    --Bio--
Mina is the daughter of the God of Death ruler of the Realms of the Dead. Mina is born the protector of Man-kind, to learn of humanity, and all that make humans and mortals special. Mina was banished to Earth. Upon Earth she first met Faten, Brolly, and Ryu, they became good friends and they answered her questions as best they could . Mina met Lord Daimos, Valick, and Lady Sva. It was then that Mina first felt love. Mina fell in love with Daimos and though for a long time nothing happened between them she remained friends though she wanted more. Eventually Mina and Daimos did get together and it was then she had children: Finvarra and Fionavar, twins a boy and a girl. During the time she persued Daimos she met Darkness(LoD) and Lord Vampyre, each a Horseman of the Apocalypse. Mina Became friends with them though her friendship with Darkness was frowned upon by the gods. Darkness's one wish is to destroy the world, where as Mina is to protect it at all cost. But still they are friends.

Mina's best friend threw everything was and is Faten. Though he and Daimos didn't get along, he was there if Mina needed him. Mina and Faten share a bond like no other. Mina grief stricken went insane and tried to destroy the very world she is sworn to protect. Faten intervened and was stabbed by Mina, their blood mixing and forming a seal to which Faten could seal Mina's full power from her, so should she ever lose it again she couldn't destroy the Earth. It was not long after this that Mina realized she loved Faten and they became a couple . Faten and Mina can and do share power though Mina is doublely blocked and must get permission to drain power from Faten. He doesn't have the same restrictions. This lack of restriction on Faten's part nearly killed Mina. Faten, while under a spell cast by Mina's sister, Aerianna, went evil and infact tried to kill Mina. He drained her power from her untill she couldnt stand and lost consciousness. Mina was saved by a friend, Usiel, an Angel. Eventually Mina, Usiel, and surprisingly Aerianna, broke the spell on Faten returning him to normal.

Mina and Faten have twin children of their own: a daughter named Seiyuuki and a son named Taiyou. They are much in love and though they have had problems with Mina's sister, Aerianna they live peacefully and happily.

Mina and Faten have since broken up but remain friends. When Mina's memories of what she use to be started surfacing she decided it was better she be alone. So her an he splt and the Gods removed the seal on Mina's ful power allowing herto access it at will, Mina currently as a nother problem on hand, the Demon Lord Devlin Gilner, a Hell lord for ehr pantheon who has taken it into his head that he wants Mina at all costs.

    --Other Tid Bits--
Mina favors the color orange, but will consent to wearing sky blue and white on occassion. She refuses to wear shoes of any kind and is fiercely loyal to all her friends even though it gets her into trouble...Which follows her like a tail. Mina is infact a great warrior though she doesn't like to fight unless pushed, nor as powerful as she is, does she like her magic. Honor and loyalty are what she expects from all her friends and in return gives the same. Mina doesn't lie to those she loves and would die to save anyone she cares about. Mina frequently will heal somebody even at the cost to herself, having numerous times almost killed herself to heal a friend. Vampires cannot drink from her as her blood itself will return them to mortals. Mina is Very careful about her blood and who getis it when she is Injured she burns the ground where her blood fell to make sure Nobody get a hold of it. He blood has the ability to call her to those who have consumed it, the bond is unbreakable until the person dies.

Mina if kill as is nature to her kind will be revived, If killed by a certian type of weapon, the only kind known to be her weakness she needs a willing sacrifice to bring her back. Upon revival Minas memories are fuzzy and she draws a blank as to the reason she was killed.

Mina despite what she is has weaknesses which she keeps secret. The one weakness that is known is Chaos imbuned weapons and magic. As it is very rare in the mortal realms she has no fear of others knowing it. Her other weaknesses she keeps hidden even from her beloved Faten.

Mina has a darker side to her a warrior with in, a past she doesnt fully remember. She was once the most feared warrior in the heavens with her faction of Gods rule. Those of the factions of hell who once tried to take over could not face her in battle. A merciless killer and unkind to those of either faction Divine or demon. She has forgotten this part of her self, tho there are times when she flashes the warrior she once was. It was sealed in her mind when she was sent to learn of humanity and is slowly breaking free
I close my eyes and this image floats beside me, a sweat tooth madman with a stare that pounds my brain. His hands reach out and choke me and all the time he’s mumbling, mumbling truth, truth like a blanket that always leaves your feet cold. You push it Stretch it, it will never be enough, you kick at it beat it; it will never cover any of us. From the moment we enter crying to the moment we leave dying it will just cover your face as you wail and cry and scream.

Mina's History to the point before she first came to the human realm.

