The image of the Knight running towards him with blade drawn momentarily fazed Syl. What?! how'd he get here?! Syl had forgotten about the knight, his attention totally focused on the fallen one. He'd attributed his lack of awareness of the presence of the knight to the fact that he's almost dead on his feet. "Smoke, can you stop him? "If, by 'stop', you mean delay, sure.." Good, do it "Sagittarius!"
At Syl's command, Smoke's shadowy tendrils shifted from above the fallen one's arms and wings, and swiftly moved towards the running knight, forming a web of black silk in his path. As soon as Smoke released his grip on the fallen one, Sagittarius moved into place, planting his front hooves in the chest of the fallen, drew and arrow and aimed it directly into the fallen's eye... The arrow's golden tip glinting in the faint light. "Move, and die..." The usual mellow tone of Sagittarius' voice was gone, in it's place was a savage and guttural snarl.
Damn, I can't take on two ravaging lunatics at once... Time to even out the odds. Raising his left sleeve, Syl exposed his scarred forearm and raised it. Sagittarius noticed this "You idiot! you can't handle that! you're much too weak to even keep two..." I know what I'm doing, and what must be done... Concentrating, Syl began.. "Spirit of the Blood Seal. I command you enter this realm!" As he finished, blood began to drip from his exposed arm, and the scars that riddled it were reopening, and beneath the flesh, something slithered... At his bloody wrist, on which a circular scar was now gaping open, a single forked tongue flicked outward before being swallowed by Syl's wound. A second later, a green snout poked out from within Syl's arm, followed by a long slender body. Syl lowered his arm close to the ground, and out slithered Ahas, a green serpent with a mouth-full of fangs, and red, pinpoint eyes. As the serpent exited his wound, Syl fell on one knee, his pale face now looking gaunt and dark.
Ahas was small, about 4' long, and had a green color at the head and gradually turned brown down the length of his body. He raised his head to Syl's face, tongue flickering in and out between its front fangs. "The fallen one, beneath Sagittarius... Non-lethal, just paralysis... and hurry"
A forked tongue flickered in acknowledgement, and the serpent left Syl, slithering along the forest floor, towards the restrained beast... It had claws, Ahas noticed. So he proceeded to where his target's legs were. He raised his head and opened his mouth, exposing countless fangs, all dripping with venom...
