Strengths:
~Archery- Despite the fact that the females were the hunters and the males who were not selected for the military training (Such as him) Were destined for life as farmers, Eli still managed to secretly take up archery. He found the bow on a dead human hunter when he was young. It was still intact, and her quiver still had a decent amount of arrows. He found that he had natural talent for it. He practiced and honed his skills until he learned to wield it with accuracy, however he is not a master archer, Think of it this way, If firing at a target from a distance, 8 out of 10 times he would hit the target, but only 5 out of 10 would hit the center.
~Stealth- His secretive archery training held multiple blessings. He had learned to sneak around extremely well, Especially since those whom he stalked were none other than the huntresses themselves. Each time he found one he would follow it, hoping to learn a little more archery, such as posture and technique. While it was not a perfect, or even practical manner of learning the art, He made it work. Along with that came grace upon his feet. He learned to climb and traverse tree tops with finesse, and how to move along the forest floors, darting between the shadows and keeping stock still when the huntresses did happen to look in his general direction.
~Claw work- Another fruit of trailing huntresses, He learned how they used there claws for close quarter fighting. He managed to learn a few Vital points, such as the neck, for killing, or the ankles for immobilizing. However, While he was decent in this, His main ability lied in archery.
Weaknesses:
~Blade work- Eli has never worked with swords, and therefore he knows not how to wield them, or how to fight against those wielding them, should he not have the chance to pick them out from afar
Physical Description:Eli Stands at around 5'8" Making him a bit short, That and the fact that he did not have the stocky build of a Felyne warrior was probably why he did not get accepted into the Felyne warrior training. His body is long and lean, yet what is unmistakeably muscle hides beneath his fur. His legs from running and stalking prey, and his arms and back muscles from pulling on the bowstring for so long. His eyes are gentle, But at the same time sport the piercing look that mark the potential for a dangerous hunter. He has a short snout tipped with a moist black nose, and his whiskers have been trimmed slightly, so as to not be a combat disadvantage. His Pelt is the darkest shade of glossy black, Making him nigh impossible to see in the darkness, Even when he does not try. His gait has also been changed, inadvertedly even to him. Where as his steps were once clumbsy (under cat standards) they now held a grace. His steps now silent and calculated even when he does not try to do.
Personality Description:Eli is quiet and shy. He is not accustomed to life outside of the forest, He is also very curious, always willing to learn and his questions never seem to cease. Yet he is a good friend and powerful ally if you manage to coax him out of the shell he has erected around himself. In battle his usual quiet demeanor is multiplied, to the point where it can be unnerving how easy it is to forget where he is, His color and stealth allow him to seamlessly meld within the shadows, only to appear yards ahead, before you even notice he had moved from the first shadow. ~more will be added as he develops in the story

BACKGROUND
Marital Status Never Married, No Romantic Interest.
Relatives Finrael (Father), Allar'ria (Mother), Felix (Y. Brother)
Birthplace Village hidden in the E'kraun Forest
Bio/History~Eli was born to Allar'ria, sired by Finrael. He was the smallest born from in that time, Both thin and short, He was not even expected to survive. He pulled through however, Happy and healty. As a child he dreamed of being selected to be one the felynes warriors. Hailed for their ferocity and prowess in battle. But he growth prevented him from acquiring that goal. As his friends all grew larger and more muscular, He was left behind. Where as they had the body of a fierce warrior, He had the body of a runner, and no amount of exercise seemed to help him. A few of his peers sympathized with him, while others ridiculed him. Yet he held no animosity toward them. That was one of the things that led to him realizing that besides not being physically
right for the job, He just lacked the primal bloodthirst required for the job. He matured and slowly began to get more comfortable with releasing the dream, When a stroll across the borders of the forest walls that rimmed his village. He stumbled across a recently killed hunter. He was gored in the back by a bear most likely. But the sight was nothing new, over confident humans come searching for larger game all the time, though it still managed to send his heart to pound.. But what really interested Eli about the dead man was his bow. He had often seen the huntresses wielding these but had never had the opportunity to really study them. He leaned in, and, after looking around. Cautiously loosened the bow from the dead mans grip. Partially disgusted with himself, But his curiosity got the best of him. He sat down and examined the bow. It was about his size, Though he was only a child, It still seemed massive. He pulled the string and was surprised by the resistance. He slowly let the string back into place and watched how the limbs effortlessly bent, without breaking, splitting, or splintering. He pulled an arrow out of the quicker on the mans back, And nocked it clumsily onto the string. After taking some time lining the arrow up and trying to find a way to hold it and take aim at the same time He drew back on the bow, tugging with all the force in his arms and aimed at a whorl on the trunk of a tree. He released the string, Almost simultaneously a burning stinging pain erupted from the soft underside of his forearm. He dropped the bow, and was dismayed even further to see that not only did the arrow not hit it's mark, It had spiraled out and landed on the floor uselessly.