When the world was still brimming with magic and all the free peoples of the world were living for the most part in harmony, and the creatures now deemed myths and legends shared the world with mortals, and gods walked the lands helping and teaching those who came to them. It was a time of greatness for all the peoples of the world, before the Hell lords corrupted the hearts and minds of man, turning them against each other and all the other free peoples of the world.

During this time of peace and prosperity, there came a Prophecy, to the Seer Goddess. There would be a child born to the Gods, who would change the fate of the Gods of all religious factions, the Hell lords, and that of every creature and free peoples of the world.

And so the Peoples continued to live on in peace with one another, for many long years, Over those years tensions ran high when a child was born to the gods, but as each child of a God and mortal proved not to be the one from the prophecy, the God and people relaxed, and slowly the prophecy was forgotten. The Gods and People didn’t realise that the prophecy was misinterpreted; it was not for telling of a child born to a mortal and a god, but to the Gods alone. It was for telling of the birth of a new God or Goddess, from the union of a God and Goddess. A child to be the first and only born of such a union.

A thousand years passed, and the prophecy was long forgotten in the minds of mortal men and a shadow of a memory in the longer lived lesser immortals such as lycans Vampires and elves. Only among the gods in all their realms and in the rings of hell was it remembered but it was no longer feared. The Gods and Goddess took mortal lovers and children were born of the unions. There was only one Goddess who refrained from taking mortal lovers, the Goddess Lexiss, Protector of man-kind. Tall and graceful, with long dark brown hair and eyes that sparkled like the sapphires they matched in color, her lips full and a deep red color always smiling. It was she, who unknowingly would bring about the change,

Over those thousand years, Lexiss grew in her power and joined the ranks of the Great Gods, and thus was inducted into the counsel of Gods. There she met and fell in love with the Black God, ruler of the realms of the dead, judge of souls. It was he who deemed souls worthy to rest in peace or to be sent to the lords in hell. He too fell in love with the Goddess Lexiss, an ill-fated love, for she was promised to another, she would not refuse his attentions. Knowing she could not break the arranged match she would meet with the Black god in secret. Thus the beginning of the prophecy began to take shape and the fates of all would be altered.

Hidden away from the sight of the gods they would meet. In a secret place known to only them, they would speak and share their inner most desires. It was in that same place that Lexiss for the first time laid with a man, and the fulfillment of the prophecy was sealed, for with in her she now carried the child who would change everything.

For many months she kept the fact she was with child from all but the Black god. She did not wish to share the knowledge that her love had born fruit. But as it soon came to pass she could no longer hide it. She was but three month along when it became known she was with child. The Lords of hell learned at the same time that Lexiss was with child. They were out raged, the Lord to whom Lexiss was promised more so than the others. She was promised to him and had agreed to become his wife to keep peace between the divine realms and those of hell. He and the other Lords of hell began searching the minds and hearts of man, searching for the one who dared touch what was his, and thus the began the corruption of man.

The Gods questioned Lexiss persistently, trying to make her give up the name of the one who fathered the child within her. Lexiss refused to name the father of her child and began withdrawing from the counsel. When pressured more she withdraw completely from the counsel and remained hidden in the secret place she shared with the Black God.

The Goddess of Seers became aware threw visions that Lexiss carried not one but two children with in her body, and that one of them possessed a dark aura and posed a threat to all in the divine realms ,and there for must not be brought into the world. When she made the announcement to the counsel, it was then that they learned who the father was, for in his joy at learning he was fathering twins, the Black God shared his joy with all the counsel. So overjoyed was he that he did not hear that one of the children must not be born into the world.

As he rushed from the counsel to his beloved’s side the remaining counsel was shocked, they would have never guessed that the lovely Goddess would fall in love with the Black god. It was a big surprise that she fell for him, when one never saw beneath his hood and that only rarely would one see the silver of his eyes from under the dark shade of the hood he always wore. Putting that aside they began discussing what should become of the dark child with in the Goddess. The counsel leaving the two parents out for they would not be objective, voted and decided that the life of the child should be ended before it had a chance to be born. The gods believed that this dark child was the child of the prophecy, and that by ending the child’s life they would stop the prophecy.

In the mortal realms the Lords of Hell continued to corrupt the hearts and minds of men. They could not corrupt the hearts of the Elves and Dwarves, and so looked to the Lycans and Vampires. The Lycan and Vampires fell prey to the corruption along with man, and were being turned from the gods. Distrust and jealousy formed in man for the long lived elves. Man grew weary of the mystical creatures and in secret began devising spells to seal them in the divine realms. The Vampires and Lycans began preying on humans, feeding from them or turning them into their kind. The Elves and dwarves retreated into hidden cities and dwellings dealing less and less with men as man sought ways to lengthen their lives. They watched as man killed the mystical creatures hoping one would contain something that when made into an elixir or potion would grant longer lives. Only the unicorn was safe from the slaughter though not from lack of trying. Unicorns will only come to a female with a pure heart. But it was the Unicorns blood they sought, for drinking the blood of a unicorn would indeed grant a long life. It would do more than grant a long life it would make the drinker immortal, a curse more than a blessing, for time would not touch the one who drank unicorn blood, that one would live forever watching all they know and love die and fade, it was a curse for killing a creature so pure an innocent. Death is forbidden to one who drinks unicorn blood, even when that one tires of the world and longs for an end.

