The OOC
This RP will take closer to a nested format than ever being open until a point and completely scripted to ensure a quick enjoyable play. There's a start and finished all scripted out however I've taken a lot into account to allow you to make differing decision however still arrive at a conclusion.
DM reaction based vs. nested: like nested this allows for post order to be neglected in instances. However unlike nested DM reaction based is focused around your interaction with NPC and situation being fluent and based off who would react first.
For example if an NPC shoots an arrow at c while b was next to him and a was in the tavern. C or B depending on their character type (normally stats) would post first with a reaction followed by the next person who was at the action then finally a would post. In some cases multiple posts will be made by the same set of people before coming to the next people in line to post. This post order is assigned by the DM at the end of their post depending on the NPC actions towards the user. If a post order is not assigned proceed in a normal fashion a, b, c, etc. note the DM may post out of order in some instances where and action is done by a player that might effect a NPC. This happens in rare and isolated incidents were time stretching may occur if the DM does not post out of order.
Epilogue
The mid-South of Genesaris was a slower-paced place caught in a simpler time. The folks were friendly and their lives uncomplicated. The populace who occupied this slice of simplicity occupy a multitude of hamlets that are scattered around haphazardly throughout the rolling prairies. Villages had not formed and the nearest was easily two days walk away.
All hamlets within this area were busy with preparation for the following nights autumn equinox. A celebration of a bountiful harvest; a night of song dance and festivity. It was a welcome change from the current rumours that plagued these small communities to the young and the foolish stories circulated of a monster clad in armour to the skeptical bandits who raided their lands. Who would of thought both could be correct? Very different rumours have been circulating in the south bereft of these isolated hamlets ear. Rumours of treasure; of gold; of wealth of artefacts; of unholy servants plotting. Adventures and bandits a like have slowly but steadily been flocking to these isolated parts to join in the search for this rumoured wealth.
Our story begins in a small Hamlet, one of the many, completely unremarkable or distinguishable from the rest. Who would believe that this would be the staging place for mighty mysterious travellers who would protect their isolated community from corruption and destruction from unforeseen evil forces.
Meetings
Margaret was busy at work with preparation for tomorrow harvest festival she had a long running rivalry with the Bakers for best hardy-soup. The consistent thump of knife on chopping-board as Margaret chopped vegetables set the rhythm; as the soft hiss of sizzling meat the percussion; and the bubble of soup broth the melody joining together to create a symphony of homemakery. It is safe to say that this symphony was to be as exciting as the hamlet's day would get until the make-shift musical allegory was promptly torn a sunder by the holler that could rival the most talented of town-criers produced by young farmhands who ran around the small community screaming.
"STRANGERS! STRANGERS COME!"
Margaret like many of the community would cut their activities short overcome with fear. The community wasn't use to strangers nearly everyone in the area was known by face further more with all these rumours floating around the hamlet was on edge. The small community would whip itself into a frenzy doors and windows were shut and locked; men were readied with whatever farm equipment or hunting tools they could equip themselves with; and a loud and large bell was rung on repeat to summon those out harvesting and hunting home. Perhaps not the most open-armed greeting of which these people were known but these were troubling time for these people hamlets had been sacked and people killed, no precaution would be spared.
