing spell in an area (oil slick, firestorm, etc.), or to counter another spell casters spell. It is directed in one of three ways: as an area-of-effect, a targeted dispel, or as a counter-spell.
    Holy Smite: Fierabras draws down Holy Energy to attack evil or nefarious creatures. Good creatures are unaffected by this type of Holy damage.
    Imprisonment: when this spell is cast, the next creature touched by Fierabras is caught in a state of suspended animation, usually inside a sphere beneath the ground. This spell remains in effect until either dispelled or countered with a Freedom spell.
    Invisibility (Self): Fierabras renders himself invisible on a visual wavelength, as well as within an infrared and ultraviolet spectrum. Nightvision cannot pierce this veil.
    Remove Disease: Fierabras can cure another creature of disease or poisonous effects.
    Resist Energy: this spell protects a targeted ally from one of the following -- electrical, flame, sonic, cold, or acidic damage.
    Speak with Dead: able to re-animate the souls of deceased bodies, Fierabras can converse with the undead so long as he touches the body, giving them some brief semblance of life. The undead can not lie, nor can they refuse to answer any of his questions.
    Waves of Fatigue: waves of negative energy pulse from Fierabras, causing those around him to grow weak or tired.
    Blade Barrier: an immobile, vertical curtain of pure force springs into existence in front of Fierabras, causing immense physical damage to any who would step through it.
    Earthquake: an intense, highly localized tremor rips at the ground, possibly throwing creatures from their feet, damaging structures, and opening deep fissures underfoot. This can cause caves to collapse, cliffs to crumble, and buildings to collapse.
    Heal: this spell channels positive energy into a wound such as broken bone or torn flesh to heal and restore. This spell can also be used to cure fatigue and illness effects.
    Greater Restoration: Fierabras can bring a gravely wounded creature or person back from the brink of death by infusing the body with Holy energy, thereby prolonging life and healing all major wounds. The cost of casting this spell is great, however, and can leave Fierabras in a vulnerable state for an extended time.
    Power Word Blind: by issuing this spell verbally, Fierabras can blind an opponent temporarily. This effect can be dispelled, however it effects all forms of sight including mental or true-sight.
    Power Word Stun: by issuing this spell verbally, Fierabras momentarily rips the energy out of an opponent, effectively stunning the target for a short period.
    Prismatic Spray: a colorful burst of light that erupts from Fierabras's fingertips, the spray disorients and confuses any caught in the cone of effect. Although the spray does no physical damage it can give many creatures pause enough for him to escape or counter-attack.

    Create Water: this spell generates wholesome, drinkable water.
    Detect Magic: Fierabras detects nearby magical auras.
    Guidance: calling upon Holy Magic, Fierabras's awareness becomes augmented, lending him a helping hand during combat.
    Entropic Shield: this spell surrounds the caster in a vibrant, colorful force field that deflects arrows, ray, or other ranged attacks including enchanted projectiles.
    Obscuring Mist: a vaporous cloud that surrounds a creature and blocks all forms of sight, including dark vision and true sight.
    Bear's Endurance: the affected creature gains a bonus to morale and agility for a short duration.
    Bull's Strength: the affected creature gains a significant bonus to strength for a short time.
    Consecrate: this spell blesses an area with positive energy, giving bonuses to good creatures and weakening the strengths and abilities of evil creatures.
    Eagle's Splendor: the transmuted character gains a bonus to charisma, becoming more eloquent, poised, and socially dominating.
    Daylight: the object touched sheds intense sunlight for a range of 60', effectively blinding any creature that may have been looking at the object. The field also weakens evil characters and can destroy any creature susceptible to daylight.
    Invisibility Purge: Fierabras surrounds himself a 15' sphere that effectively dispels any form of invisibility around him.
    Magic Circle Against Evil: useful both offensively and defensively, this circle drawn upon the ground is imbued with powerful Holy Magic that creates an impenetrable barrier against any evil-aligned creature or monster. However, any good-aligned character that crosses the barrier (even by accident) dispels the effects immediately.
    Protection from Energy: temporarily protects against either acidic, electrical, cold, fire, or sonic damage.
    Wind Wall: usually used as a parlor trick, this spell erects an invisible wall 2' thick of hurricane force winds. This can be used to knock a weapon or piece of paper from a creature's hand, or toss any creature smaller than an eagle.
    Dismissal: this powerful spell sends a target creature back to its home plane if it fails a test of will.
    Divine Power: calling upon the Gods of The Upper Planes, Fierabras is imbued with enhanced strength and reflex during combat.
    Neutralize Poison: this spell neutralizes any poisonous effect from a target creature.
    Control Winds: Fierabras can control wind currents around him, creating downdrafts, updrafts, whirlwinds, and even blasts or super-cells to disrupt an enemy or create advantages.
    Dispel Evil: shimmering white light surrounds Firebras, doing three things: 1.) significantly reduces any damage done by an evil creature, 2.) by touching an evil creature, Fierabras can send it back to its home plane, 3.) by touching an evil-enchanted object, the object can be dis-enchanted.
    Plane Shift: Fierabras moves himself plus up to three others to a different plane.
    Righteous Might: this spell causes Fierabras to grow up to 8' taller, thereby increasing his weight and strength proportionately. When coupled with "Bull's Strength" the resulting effect is immense.
    Symbol of Pain: any creature that comes within 10' of this symbol are wracked with immense pain.
    Chain Lightning: this spell begins as a single thread of electrical energy that comes from the fingertips and strikes out at a single targeted creature. After making contact, the thread can "leap" to another creature, connecting up to four creatures in a single strand of electrical discharge.
    Heroes' Feast: Fierabras brings forth a great feast, complete with food, drink, table, chairs, and decoration.
    Mass Cure Moderate Wounds: this spell can heal the minor wounds of any creature caught within its 20' radius, effectively restoring an entire team of allies or damaging a band of undead.
    Undeath to Death: Undeath to Death effectively snuffs out the animating force of undead creatures, killing them instantly. This spell is only effective against NPCs.
    Word of Recall: this spell instantly teleports Fierabras and up to three others back to his sanctuary.
    Control Weather: Fierabras can control the local weather, however this spell can take a long time to manifest. Tornadoes, hurricanes, rain, sleet, frigid cold, blistering heat, and other weather effects can be created if given enough time.
    Holy Word: focusing Holy Energy into his voice, Fierabras can deafen, stun, and even paralyze creatures with a mighty concussion of magical sound.
    Regenerate: the subjects severed limbs, broken bones, and ruined organs grow back. This spell requires a great deal of energy and can leave Fierabras in a vulnerable state immediately afterward.
    Fire Storm: calling upon his Gods, Fierabras calls down a shower of fire and molten earth in a 50' area, pummeling any creature caught in its storm with fire, blunt, and piercing physical damage.
    Whirlwind: similar to Fire Storm, Fierabras summons and controls a massive tornado that can throw creatures as large as cattle, damage and destroy buildings, and protect against some attacks.