As man hunted for the elixir of life the dragon grew fiercer and killed any who came to their lairs. Their thoughts turned from the mortal lands and back to the dragon land. Soon the dragons were removing their treasures and nesting once again in the dragon lands away from the turmoil of the mortal lands.

It became obvious to the Black God that the turmoil in the Divine realms was reflected in the mortal one. The different factions of Gods argued about what was to be done with his children. Some wished both to be killed, others said both should be brought into the universe, and some agreed with the counsel, to destroy the child with the dark aura.

While the Gods debated it seemed to him that without the children even being born, the prophecy had come to pass. The fate of all beings had changed, humans were slaughtering each other and any being they came upon, the devils and demons of the Hell Lords walked the world fuelling the hate. Man turned from the Gods. It was total chaos in all the realms, and the Black god was kept busy judging soul.

Though it pained him he knew what needed to be done, and so the Black God stood before all the assembled factions of Gods and spoke aloud for the first and only time, “The child of Darkness will be terminated; Lexiss and I have agreed it will be best for all.” With that he turned leaving the assembled Gods and returned to his beloved.

Lexiss knew what was too happed and grieved deeply for the child she would never hold, but there was little choice. They awaited the Gods to come to them, and when they arrived they did kill one of the unborn children within Lexiss. But unknown to the Gods, at the Moment of the Childs death the Black God did the forbidden and sealed the soul of the slain child in the body of its twin, to remain doemate but alive.

Spring turned to summer and wars were fought in the mortal realms. The three sorrows were released from their kennels into the world. Slaughter, famine and Malady. And thus summer turned to fall and everywhere there were signs of war and sorrow. Towns ravaged and ruined, women and children living in the streets as men pillaged and raped. While all this was happening a Goddess prepared to give birth, her time was coming.

As autumn progressed and came to the Day of the Dead, the beginning and the ending of the year, so to came the child. Lexiss on that day gave birth to a daughter. The first and only Goddess to not be born of Mother Flame and Father Universe, or that of the union between a mortal and a God. Looking upon her daughter she smiled, for the child was far more beautiful then she could have dreamed. The child slept, her eyes peacefully closed, and Lexiss knew that her eyes would be as lovely as the rest of her. And so she named the child Mina meaning she of great beauty. Mina`s lips were a deep red, so deep it could not be matched by the reddest rose. Her eye lashes were long thick and dark, fanned against her cheeks like blankets. And gazing upon her child Lexiss grieved for she knew she would never see her daughter grow into a woman.

A few hours did Lexiss spend gazing at her slumbering child before the others arrived? The Great Gods looked over the slumbering child her loveliness awing them, and it was then with all the counsel looking on that Mina first opened her eyes. Her eyes were indeed lovely beyond compare, they sparkled with a light all their own. It was the shocked gasp from the Gods that had Lexiss look closer at her daughter’s eyes. Mina`s eyes were different colors, they were not like that of an Animals with one eye one color and the other another, no her eyes were the purest sapphire blue with a no less pure Violet ring around the pupil . Mina`s eyes shocked and baffled the Gods, for no Gods had ever had violet eyes. Only creatures such as Dragons and Unicorns, or even the occasional Elf but never among the humans and the Gods had such eyes belonged. The Gods wondered about the nature of the child Mina. Would she be fierce and proud as the beings that possessed violet eye? They would watch her carefully as she grew.

Lexiss was kept busy over the next 4 millennium, keeping the human race from wiping themselves out. As Lexiss worked to keep man-kind from extinction, Mina grew. As Mina grew her father began teaching her the basics in swordsmanship, with Ryo and Eri watching on. Mina at the age of 2 showed remarkable skill and was deemed a natural swordswomen by the Smith God and Mithros himself.

Mina, as her mother fought, improved in her swordsmanship, and was being trained by Mithros himself. Mithros trained Mina to close her mind from the pain and emotions of others, to block her strong empathic powers while she fought. Mina`s strength and skills improved as she grew, at the age of 3 (a millennium in mortal years) she was a flawless swordswomen, beating Gods and warriors of every rank and position. She could wield a sword as tall as she, without tiring. Mina by 4 years of age could take on and defeat 5 skilled gods at one time. Mina was the pride of Mithros, for there was no finer warrior then the young Goddess. Swift and fierce she wielded not one but two blades at an age when most were still trying to learn the basics of the sword.

