If you ask me who I am, I'd respond with Skye Rose Cheshire. I'm sixteen years old, and my story is pretty much exactly like Geovany's. I roleplayed with a tight-knight group on IMVU, and it fed my writing beast for quite some time until we all dispersed and actually did something with our teenage lives. I'm the typical gamer and writer with a great imagination and an even greater sense of humor. I was born in the same town I live in now, a boring and completely overprotected little town in Georgia. I've always had a fascination with reading since I was able to and I've always had the upper hand in creative writing. But 'chyaknow. I originally wanted to become a writer, but considering that you usually barely make money, I've decided to move onto bigger and better things and become an editor instead. I also like to use lots of motherfucking faces and love to laugh at memes.

Introductions. I hate them. But I'm being semi-forced, so why not! I'm Jen, Jena, Selina, Catwoman, Redee, and any other bastardization of "Redemption" you can think of. I'm a Yankee, smart mouthed, witty, passionate, fun to yap with, and oh; I've been writing/roleplaying since 1999. It seems I've always been one step removed from the 'cool kids,' but I've still been around. When not loitering online, I indulge in shooting guns, riding motorcycles, listening to music, getting mauled by my cats, and I like to work. A lot. Mostly in the medical field. Busted arms halted my college career for a bit, so I'm getting that on track. I hate to say it, but not a whole lot throws me for a loop anymore.

I’ve been around for a long time on and off, My name is Victoria but I am very well known as the one and only Dyna. I’m 27 years old and have been RPing since I was 11. At one point it was an addiction, but now it has just become a hobby. I used to be an avid T1 Melee Fighter/Sparer and was pretty damn good at it, but after doing it for so long I just lost my passion for it and now I am focused on enjoying the different aspects of RP. I was born and raised in Las Vegas, I am the owner and operator of Dash N Dustem Inc. We specialize on training barrel racing, pole bending and speed event horses, as well as offering exercising, exhibitions and horseback riding lessons. I am currently going to school for my Bachelor’s in Psychology, absolutely LOVE it. Would really like to become a Psychiatrist for mentally disabled children and young adults, it really does fascinate me on how the brain works.

I have no children, except for my dog and my horses. I love Stephen King.. and I am also an aspired novelist. I would love to write a complete trilogy based off of Kalicity’s story, I think it would make an awesome book but I keep throwing it on the back burner. One day, it will happen for sure!

Hello my name is conviction. My true name I do not wish to share at this time. I am a united states marine. I am getting ready to deploy and spend my time reading, working out, drinking, studying and all around pushing myself past my limits.

I am a Radio Operator, HF certified. I currently am in the field often due to my deployment day nearly dawning. I come from a small state and finished college before I saw fit to join the military. I am a family centered man. I love my brothers and mother and support them as much as I can despite the distance.

I play the Cello, have been for 11 years. I also play the Piano and the Lute. I Dj on my free time and make beats with my friends. Whenever we have the time. I smoke and love wine as well as various liquors. Enjoy partying with my bros.

I love video games and writing poetry. Though truthfully I find it hard to describe oneself in just a few words. You can know someone for years, live with them even. And yet they will surprise you. In my life if there is one truth I have extracted based on my limited experiences it is this. That we know nothing about those close to us. For once we think we have someone figured out, they do something outlandish or contrary to their character...For better or worse.

After much deliberation and time I have decided that it was finally time for me to introduce myself. I think that it has been this long because I wanted to learn the etiquette before just rushing right in to it and shout out about myself.

So, without further audieu: here I am. I am happy to say that I am a father of 2--soon to be 3--and have been long invested in writing. In the last year I have entered into a degree program for Computer Information Science as my major. Though I am in my late 20's I have been able to really discover my own worth through this process and am happy to say that things are really looking up for me and my family.

When I first noticed Valucre I wasn't sure what to think of it. Now I visit the site everyday and read from various Lores, cities, places, and history. I am impressed with the amount of creative work that has gone into this site and am definitely proud to be a member thus far. I hope that as I explore the writings contained herein that I will be able to add something beneficial to the work already here.