He massaged his arm, Which now sported a large welt, that while not visible unless he was closely inspected, It still hurt just as bad. He wondered how the man could deal with that kind of pain and lifted the cold arm, expecting a pitiable collection of welts and bruises, but what he found left him feeling stupider than he already did. He lifted the mans arm out from under him to find a Leather armguard, worn on the underside from repetitive whippings from the bowstring. He slipped it off the man and onto himself. It fit him a bit loose, but he braved another try at the bow and was happy to find that he felt nothing other than a dull impact on his arm. The arrow, While it flew a little better, Still did not carry the force nor the accuracy to hit it's mark. It simply glanced of the side of the trunk and landed on the floor again. He removed the equipment from the dead man, Trying it all on himself. The quiver and armguard fit him loosely, But they felt right.
He managed to sneak them to an old tree near his house, where there was an opening beneath the roots where he uses to hide as a child. It protected him from most weather. There he placed the equipment, Hoping that he could find a better place for it before weather damage took it's toll.
Every day He went back and practiced. His arms got a bit stronger, though his accuracy was downright awful. It wasn't until he was in his teens that he had an insane Idea. Leavng the bow and equipment behind, He went deep into the forest. It was not the same for a Felyne to do it as it was for a human. Felynes had the advantage of built in weapons and superior strength and agility. He went deep in until he found what he was searching for. A group of deer grazing by the river. He sad down in the shadow of a tree and waited. After about an hour He noticed some activity in the other side of the river. It was so subtle, The deer did nothing but flick their ears. But Eli's superior sight allowed him to clearly see the quiet huntress making her way to an ideal vantage point. Eli stayed stock still. He knew any movement would alert the deer, or worse, the huntress. He watched as she picked he mark, and in one fluid motion she lifted the bow and let loose an arrow. There was a loud hum and then a dull thud, then a deer fell, An arrow juttting out from her ribs. Te movement was so quick He missed the details. But he waited as the huntress crossed the river, collected the deer and left before making a motion. He continued doing this, Inseparate parts of the forest until he began picking up differences, both large and subtle, between how he used the bow, and how he did. one of the most useful was the draw. Where he used his arms to pull on the string, stressing the wrist, forearm and elbow, The huntresses pulled using their back muscles. They pulled the string, their shoulders closing in until they almost touched, before with a quick release of their fingers, their arrows hit their mark, straight and true. He went home and practiced on the tree, amazed at how not only did pulling the bow feel lighter, but the arrow actually had power and some accuracy behind them. Though they did not hit the whorl as he had been aiming for, the arrow whizzed right for the tree before lodging itself in with a satisfying
Thuk! He continued doing so, Slowly increasing the distance between he and the whorl.
Every day he would go out in search for the huntresses, Silently watching, and learning their techniques, Not just in archery, but in prowling and in some cases Hand to hand combat. He had watched a huntress take out a bear with her bare hands, claws included of course. She went for points that were so out of the way that Eli wondered why she wasted her time. But he watched in amazement as she ducked under a fierce paw swipe, and retaliated with a swipe of her own, clawing at the ankle. The bear roared and took a step back only to lose it's balance and fall. It's injured leg did not allow it to escape. She pounced and clawed at his throat, Blood pouring out of the wound. She silently walked away, leaving the bear to die. Eli watched in amazement and practiced on dummies he made of sticks. He repeated punch, kick and swipe sequences, along with his own inventive manuevers.