Mina trained with the sword and her powers; she learned many spells for combat as well as those spells that were unique to her bloodline. Mina took to her magic almost as quickly as she did the sword. Mina mastered all the basic and advanced magic quickly. What had taken the “lesser” Gods (those not of the Counsel) years to master, had taken Mina mere months. The Gods were awed by and in fear of Mina; she was a Great God at such a young age, not that she could be anything less given who her parents were.

The Gods watched Mina and debated among themselves what to do about the child, she was a Goddess by birth, but with no title or place among them, so could not be addressed as Goddess. So they called her Lady Mina. But even without the formal title of Goddess she was the greatest among them, she was loved and feared, for she was as powerful as the Mother Goddess, at the age of 4. They would watch the child for she was different and special, and maybe even a threat to the order of the Divine realm.

As the Gods watched her so too did Mother Flame and Father Universe, they were proud of the Goddess child, but they could not let more of her kind be born. That a child of 2 Gods was as powerful as the Greatest of their children, would do nothing but cause trouble in the future if more of her kind were born. So Mother Flame and Father Universe decreed that no God and Goddess could conceive a child together. Mina was to be the only of her kind.

While the Gods were in awed fear of the young Goddess, Mina for the first time struggled. The master spells did not come as easy to her as did the other magic. She could not hold the master spells for long period’s f time, even those of her bloodline she failed to master as she had the lesser spells. Mina’s father tried to explain, that while she had the power and skills to conjure such spells, she wasn’t experienced enough nor did she have the magical stamina to maintain such spells, but that she would gain with time.

Mina’s mother when she was not busy watched her daughter with pride and heart ache. She knew soon she would be torn from her family. The wars in the Mortal lands had ceased, man-kind was safe from extinction. It was only a matter of time before they came for her and demanded what Lexiss knew she could not do.

Mina loved her parents deeply, when she was not training with swords and/or magic she was in their company. Mina would sing and play with her mother, they would do all the things mothers and daughter would do. And each night when Lexiss thought Mina was asleep she would go into her room and gaze at her daughter. Mina was special to her, her unique child, for not only did she have strange beautiful eyes of 2 colors, but her hair was well. It was blonde in the front and the rest a dark brown like her own. Each night while she thought Mina slept she ran her fingers threw Minas hair and whisper softly,” For as long as I live, and time continues forward, in my heart and mind you shall remain, and know you are forever loved.” Lexiss would then kiss Minas forehead and leave the room, wiping tears from her eyes.

Mina was not asleep when her mother would come into her room and whisper those loving words. She didn’t understand that when her mother did such a thing every night, she wondered if it would be the last time she would look upon Mina. Mina not knowing the reason behind the visits and words loved her mother all the more for her secret whispers in the dark of night.

It happened in the spring of Mina’s 4th year, the Counsel of Gods came and with them a stranger. Mina not knowing the strange man who came with the Gods that day stopped her sword play with her guardian Eri, to watch as her mother and father talked with the Counsel and man. Mina was too far away to hear what was being said, but she could feel the emotions off everybody. It was all jumbled together, sadness, anger, nervousness and fear. Mina still clutching her swords ran to her parents, the mixture of emotions frightening her. As she neared them she heard her mother’s voice, “No, I will not, I cannot.” There was anger and sadness in her mother’s voice, Mina didn’t know what was going on, and why was everybody angry? Everybody but her father who was sad, sadness so deep it etched its self into her soul.

Mina stopped 5ft from the group of Gods, the strange man frightening her, she just watched as he reached for her mother, “You will come, you will do as you promised.” His voice was cold and hard, it sent a shiver down Mina’s spine as she stood rooted on the spot, watching the scene unfold.

“No, I will not go; I cannot and will not, regardless of the price I must pay.” Mina listened to the sadness in her mother’s voice and knew something was terribly wrong.

The stranger snarled angrily “Oh, you will pay!” He then swept his hand over everybody never taking his eyes off Lexiss” You will all pay dearly for this.” He then vanished.

Mina staggered back from the wave of sadness and fear that swept over the Counsel. She watched in silence as Mithros and another took hold of her mother’s arms. Mithros’ voice rang clear as he spoke, “Lexiss, you have broken a promise, you know the penalty for such an act.”

Mina hearing the words, rushed forward screaming,” No! You can’t!” Her swords still clutched in her hands as she looked at the Counsel. Mina knew the penalty for a broken promise, but this was her mother.