Lets get on with it then! What's good! Not a whole lot I care to share with anyone, an everyday rural white guy from the burbs currently in his second year of college. When not in class or working you can find my me on my Xbox 360 appropriately named Sinister tm or browsing for a little role play style entertainment. Speaking of role playing, can't say I haven't been around the block a few times myself. My personal writing experience began to expand on a site called Gaia Online back in 2004. It was there the world of writing exploded creatively, and I began a journey of story line after story line over the years. Learning and progressing from my very first post, a duel no less, into the plethora of options available today. It is just today that I've decided I may daringly stray from the comfort of Gaia and the hole it is rotting into.

So by all means get to know me, I'm open to spam messages and the likes. I role play anything and everything but my favored scenarios always has and will be combat. Looking forward to meeting everybody, and from here I'll be taking it to the 'new guy forum.'

Hello Valucre! My name is Corey Devin, I'm a 19 year old college student living in the midwest states. I've been lurking on Valucre for little over a year, as RL has been as crazy as crazy comes. I have not actually ever been involved in a serious online RP, though I do have quite a bit of experience with Pen and Paper systems. I consider myself to be a decent creative writer, though the overall rules of writing have a tendency to be put aside with myself. I'm a slam poet with the problem of putting together portions of dialogue that tend to degrade to various versions of "Shakespearean Slips". Currently I'm pursuing a degree in Graphic Media which is more specifically geared towards Web Design. As for my interests, they tend to vary with the chapter of life I'm in. In high school I played a Violin and an Euphonium. I also took basic art classes and art appreciation. My school transcript would claim me an idiot in every possible category with a 40th out of 40th in my class and an overall GPA of .4, but I'm a firm believer that a grade system is the worst possible way to represent the knowledge that a person has acquired. I've been involved in quite a few different theological systems with my current preference to say that a faith is far more powerful then an organized religion. I play with words and love to learn new languages though learning and knowing are currently two very different ideas to me. I write everyday, sometimes for personal reasons, sometimes for technical reasons, and sometimes because people tend to think my creativity is worth their cash. I'm a huge power user when it comes to computer usage. I've used more then two dozen Operating Systems over the last 10 years and have yet to find a system that fits every need. I do sloppy coding as my mathematical skills are < 0. My current preference on an OS is Windows 7 though the newest Mac distro is a close second. When it comes to solving a problem whether it be Electronic or Personal, my mind thinks in illogical logic. I'm stubborn and occasionally proud. I find myself intelligent but only in what I know. I love word play and witless banter. I have a fascination with the Victorian Era. I've on occasion been known to wear a kilt and "rock it". I've been legally dead twice. And I find names incredibly difficult to get used to. As for my skills in creative writing, I tend to focus more on the details of a world rather then on a character. Lore is the idea that I'm interested in. I have a terrible viewpoint on humanity due to my experiences and for the past two years have been legally homeless.

My interest in this site is to get to be a better writer through presentation. I would love to get involved with almost any RP topic though some would interest me more then others. I'm also looking for criticism and possible mentoring. I would honestly have to say that when technical writing and the way that sentences come together are presented to me I have a hard time following basic rules and conventions.

The last thing I would like to say is that if you made it through my wall of text I thank you for your diligence. I'm quite timid when it comes to public presentation and so if it seems like I'm rambling I quite possibly am. Yet again thank you and I bid you all a fine day.

Anyway, about me? Well there isn't much to say, is there? Well, I love to draw things. I know a bit about computers, mostly hardware area. And I love Sir Arthur Conan Doyle's Sherlock Holmes series. I play the guitar and the violin. 20% of my life happened in my room, 50 more elsewhere, 30 in the kitchen. And no, I'm not a girl, I just love to cook.

Hey, my name's Colby. I'm 19, turning 20 on June 5th. I'm from Cape Cod, MA. I'm a second-year college student, majoring in Creative Writing and double minoring in Psychology and Philosophy. Writing has always been one of my greatest passions. I started writing, (well, probably scribbling), from the moment I figured out which end of a pencil to use, and I haven't stopped since.

I'm quite scatter-brained. My mind never stops moving, even when I want it to. I have an atrocious memory, so if I can't remember your name, bear with me.

I'm an outspoken atheist, (which tends to piss a lot of people off), but only outspoken in the sense that I am not afraid to say that I'm an atheist. I have no desire to try to change anyone else's religious opinion, and I would request the same from others, though I am more than willing to have a friendly debate.

I'm a pretty laid back dude, and try my best to get along with everyone. I love the beach and the woods, and I am lucky enough to live in a place where both of these environments are plentiful. Some of the best days of my life have been those where I get lost in the peace and serenity of nature.

