Personality: A man of relatively few words and an apparently stoic demeanor, Sebastian Zagat is very difficult to describe. Observant and cautious, Sebastian tends to plan for every occasion and prepare himself for the worst of occasions. When he does speak, he tends to come out as rather dry, demeaning and sarcastic, often stinging people with his rudimentary speech pattern. To most peple he would seem dispassionate about almost everything, including his own life.

Due to the years spent serving in the Army as a soldier, Zagat has accrued valuable military information and insight of internal politics and the inner working of people’s minds. After the years he spent in the army, the man traveled from town to town in order to better understand his fellow men and the art of psychological warfare. Although deceptively detached to the world, he is in fact much more observant than he appears, always speaking from a point of view that is both logic and feasible when acting as a Consul. He is relatively sparse when referring to others, hoarding words much like Scrooge hoarded money, but he does deem necessary to speak he is both persuasive and confident, although he speaks without much flourish in his rudimentary speak.

In truth, Zagat has learned over time to tightly control his emotions and keep them hidden although he feels them in full. Although he would never admit it, he is extremely protective of Gabrielle, to the point where the man rarely ventures farther than a few paces from her unless it is absolutely necessary. When he perceives her to be in danger, he acts swiftly and with extreme prejudice, often leaning towards permanently neutralizing her enemy.

Abilities and skills

Weapon Mastery: Due to his versatile nature as a soldier and his years on the battlefield, Zagat has become extremely liberal with the idea of what can be used as a weapon. From hubcaps, to knives, to guns the ex-soldier has always found creative ways to employ common items and turn them into deadly weapons.
Enhanced Durability: Zagat's ability to endure and resist damage is considerably higher than an average human being. Due to his years in the Army and his recent enhancements, he is able to receive and sustain a great number of wounds and ignore the pain, no matter how serious they are during a situation of great stress. When it comes to disease, Zagat can fend off the symptoms for a time, yielding to the sickness days later if the sickness is potent.
Enhanced Reflexes: Zagat can dodge bullets, catch flies in mid-air, dodge and maneuver around complex attacks, catch falling objects, block detriments, and normally react instantaneously to what others take more time to react to. Due to his enhanced reflexes and his extensive battle training, Zagat is very rarely caught unaware.
Psychic Resonance: Through an adaptation he got in Shift, Zagat is able to feel a crowd’s general emotional state and draw conclusions from it.

Attire

Watch: Although a seemingly common expensive watch, Zagat’s timepiece hides a garrote’s wire, used in order to strangle and kill people.
Suit: Butler wields a variety of weapons that he keeps on his person. These include a nine millimeter SIG Sauer handgun in a shoulder holster, a two-shot Derringer pistol up his right sleeve and a small knife up his left, three stun grenades in various pockets, and a good old ball bearing cosh stuffed down his shirt.
Shoes: At first glance, Zagat shoes seem to be your average polished black leather shoes, but they each conceal four inch knife by each toe that comes out when he clicks his heels together. Used in conjunction with his martial arts training, the shoe knives could be very lethal, especially if it hit a major blood vessel. It also has an element of surprise, and could be used to cut things like rope, if the wearer should be tied up.