Lexiss turned to Mina and smiled though she was crying.” Ah, my daughter, you know it is so, and must be done. I love you, and it is for you I do this.” She pulled free of Mithros and the Dream King, knelt before Mina and pulled her in to a hug.

Embracing Mina, while Mina clung to her, she whispered one last time,” Remember this always, for as long as I live and time continues forward, in my heart and mind you shall remain, and know you are forever loved.”

Mina, tears streaming down her face, watched as he mother turned to her father. There was love and sadness on her mother’s face and in her voice as she spoke,” Love we need no words. I have no regrets my beloved. I would not trade the time we shared together for a million life times.” She kissed him one last time before turning and leaving with the other gods.

Mina watched horrified as he mother left to be punished, exiled for breaking her promise. “Mama!!” Mina cried as she started to run after her mother, only to be stopped by her father pulling her into a tight hug and speaking into her mind. “Mina, let her go, don’t make this harder for her then it already is. Sometimes there is a price for love, and when you find the one who speaks to your heart, you will understand your mother’s choice.” With that he picked her up and held her, as they both watched Lexiss disappear. That would be the last time either of them would ever see her again.

Mina’s mother was banished, stripped of her power and immortality. It was death to a Goddess who broke a promise that is a known fact to the Gods, to become mortal and die. But Lexiss was a special case. Her punishment was far worse, for when she died her soul would be lost, the Black God would not fetch it and pass judgement, no in life or in death she would never see her beloved or daughter again.
It was not long after Minas mother was banished that war broke out between the Heavens and the Lords of Hell. All factions of Gods were attacked, Gods, Goddess’, and Angels fought against the Lords of Hell and their minions.

Mina having trained in battle, wished to fight but was held back and refused. To the Gods she was only a child of 4, despite being a remarkable swordswoman. Mina would sit protected in a field as battles raged around her. Unknown to her, it was she, the Lords of Hell sought. They would take the child Lexiss had refused to give up and leave behind.

Mina, always with her swords at her side, would pace and mutter. She was not the happy carefree child she was before her mother was banished. No something hardened in her. The Gods feared to train with her now, for she would ruthlessly attack even when she had injured her sparring partner, she would continue her assault, whereas before she would have let them heal before continuing.

Mina paced the field where she was protected, listening to the battles rage on. She longed to join the battles. Minas Guardians Ryo and Eri would watch her and smile at one another. They knew the young Goddess would one day disobey the Gods and join in the battle. They did not realize even as they thought it, that the battle was coming to Mina. The sounds of clashing swords and the feel of magical pressure were drawing closer. Suddenly the scent of blood was thick in the air, and the ones chosen to guard Mina during battle cried out as they fell,” Run Lady Mina!” Mina turned to find herself faced with 6 large demons bearing down on her. Mina Smiled and signalled for Ryo and Eri to stay back. With a sword in each hand she faced them, her eyes sparkling with joy as her swords met and clashed with those of the demons.

Mina was a sight to see, her swords were a silvery blur as she spun and parried the blows aimed at her. She blocked and struck with amazing speed and skill, her swords a black and silver blur as they became coated in the blood of the demons she fought. Though swift and skilled, Mina could not avoid or even block all the attacks, her dress became torn and bloodied as she was sliced and cut, ignoring the pain of her injuries, she continued to fight; Splattered with blood the young Mina continued to thrust and parry. There was a loud scream as Mina cut the sword arm from one of her attackers as she twisted to defend herself from another.

The demons enraged continued their attacks, the attacked faster and more furiously at the young Goddess. Mina kept pace and fought with everything she had. Mina leapt into the air, attacking with all the pain and anger within her, and she felled one of her attackers. The demon lay on the ground, now headless as she turned to face the others.

The demons had never seen a child such as this before, her eyes were alight with battle, cut and blood covered with her own blood and that of her enemies, and she smiled! Even the devils and demons did not take such pleasure in battle as did this Goddess; they could see the joy in her face as she fought them. They were unnerved by the joy in the child, by the battle lust that made theirs seem like a rain drop in the ocean. They feared the girl before them. They had been ordered to take the girl, to capture her, and bring her to the Lords of Hell, even if it cost some of them their lives, and so they would.

There was a savage joy in Mina as she fought the demons. As she parried and defended she angled herself closer to one of them. Once close enough she thrust her sword into the gut of her target, then sliced downward as she dropped and rolled never releasing her sword as she avoided the swords that came crashing down towards her. She had now killed 2 of the 6 demons who attacked her and a 3rd was mortally wounded having lost his sword arm.

