Leyse along with her older sister are the last suvivers of the Whitetree bloodline one of the oldest next to the royal bloodline in Allywir. The lone survivors of an attack that whied out everybody of their bloodline the two girls grew up protected in the royal palace of King Ailell of Allywir.

Her older sister eventually became captian of the royal guard and Leyse her self became an assassin to the king. Name nightshade as her assassin name she is forbidden contice with her sister but for once every 5 years and only for 24 hours. It is the law all assassin agree to since it was because of a Whitetree assassin the girls father that the family was wiped out almost completely.

Leyse joined the assassins after the man she loved was murdered. They were going to be wed and beforei t could happen he was found dead. Hardening her heart she did not tell her sister she just joined and moved up the ranks quickly to head assassin.
