= THIRD BULLET = WHEN =
Bio: Born a single child in a poor family, Adolf learned to fend for himself at a young age. He never got into any big trouble, but he wasn't afraid to get his hands dirty if it meant a little more food on the dinner table. His father died when he was ten years old, so he left school incomplete and joined the workforce. However, three years later, he was offered an apprenticeship by a man named Ricard Siffer, who claimed to be a gunsmith. Under the impression it would earn him more money, he jumped at the chance.
Little did Adolf realize that Ricard was more than a mere gunsmith--he was a gun mage, a gunfighter who uses his weapon to channel magic. After Adolf discovered this, he continued his apprenticeship anyway, as he did indeed make more money crafting and selling guns than any of his other jobs ever could do. He learned many magics, finding a talent for destruction and kinesis, and some affinity for summoning and animation. Eventually he was given permission to create his own magic gun--Setting Sun, a pistol housing the soul of a demon.
However, as the years passed by, he became suspicious of his master's late night activities and the fact that their funds were always just a little less or more than what they should be. On night, he followed his master after they closed the shop, and discovered that Ricard was selling weapons to local organized criminals. When confronted about it the next day, Ricard said that gun mages were rare and needed to do anything to stay afloat, even if that meant crime.
Their relationship was tense from then on, and Ricard was reluctant to teach Adolf new magic. Within six months of the discovery, Adolf had taken all he could, and ordered Ricard to change his ways. Of course, he refused, so Adolf then tried to kill him. They fought publicly, and Adolf came out the victor, with Ricard dead at his feet. Adolf took Ricard's magic gun, Glass Heart, and cleared out the most valuable objects from the shop. He had become a wanted killer, so he fled and sold what he had taken except for Glass Heart for smuggling costs. Once out of Revatio, he then traveled to Genesarius, where he was unkown, and it is there he now resides.
He now searches for magic tomes to expand his knowledge so that he may rightfully call himself a master. He is also looking for an apprentice. He still sends money to his mother to help support her.
= FOURTH BULLET = WHERE =
Reputations: His name is known in many parts of Tellus Mater, though few accounts of him are accurate. Most know of him as a viscious man, though thankfully for him, his appearance isn't known outside of Renovatio.
Bounties/debts: Wanted over most of Renovatio for murder. Setting foot in the country would mean almost certain capture.
Sanctuaries: He has a secret dwelling in a small South-Eastern town in Genesarius. It is basically empty except for a bed, and has no luxuries, but it has a roof and nobody knows about it.
= FIFTH BULLET = HOW =
Primary weapon: Setting Sun
Type: Magic pistol
Size and shape: 11" long, 4" long 110 degree grip
Appearance: The gun has a black finish all over, with a dark walnut grip. On both sides of the slide are demonic script, only readable by demons and those who channel them.
Capacity: 10 rounds
Range: 300 ft
Soul: Caldwell, a wrath demon
Personality: The demon's name is Caldwell. He loves violence, especially in the name of "justice". Before he was captured, he spent his time suggesting acts of violence to people's souls. He still has oppurtunities to do this to Adolf, so he has taken his imprisonment quite well.
Activation: Setting Sun can be activated by speech, but the most vigourous reaction comes from blood.
Specialties: Destruction magic
Notes: As Caldwell relishes bloodshed, the weapon seems to be more powerful when used with the intent to kill, especially when it's in cold blood.
Secondary weapon: Glass Heart
Type: Magic revolver
Size and shape: 7" long, curved grip
Appearance: The revolver is a clean gunmetal grey, with an ivory grip. Simple runes decorate the barrel in a spiral formation. The runes are written in an old fairy language.
Capacity: 6 rounds
Range: 400 ft
Soul: Tuuli, a sylph
Personality: As a wind spirit, Tuuli, the spirit of the gun, loves freedom, and is eternally tormented by her magic prison.
Activation: Glass Heart can be activated by speech, but the most efficient way to activate it is with motion.
Specialties: Kinetic and restoration magic
Notes: Glass Heart originally belonged to Adolf's master. As the killer of its previous owner, Glass Heart's spirit, Tuuli, can be spiteful and uncooperative at times.
Skills: Gunsmithing, fisticuffs, history, marksmanship, and research.
Powers: An adept at destruction, summoning, animation, and kinetic magic. Some knowledge on other fields of magic.
Limitations: He has a steel bullet in his liver from his fight with his master that was never removed. As such, he is in great pain when under physical duress, and his body processes toxins slower than another man of similar fitness would.
= FINAL BULLET = WHY =
Belief 1: "I was right to kill my master, and someday, Tuuli will understand that."
Belief 2: "It is my responsibility to always try to help my mother."
Belief 3: "I will never succumb to Caldwell's temptations."
Belief 4: "I must become a true master gun mage."
Instinct 1: Check your ammo before a fight.
Instinct 2: Proofreading your magic runes and circles can only be helpful.
Instinct 3: Never sleep without a weapon.