One say as he was practicing on the tree he felt as if he was doing something wrong. Where he delighted watching the Huntresses hunt, Shooting the tree quickly lost it's glamour. He was soon able to hit the whorl most everytime. But it was just plain boring. Then he realized what it was. There was no challenge. The tree wouldn't move. He had to find a
target one that would evade. The thought of killing something did not disgust him as he expected it to. In fact he looked forward to getting his first deer.
He found a group of deer by a hidden glen. He sneaked up on them, His stealth honed by the months following the huntresses. He pulled on the bow and released the arrow, Aiming for the head of the dear. The deer lowered it's head to get some grass right when he released, and the arrow flew clear over it's head. The deer lifted it's head and without hesitation, bounded away. He swore as his mark evaded him. Time and time again it was the same story. Until one day he did it. The arrow had embedded itself in the thigh of the deer. He ran out towards the dear, abandoning all caution, and checked his mark. The dear still alive was thrashing and squealing. He felt a twang of pity for the dear, and even more so when he clawed it's throat, speeding up the death. He admitted to himself he felt worse than he had expected, But not enough to stop. He continued working his skills. While he was far from expert, he was at least at the skill of an experienced novice.
~Tragedy Strikes~
He eyed down the shaft of the arrow, taking careful aim while making sure not to alert his mark of his presence. The deer calmly flicked it's ear while grazing peacefully. He was about to release the arrow when an explosion rocked the forest. The deer bolted immediately. He flinched, and accidentally released the bow string, The arrow spiraled out, landing in the river and being swept away with the current. He watched mournfully as the arrow floated off. But his regret would have to wait. He realized that the noise had come from the direction of his village. He slung his bow across his back and sprinted back to his village. Upon reaching the border he began noticing a commotion. There he found a large toad like monster wreaking havoc among the village. The Warriors village was a ways off and the farmers were doing their best to fend off the monster. He had heard from travelers who had heard stories of beasts effected by the Chaos chord. He saw the connection immediately. The monster lash it's tongue at everything, swallowing all it could, People, tools, livestock, and vegetation. He ran up and knocked his bow, Taking aim and firing three bows in quick succession. A few farmers looked at him in surprise to see him weilding a bow, bit they did not stock trying to hold it back. The arrows stuck on the creatures head, it did not kill it, but it distracted the gluttonous toad long enough for a farmer to rush behind it an tear at it's hind legs with a sickle. And so it continued for another minute or so before the huntresses and warriors came rushing in. After a long and arduous battle The huntresses and warriors managed to slay the monster.
Eli went to retrieve his arrows, looking around at the destroyed village. Anger knotted his chest. bodies, thrown amidst the rubble, lay entire or, in some cases, half eaten. Tears welled up in his eyes but he held them back. As he wrenched the arrows free a huntress came up behind him. She asked him where had gotten it and how he learned to wield it.
He reluctantly told her of the body, and how he spent his time stalking the other huntresses to learn their technique. Instead of the expected rage, The huntress exhibited amusement and surprise. And offered him a chance to be part of the warriors. But he looked around the area, Looking at the dead farmers and destroyed village. And something inside him told him what he had to do. He refused the offer. The huntress did not pursue the reason for the answer, instead she respected the decision, nodding and turning to help with the injured.
He had heard of many villages that have been destroyed by the effects of the chaos, In some form of another, Infact, He even heard of attacks in other felyne villages, and in this one, before he was born.
He did not know what compelled him to make such a drastic decision. What force called him to do what he planned to do. But that night, He donned his cloak and gather what provisions and supplies he may need and left the village, Hoping to find some clue to some way he could help.
[my battery was dying so thats why the ending was a bit bim-bam-boom He went on his heroic quest. I may edit it later... maybe...]