As Mina fought, the din of the other battles had died down. The Lords of Hell had retreated for now thinking they would soon have Mina. As the army of the heavens rested and looked after the wounded, one of those sent to watch over Mina had escaped the 6 demons and reported to Mithros that Mina’s guards were slain and Mina was in danger. Mithros and the other Gods rushed to Mina only to find their way barred. Ryo had placed a barrier around Mina to let her fight without interference, if Mina truly needed assistance Eri and Ryo would step in. The Gods knowing they could not force their way through a barrier erected by a Dragon watched helplessly as Mina fought.

Mina unaware of the audience, continued to fight. It had been hours now since the demons had broken threw her guards and started attacking her. They were beginning to tire and make mistakes, Mina on the other hand was still full of energy, and she had the skill of a master swordswoman and the boundless energy of a child. Mina quickly disposed of the remaining 3 who posed a threat, then turned her attention to the one who she maimed. She glared at the demon then spoke in a cold hard voice,” I will let you live this time, but tell your masters if they wish to meet with me then they should face me themselves, for next time all who come for me shall die!”

Mina walked away as the demon vanished; walking to her Guardians she passed out from blood loss. Eri caught her and cradled Mina to him as he took her home to her father, while all the Gods watched. Mina had taken down 6 of the Hell Lords most feared sergeants, and she had done it alone without the use of the magic she possessed. Ryo smirked at the Gods as she took down the barrier and followed Eri home. The Gods following behind her thoughtfully.

It was while Mina was unconscious that the Gods and her Guardians learned Mina was truly different. When the Mother Goddess tried to heal Mina, the reverse happened, Mina started to bleed more and all her old wounds opened and bled. Mina would have to heal on her own; no healing magic could be used on the young Goddess. Mina was carefully cleaned and bandaged before the Great Gods left her in the care of her Guardians. Even her father went, for he knew there was going to be a council meeting, he had known from the moment they had come to his home following the battered body of his daughter.

The Gods met though they were in awed silence of the little Goddess who would one day take her mother’s place in their counsel. It was Mina’s father who broke the silence by speaking into the minds of the Counsel. “What in the name of Mother Flame and Father Universe happened!? You said she would be safe in a place the Hell Lords had not been. That they could not send their Minions to a place they did not know! Yet my little girl came home blood splattered and bleeding! Explain yourselves! “He sounded angry as he spoke within their minds, as he had every right to be.

It was the Mother Goddess who spoke her voice calm and soft.” One of the demons is a strong telepath; he broke into the mind of one of the Gods who had protected Lady Mina before, and rooted around in his mind until he found where she was hidden.” She held up her had to stop the question she knew he was about to ask,” I know what you are going to ask, he was not guarding Lady Mina this time around because he is frightened of her. She beat him half to death in the practice yard. Lady Mina has changed over the last few months, she has grown cold and hard, the lesser Gods fear her.”

The Black God nodded his head he had seen the change in her himself. She was loving and caring with him and her Guardians, to everybody else she was distant, cold and on occasion even hostile. It saddens him that she has no love of her own kind.

As the council discussed Mina, she was waking up at home. Mina blinked and looked at her Guardians; the last thing she remembered was walking to Ryo and Eri. She looked around her room and frowned” Where is Daddy?”

Ryo chuckled softly” Counsel meeting, I think you frightened the Greats with you fighting skills Mina”

Mina sat up and winced, her hand going to the bandages “Why I was not healed?”

Eri shook his head in wonder” You cannot be healed Mina, they tried but it caused you to bleed more. You are healing nicely on your own.”

Mina nodded her head as she got out of bed and dressed in one of her play dresses. “I am going out.” She then left the cabin to find something to do. She carefully avoided the guard left to watch her, she was tired of being guarded Ryo and Eri were different then the Gods left to watch her. She was tired of having the Gods follow her everywhere. She could take care of herself had she not proved that today? Sneaking past the guards she headed off into the forest. She knew the only Gods she would meet there would be the Gods of the People (animal Gods) and they would not bother her or keep watch over her. Even Wieryn then Hunt God a lesser God would not watch over her like cat at a mouse hole. No he treated her with respect, and so He was the only other God besides her father she liked and trusted. He taught her to hunt and left her to her own devices if she wished it.

Mina wandered the forest and smiled she felt Ryo and Eri appear behind her, but at a distance. She could hear them arguing among themselves softly. They would not bother her they would watch over but not be invasive about it. Mina stopped surprised and drew her swords, as she spotted a man she had never seen before and could not get a feel of him. He was tall with dark hair and eyes; he was dressed in all black. “Who are you and what do you want?” her voice was anything but friendly as she looked at the man.

