[Mentality] Detached from emotions his mentality is almost machine like in nature, save for the fact that he is able to think for himself. The best way to describe him is to say that he reveals no emotions or more accurately, he has had such things repressed. Due to the nature of Project Poseidon he was designed to be a thinking weapon, capable of logical thought. Since his conception the main purpose of Poseidon's mentality was to allow rational thought, rather than the confusion brought on by the stress of emotions. These features would allow Poseidon to complete missions, without the need of a conscience allowing him to be capable of the most atrocious acts. Some might say that his is pure, or innocent and the might be right, he is capable of massacring thousands without a shred of guilt.

[Primary Weapons]-
Weapons full name: Atland AA-12--This weapon is intended for close combat in environments like city streets or jungles. It can provide tremendous short range firepower for soldiers during ambushes, room clearance operations and other such combat situations. Instead of an open bolt blowback action to more safe locked breech, the AA-12 is gas operated action. This was done in the view of the use of more powerful, specially developed military shotgun ammunition, loaded with flechettes or heavy load of buckshot. This system employed the traditional gas chamber and piston, located above the barrel, and locking system that used single vertically sliding locking lug in the bolt head.
When the bolt flies back after firing to cycle another round, around 80% of what would normally be felt as recoil is absorbed by a proprietary gas system. A recoil spring grabs another 10%, leaving the final recoil a remarkable 10% of the normal recoil for a 12-gauge round - so you can point the AA-12 at a target and unload the full magazine without significant loss of accuracy. Upon closure of the bolt, this lug was forced up to lock into the projection of the barrel. Upon discharge, gas piston forced the bolt carrier back, which, in turn, first lowered the locking lug to unlock the bolt, then carried the boltback for reloading cycle.
New weapon retained the long bolt travel, but had more conventional hammer-fired trigger unit, and it still fired from open bolt. The stock and receiver also were redesigned; now, receiver, shoulder stock and forearm were made as a single housing, assembled from two symmetrical units, left and right. This weapon also was selective fired, and used M16-style safety / fire selector on the left side of receiver, above pistol grip The AA-12's aerospace-grade stainless steel body is self-cleaning and it self-lubricates with carbon from the shells' detonation.The AA-12 has fired upwards of 9,000 rounds without ever being cleaned or lubricated, without any plastic fouling from the shotgun shells, locking or jamming.

FRAG-12- FRAG-12 rounds are made up of a standard 3 inch 12-gauge cartridge case and propellant, firing a fin-stabilized 19mm warhead with a MIL-SPEC 1316 compliant fuze assembly. The projectile is designed to arm 3 meters from the muzzle and fires upon impact with a surface. The HE projectile has sufficient explosive power to make one inch holes in ¼ inch cold rolled steel plate. The maximum effective range for this round is claimed to be 200m, which would be a significant improvement for the effective range of a standard shotgun. The round is designed to allow the operation of gas-operated and recoil-operated semiautomatic shotguns. The blast and fragmentation effects of the HE-FA are designed to produce a casualty radius of 2m. The HE-AP armor-piercing projectile is a shaped charge design and is designed to penetrate ½ inch of steel armor.
Among these FRAG-12 rounds, consists of a blend of tungsten and paramouse. The impact of the round against a target causes the pharamouse core to come into contact with the tungsten producing an explosion, the explosion will quickly be accompanied by an implosion of energy in which the target area is burned and then frozen. The Tungsten will provide some penetration and will get the explosion, implosion, deep freeze effect with the pharamouse. Plus since both metals are fairly dense the round still gets a good amount of force backing each projectile.

Weapons full name: Atland FN Mk.16 SCAR-L (Light)- SCAR-L is a CQC variation, tailored for urban close combat. FNSCAR rifles are not based on any previous weapons but designed from the scratch. In all variants FN SCAR rifle feature gas operated, short stroke piston action with rotating bolt locking. Bolt system appears to be somewhat similar to that of FNMinimi / M249 SAW machine gun. This system apparently is less sensitive to fine sand, dust and any other fouling inside the receiver, than any system with M16-type multi-lug bolt and plunger-type ejector. Receiver is made from two parts, upper and lower, connected with two cross-pins.
Upper part is made from extruded Ferrium C69, lower part is made from polymer. SCAR-L use upper receivers that differ only in the size of ejection port. Other different parts include caliber-specific bolt, barrel, and lower receiver with integral magazine housing. Parts commonality between SCAR-L and SCAR-H is astonishing 90%. Barrels are quick-detachable, and held in the upper receiver with two cross-bolts. Barrel change procedure requires minimum amount of tools, takes just several minutes and there is no need to adjust the headspace after the change.
he trigger unit with ambidextrous safety-fire mode selectors witch allows for single shots and full automatic fire, with no provisions for limited-length bursts mode. The charging handle could be easily installed on either side of the weapon, so the upper receiver has respective cuts on both sides. Top of the upper receiver is covered by the full-length integral Picatinny rail (MIL-STD 1913); additional Picatinny rails are mounted on both sides and under the free-floating hand guards. Side-folding polymer butt stock is adjustable for length of pull, and is shaped to provide positive cheek rest with adjustable cheek support. SCAR rifles are fitted with removable, adjustable iron sights, with folding diopter-type rear sight on the receiver rail, and folding front sight on the gas block. Any additional type of sighting equipment, necessary for current tasks, including telescope and night sights, can be installed using MIL-STD 1913 compatible mounts.

