Personality/Psychology:

Usually quiet and withdrawn, taken to brooding, Litalis is not much of a talker unless something needs to be said. However, he can fit the role of a charmer at a whim. He can and will seduce targets as needed, or occupy positions to extort them for personal gains. Litalis is not about excess, so much as about power and control. He is highly analytical, things are usually well thought out by the time he acts. It is uncertain as to why, but Litalis tends to have fits of blood lust within all out brawls, and this has reportedly led to tavern massacres on numerous occasions.

Abilities and Arcana:

Necromancy – the staple of Litalis’ craft. Is capable of summoning the dead, animating bones and the like. Is not limited to humanoids, is capable of working with creatures, beasts, and multiple targets.

Pyromancy – understands the basics of casting fire spells, not his primary focus. Fire breathing, forming fireballs of a decent size, and igniting flammables from a distance, are his primary uses of this skill.

Shadowmancy – works with shadowcraft mostly as a means of concealment and stealth, has been know to summon a shadow being to spy or meddle, but still a new area of study.

Proficient in stealth movement

Proficiency with knives, polearms, staves, scythes, and whips. Hand to hand combat is not his strong suit, however he is not incapable should the need arise.

Origins:
Not much is truly known of Litalis, he was found by a sorcerer, and was raised for a period of time by him. The boy was kept due to his prowess within the magical arts. His general level of corruption persisted even then, it was guessed that this was due to some previous incident within his life, but none can confirm this. The sorcerer himself is unavailable; Litalis killed him at the estimated age of 13. He continued to train and learn on his own from that point onward. His general knack for seduction and trickery stems from his ‘teenage’ years. He spent much of his spare time beyond study in taverns and bars. Gambling and drinking were his pastimes, wenching just came with the territory. As he spent more and more time in these surroundings, his analytical mind took over, learning the traits and tells of the usual clientele, and eventually moving on to the higher class of folk. He had swindled enough money away to afford clothes of high society, and he knew enough about human behavior to fit within their group. He became a master of deceit and manipulation. His lust for power and control began to set in, and these would remain his focus in life.

Political Aspirations

Throughout his life, Litalis has been known to dabble within politics. The affairs of civilized man leave much room for improvement. His much of his life has been dedicated to the study of man, his behavior, and his social interactions. What better use for such knowledge than to be pulling the strings. Further, politics has always satisfied his great need and desire for power. There is no quicker way to gain it, than through political conquest.

Within the realms of Valucre, he has found promise in the country of Terrenus. There is much fruit, ripe for the picking. It merely needs an individual of vision, to bring it all together. Through his work with the Dead, he has gotten his bearings here and has learned some of the ropes of Terrenus. However, as Litalis Enodurin, he cannot accomplish these goals. He must instead take on a guise to keep his identity safe, and allow him to work within the public of Terrenus.

Litalis thus becomes Carmine Havlock, assistant to the mayor of Casper. Most see Carmine as unfit for the positions he occupies. They abide the rumors that he was a mercenary and has no business being in politics. Further, it is said that a simple killer has no mind for politics. He faces a fair amount of adversity in his political quest, but the mayor owes him a great debt, in many ways. Mayor Vesper takes good care of Carmine for that reason. He has funds, a nice home on the edge of town, and access to everything that he may need in Casper. Slowly he is working to gain political favor.

The lynch pin behind it all, is that Carmine carried out several contracts in his past for the mayor. Throughout the course of these contracts, the mayor became aware of Carmine’s abilities and skills when it comes to people. Carmine’s age proves to be of great value to the mayor, as well as his past political experiences.