I enjoy the vast majority of literature, ranging anywhere from fantasy and sci-fi to epistomological philosophy. I cherish all types of music, as long as it's good. I am, and always have been, massively addicted to video games of nearly all kinds. I have a special place in my heart for RPGs, though. Go figure.

As far as Valucre goes, I was brought here by Nette. I've known her for about 5 years now, and I consider her to be a good friend of mine. I joined Valucre in the fall of 2010, but I never really participated in anything and became preoccupied with other things in my life. Recently, however, I logged back on. I've been active for a little over a week, and I am now a PR&M staff member. I'm really enjoying my time here, and plan on staying for good.

A while back I became a member of this server, created a few characters and even joined the Watchers group before they disbanded. Unfortunately, life filled up my schedule, and I became unable to keep up with my Watchers responsibilities. Feeling guilty, I chose to avoid logging into the forum for months, instead of tackling the mountain of new plots I needed to summarize. Admittedly, that was a mistake, and I would like to apologize to anyone in the Watchers' management who was disappointed that I was not more supportive before the group failed, sorry about that.

Anyway, enough with the apologies, hello there! My name is Kaleb, and I have very little roleplay experience on this server. My name is Simon I am 23 years old. I have been role playing since December 1998 via a mixture of MSN and Yahoo! Chat. I am pretty well versed in the art of text based combat, and learned what I know from my now girlfriend Victoria. (who I have known since 1998).

I enjoy reading fantasy literature, usually revolving around mages and junk. I also spend a majority of my time playing RPGs and writing. I love cats... (I still don't know why.)

I am currently a specialist in the United States Army Military Police Corps, I have been for five years. I have been to many countries to include: Germany, Ireland, Kyrkistan, and Afghanistan. I have done one combat tour in Kandahar, in which I received two campaign stars on my Afghanistan Campaign Medal, a NATO medal, an Over Seas ribbon, an Army Commendation Medal, and I am awaiting on the orders for my Combat Action Badge.

I enjoy my job in the army when I actually do it. I usually patrol on "swings" (afternoon to midnight). I am versed in mostly federal laws, and am working on my BoAS in Forensics (DNA analysis and Crime Scene Processing).

I'm a recent grad from UCI and earned my Multiple Subject Teaching Credential (k-6). B.A. in Sociology and Anthropology, minor in education and certificate in ethnomusicology. Put my credential to work, landing a position to teach abroad for a year in Toyama, Japan. (Leaving in March).

Got a family like the United Nations; Guatemalan, Japanese, Indian, Mexican, Peruvian, Caucasian, Brazilian... but mainly Guatemalan. (I've got the Brazilian mix. My older brothers' father is a caucasian Mayan Shaman...).


Truth be told: I used to hate writing. I hated language arts throughout grade school, and never considered myself artistic... I always though I was "a math person", with natural inclination to logic.

... Then I started college as a mechanical engineer, and my world flipped. Math was dry and dull, and suddenly I enjoyed writing more than the math and physics I was learning.
I knew after deciding to change majors that wanted to teach, but instead of going into mathematics (to become a math/calculus teacher), I changed to sociology... as the passion and interest behind the lectures sparked an interest in me as well.

I also took a few studio art classes, which brought out the creativity in me that I didn't realize I had... and a year or two later, the inception of my first story ideas was born (initially intended to include many sociological elements, akin to The Wire). And my interest in writing grew...
I just wish I had more time and discipline.

My name is KD. I enjoy reading, writing and art. Some of my hobbies include going to various art museums, attending Anime-Cons, working on novels, drawing fantasy creations, and reading books that pull you into the story. Some of my favorite books include the Lord of the Rings series, Lord of the Flies, Of Mice and Men, The Scarlet Letter, and the Twilight series. Just kidding. I hate Twilight. Worst series I've ever read, and I've read a few.

I play soccer and volleyball when given the chance, and I enjoy the feeling of a cool summer breeze through my hair in the dark of night. I am empathetic, believe in no particular god, and follow some aspects of the Wiccan religion. Despite what some may think, it is not all about witchcraft. It is about honoring and respecting the earth, as well as doing to others as you would have them do unto you. Sound familiar?

I only play video games that I can get drawn into. Games like The Darkness, the Elder Scrolls series, and classics like Castlevania, Mega Man, Sonic and Mario Bros all get my motor running.