The man chuckled at her and smiles his eyes alight with mischief “I am but a visitor here. Who I am and what I want is of no consequence “He then sat down under a tree and watched Mina. He seemed right at home in the forest though she had never laid eyes on him before.” Little girl sheath your swords I will do no harm to you, come sit with me and enjoy the day. “

Mina just looked at the man. She could not believe he had spoken to her as if she were nothing more than a child. She was a Goddess and a warrior not some child playing. She was about to give him a piece of her mind when she heard Ryo chuckle and speak” Ah, so you come at last. You risk yourself talking to her that way Finvarra. Lady Mina is a bit hostile at times. Be welcome King of Faerie it has been a long time since we last met.”

Finvarra looked up at Ryo and chuckled” It is indeed a surprise to see you here Ryo, so far from the Dragon lands. And I know of Lady Mina, she has all the Gods trembling it is quite amusing to find they fear one so young.” He then stands and Bows to Mina and her Guardians” I am here to extend an invitation; you 3 are welcome in Faerie anytime you wish. It is a place to get away from the watchful eyes and a safe haven for no battle that is not of the Faerie can take place there.” With that He vanished leaving Mina stunned and thinking.

Ryo looked to Eri and smiled. They both knew Mina would jump at the chance to be away from the watchful eyes of the Gods. Mina would be safe among the Faerie and it would be good for her to have some fun, and the Fey were fun if not anything else. So that day Mina met the King of Faerie and found an escape from the watchfulness of the Gods.

While Mina was out meeting the King of Faerie, her father came home to find her missing. He was not impressed with the so called guard Mithros had set up around the cabin to guard his daughter. Angrily he so informed Mithros that Mina was missing and his so called guards were sorely lacking skills to keep watch on his head strong daughter.

As the Black God and the others began searching for Mina, Mina herself had decided she was going to go to the Land of Faerie. She wanted away from this place and all the watchfulness. She looked to Ryo and demanded her to take her to the Land of Faerie. Mina demanded Ryo with nothing more than a hard look in her eyes. Her Guardians knew Mina well and knew that once the offer was made Mina would take it. And so Ryo swept them in to Faerie with nothing more than her will, for it is known a dragon goes where it will, not even the Great Gods can keep a dragon out if they wish to be somewhere.

Mina was greeted by the host of Faerie with delight. They had known her mother and were pleased that Mina wished to get to know them. And so the Faerie feasted and frolicked with Mina. Ryo and Eri watched her with laughter this was one thing they agreed upon for the young Goddess. Mina needed this frivolous behaviour and the Faerie would be good for her. They would bring laughter and light into her dark life. Mina danced and enjoyed the faerie court. She had never seen anything so wonderful. As she danced she was warned of the food and drink of Faerie.”Take no food or drink if you wish to return to your own world” she had been told. For to eat of Faerie food was to put yourself under their sway. Mina the unusually child that she was once again gifted with being different, the Food and drink of the faerie had no effect on her what so ever and so she feasted and frolics with them, and could return to her own world when she pleased. This turn of events delighted Finvarra for he liked nothing more than a challenge and this child was one. He was determined to find out what could hold her, not for any other reason than his own curiosity. For a Goddess living in Faerie even for the 7 year requirement was not something he wished for, but it seemed to him this child of the Gods was beyond the control of anybody and that was the best joke of all.

And Mina returned home to find everybody out looking for her. She shook her head amazed and giggled, serves them right for putting incompetent guard on her. Mina not wanting her father to worry spoke to him alone in his mind “Daddy, I’m home and I’m ok, I was with the Faerie.”Mina knew her father would be angry at her for leaving without giving him word but she didn’t at this moment care. She had a good time and was happy. It was nice to play with the Fey and visit a place that was not their realm.

Many days passed after Minas first visit to the Faerie, all of the were quiet. During the lull in the war the Gods planned defences and attackstragies for when next the assault from the Lords of Hell would come. Mina was kept from these plans. They once again planned on hiding her away to keep her safe. Even after proving she belonged on the battle field the still treated her as nothing more than a child to be protected. Mina visited the Faerie and complained to them of this treatment. She did not like being treated as a child who needed defending. Finvarra was always sympathic in listening to Mina. He would explain to her that in the eyes of the Gods she was special the heir to her mother and that they wanted to keep her save until she was old enough to take her mother’s place. Mina did not like such talks but she listened to Finvarra for he treated her as an adult. Thus Mina and Finvarra became friends and when she had troubles she turned to the frivolous King of Faerie for advice and comfort. Threw it all her Guardians watch it all and smiled. Neither Finvarra nor Mina would ever be the same.

Days turned to weak and Weeks to months and still the war was quiet. Mina questioned Finvarra on what he thought the Hell Lords were up to. Finvarra would only say that time would tell but she must be ready for anything and everything. And he was correct. During the Lull in battle the Gods had become laxed on their watching of Mina. She still trained with the Gods and kept her sword skill honed but the guards had been taken away and she was free to roam the realm once again.

