History: Nestled deeply in the outskirts of Cadrick, Brigitte's birthplace could be found. The only child of well off Atlandians, Leonard and Margaret Giroux, chemists for their own research laboratory based in Cadrick, she spent most of her childhood alone, with only her mother's gardens as a form of activity. At only five years of age, Brigitte found her self suffering from a near fatal illness. Left alone by her busy parents, and shunned by their manor's hired help she further excluded herself to the confines of the courtyard gardens, where her affinity for plant life bloomed. Soon, Brigitte found herself bringing the flora into her home, into her father's small in-house lab, performing aimless experiments on the plants. Without knowing it, she found her cure in one of her mother's herbs. Parent's delighted and Brigitte's health completely restored, she continued her hobby, Leonard letting her have the lab to herself. With the help of her parent's homeschooling, [her father leaving his profession to help her] Brigitte grew into a expert botanist, surpassing her parents by age seventeen. By her eighteenth birthday, her parents were called to Cadrick's inner city for the examination of the ship crash. Called upon by the leaders of Cadrick, they obliged, for the love of science..yet never returned.
A knock at the manor's door came a years later, officials announcing to Brigitte her parents death. Left with no answers as to how or why, only that they did, Brigitte was left devestated and alone once again. She took ownership of both the manor and her parent's lab, leading a research team for the advancement of Phycotoxicology. A recluse by nature, and in the throws of depression, Brigitte left the lab to a lead Scientist months after her twenty-fifth birthday and kept to herself in the manor for a year before becomming the Herbalism professor at the Gaian Academy. Knowing a bit about the ongoing experiments in Cadrick, Brigitte blamed them for her parents' deaths and vowed to never follow their path, regardless of her expertise in the toxic effect of plants in terms of biochemical weaponry. She spends her time, when not teaching, locked in her manor, with only an eldery manorkeep as her companion, focusing on further producing toxic plant based ammuntion prototypes. Unknown to most, she remains a mysterious woman, and perfers to keep herself as far from the secret world of Cadrick as possible. Awaiting her fate haunts her constantly, however,...sure the officials that visited years ago caught glimpes of her work. And so, she stays in the dark, forever avoiding facing the fate her parents met.