Ammunition: 5.56x45mm is a rifle cartridge, it is a standard cartridge for Atland forces When the bullet impacts at high velocity and yaws in tissue, fragmentation creates a rapid transfer of energy which can result in dramatic wounding effects. The 5.56x45mm cartridge with the standard military ball bullet will penetrate approximately 15 to 20 inches (38 to 50 cm) into soft tissue in ideal circumstances. As with all spitzer shaped projectiles it is prone to yaw in soft tissue. However, at impact velocities above roughly 2,700 ft/s (820 m/s), it may yaw and then fragment at the cannelure (the crimping groove around the cylinder of the bullet).[citation needed] These fragments can disperse through flesh and bone, inflicting additional internal injuries.
Fragmentation, if or when it occurs, imparts much greater damage to human tissue than bullet dimensions and velocities would suggest. This fragmentation effect is highly dependent on velocity, and therefore barrel length: short-barreled carbines generate less muzzle velocity and therefore lose wounding effectiveness at much shorter ranges than longer-barreled rifles. Proponents of the hydrostatic shock theory contend that the rapid transfer of energy also results in wounding effects beyond the tissue directly crushed and torn by the bullet and fragments. [Biology] Project Poseidon's biology is far more carbon based than protein. Numerous examples of naturally occurring aligned buckypaper in his body, from his muscles to his skeletal system. It is the chief contributing factor in his resilience and strength. For while these carbon elements were exactly that, merely elements in his body, buckypaper was known for being a sixth of the weight of steel and five hundred times stronger. It also reacted to electricity in a similar fashion to muscle, in that it contracted. However, while muscles contracted as a result of a chemical release from a nerve juncture, the buckypaper was linked directly to the nerve so as to be stimulated directly by the electrical impulse.
However, while this may have increased his power and durability, the structure of his musculature was going to be what contributed to his overall power. In skeletal muscles, which are the muscles that give humans movement, they have two basic types of fibers constructing them. Fast twitch, and slow twitch. Slow twitch muscles are richer in oxygen, and while they cannot contract as quickly or powerfully as fast twitch muscles, they are capable of sustaining long periods of aerobic activity without becoming painful. Fast twitch muscles are obviously, faster. They also contract more powerfully, but lactic acid build-up and a lack of capillaries and myoglobin (a protein responsible for binding oxygen in muscles) caused cramps which limited their use. Project Poseidon's fast twitch fibers were however much richer in myoglobin and capillaries, leading to a much greater quantity of them within his body
Project Poseidon's muscles are indeed small and compact, but for every muscles that a normal human had he had two more layered on top of the other. This gave him precise control over his strength, and allowed him to move faster due to the momentum. His muscles contracted one after another to create greater momentum in a shorter period of time. It was in this way that Poseidon could not only move at extreme speeds, but he could reach the apex of his speed in a very brief period of time as opposed to needing a running start. In total, the combination of Project Poseidon's empowered muscles, high power muscle fibers, and rapid fire contractions, he could reach high speeds in a shorter amount of time. This muscle structure along with it's composition, are what allows him to go at depths normal humans can't reach, or even submersibles have a hard time reaching, but also allows him to become a fearsome foe on land as well.
Project Poseidon possess sharp, serrated teeth and a flexible spine. Poseidon posses gills, that are locate on each side of the neck, These gills absorb the oxygen that is dissolved in the water allowing him to breath beneath the surface of large or even small bodies of water. His ability to breath both on land and water make him amphibious making him deadly.
Project Poseidon posses electric organs that are made up of a large number of electric disks (as many as 200,000 in one section of the body) piled in vertical or horizontal rows. The nerve endings located at the end of the electroplax discharge the electricity, thus, sending an electric shock at their own will. Being that an eel can produce up to 650 volts of electricity at 6 ampheres, Poseidon can produce up to 700 Volts at 7 ampheres. Enough to kill a Human during or after Physical Combat. Though, it is effective on non-humans stunning them for a short period of time. Project Poseidon can use lower voltage pulses for navigation and prey detection. Due to his already powerful nervous system he has no receptors for pain, this allows him to be immune to physical torture, as well as continue fighting in combat well past his limits.