It was just before Mina’s 5th birthday the Lords of Hell struck. A large host of Minions entered the realm drawing the attention of all the Gods. Mina was out wandering with Ryo and Eri when they struck. As the Gods battled the host of demons the Hell Lords themselves came for Mina. She was caught off guard as they surrounded her. Ryo and Eri were knocked out with magic before they could warn Mina of the danger. Mina was along with nothing more than her swords and magic. She stood proud her swords drawn as she faced the 7 Lords who had appeared to her. She only smiled at them her eyes dancing with mirth. The time she had spent with Finvarra was a good thing for sure, but it was also not the best of things for the young Goddess. Mina grinning at them in amusement spoke her voice mocking “It takes 7 grown men to take one child? And you are the rulers oh the hells? “

The Lords snarled at her tone, she was an insolent child and they would teach her a lesson. Only one of them spoke his voice dark and filled with anger” Do not mock us child, you will be begging us for mercy soon enough, there is nobody here to protect you now. You are ours for the taking.” He moved to grab her and as he moved she stepped to the side with a small chuckle.

As Mina moved to the side she whacked him with the flat of her sword on the ass. She would not be taken by these idiots. If they had all converged on her at ones she might just be captured but her words still reverberated around their minds and they could not bring themselves to take her 7 to one small child. And so Mina mocked and taunted the one who was trying to capture her without the aid of the others. She would twist and turn avoiding his magic and his attempts to grasp her as she wacked him repeatedly with the flat of her sword every time he missed.

Mina’s behaviour irritated the Lords and frustrated them. They were tired of her playing and making them look the fool. She blocked their magic and evaded their attempts to take her. There was much more to this child then they had originally thought. They were going to enjoy torturing her when they got her back to their realm. It was obvious to them that one on one with the child would not secure her for their taking, and so while she continued to play with the Lord who sought to take her by force the others cooked up a spell and laid the trap. And Mina busy having fun at the one Hell Lords experience walked into the trap. Suddenly she was enclosed it what seemed to be a cage of shadows. As she tried to get out it absorbed her magic and became more solid. She was trapped ad she sat down and laughed. The Lord she had been taunting sneered at her “Laugh now child but you will beg for mercy later!”

Mina laughed harder and shook her head at them” Oh big bad Hell Lords going to torture a child! What big men you are afraid of one small girl! You can’t even wait till I am older.” She couldn’t help but taunt and make fun of them; it was something she had picked up from Finvarra who rarely took anything seriously.
The Lords not liking her tone or that she was right released her but not before the one she had been taunting slapped her hard bruising her face and causing her to bleed.” We will meet again child and when we do you are mine” They vanished leaving Mina sitting there shocked; she hadn’t thought it would work. As she sat there she could hear the battle raging on. She knew they would not give up the war but at least for now she would be safe.

Mina turned from 4 to 5 and still the war raged on Daily now they attacked waiting for Mina to grow up. And Mina was in the thick of it. Refusing to remain at home she would sneak off to battle fighting alongside the other. She would kill and maim those who came at her without batting an eye. She did not get sick after killing like others did. No she was a hardened fighter and when she was not in the throes of battle she was seen wandering with the King of Faerie. Long were their talks and often they were seen laughing together. Mina was a different Goddess when with the fey. She seemed almost happy. She learned from them how to be almost invisible, and to be seen only when she wanted to. When she wasn’t with the Fey she was with her father helping in the realms of the dead.

Mina Grew and warred with the best of the Gods as she grew and fought she was left to be the leader in many battles. She seemed to have a knack for figuring out what the enemy was planning and so she was put in charge of tactic and planning. Mina would fight and kill without thought to who was under her blade. She became a hard cold killer, merciless in her fights. Weakness was not tolerated, and injury was to her a weakness, if you got seriously hurt she would not send that one to a healer, no she would end their life without thought. She grew cold and uncaring to all but her father, her guardian, the Fay and the Animal Gods. She had no love for even the peoples she would one day swear to protect. Mina was frightening, and scary, even the council did not know what to do with the warrior she had become. She could and did take Mithros out in battle and practice, she was the greatest of them but she had no love for them. She would not protect them it was obvious, she only fought for the Gods because she hated the Hell Lords more. Mina had not forgiven either faction for the removal of her mother. So even when the war that lasted 13 Millennia was finished the Gods had a problem on their hands in the form of Mina who was not a peaceful child like her mother had been and they feared giving her the power of her mother.

The council met and decided the only thing they could do was put her to sleep until she reached the age of majority, and while she slept they would seal her memories of this time away of what she once was leaving it in her mind that she had spent the time among the Fay not warring in their lands. It was all they could do and so, with Mina asleep the warring ended and peace lasted in their realm
