Creatively Chasing Creatures Cruising Craters, Caverns and Canyons! 101 - Created by: Soulbrand
The name is long and often stirs both furrowed brows and laughter from those who would read it upon the bulletin board or when pamphlets for the Gaian Academy are passed around and eagerly students flip the pages looking for their classes. However the new class and the newest teacher promise both adventure and good times, but mostly a risk of death.
Breakdown:
Students are sent on field trips to various depths with nothing but their purchased goods, wits, and each other and have to locate, track and then take down a beast highlight at the start of each session. The beasts are various in sizes, numbers and the method for take down doesn’t always mean kill—granted some of the beasts are prone to aggressive behavior when they see people in their otherwise isolated homesteads.
It should be noted that a student is very likely to return deranged from the time spent in the depths or even maimed and/or killed if things go foul. The teacher takes no responsibility if the student is too daft and can’t live. Flowers will be sent to families.
And perhaps a cake.
Needed:
Players of characters would be required to spend VB and gain a few essentials for the quests:
1. An Adventure Kit. Basic would suffice but those who can spare the cash would benefit greatly from the premium.
2. A weapon. It doesn’t matter what kind or of what size as long as the student is at least proficient enough in it to not cause harm to themselves or another student.
3. Whatever else. Sometimes a situation might call for something uncanny, so this option is left to the student.
That is all, see you all in class!

Class requirements:
Student must have credits in either Elemental Theory (I) or 8 Schools of Magic. And credits in either The Adventure or Live Combat (I)
Binding objects of any form for the SMC.
Ex. Trinkets, wands, staffs, guns. Any item may be used as a the binding object
*It’s advised, but not required, to have some knowledge of Ritual Magic as most often Summoning Magic also involves some form of sacrifice and agreement/pact between Summoner and Creature.
Often in the world, one finds himself in a situation where he is alone and is faced with a task he is ill-equipped to handle. It’s at times like these that one would wish he had a companion fit for the task. This class does exactly that, provide you with the help you would need. No more back-breaking labors, tiresome travels or even just loneliness, thanks to your easily accessible, almost always available companion, Socio Magorum Cantata (SMC) or Summoned Magical Creature.
The class offers a chance to create beings of all shapes, sizes, and power through magical means. Those who prefer nature over the arcane may even opt to adopt captured beasts to become their SMC. The broad spectrum of summoning is discussed in the first tier, focusing on creature creation and creature care, while the advanced classes give more in-depth studies on how to manipulate a created creature’s features and abilities. All SMC may be both natural (Existing beasts, either magical or not) and arcane (Golems, Constructs, Elementals and the like)
Classes involve excursions to locate suitable beasts and materials for use in Summoning.
