Childish, innocent, perhaps too naïve for her age.
Despite her naïveté, Calladium has fighting skills that she uses quite well in sight of need, for both self-protection and even doing harm if necessary.
Most of the time however, she acts childishly enthusiastic and worries a lot about those around her.
Background:
Some of the locals from the small fishermen village where she was brought up always warned her parents against keeping an odd-eye creature at home, even if it was their own child. But they never cared about it. They knew and ignored the old sayings, about those born with Heterochromia (genetics anomaly in which one is born with one eyes with different colors) bringing no more than loss and disgrace wherever they pass.
As Calladium grew people in her village never really accepted her existence, and even the other children would often insult and refuse to play with her. So she got used to being always on her own. Calladium ignored villagers’ dislike towards her, she believed that people were concerned about their future for they believed in ancient tales that were high unlikely to mean anything at all. Or so she thought. At the age of 11, Calladium Maphiliff lost her home, her mother, her father and anything else she treasured. That’s how her wondering life began.
It was going to rain, lots of lightning and thunder on that fearful night. The old tree that stood besides the Maphiliffs home was stroke on the first noisy lightning. A long branch fell in fire, destroying the roof below and the couple that slept under it as the building collapsed. Calladium became the only survivor of such tragedy.
From then on, the blame was laid entirely on her. No one wanted her close and soon, she decided to make them happy for once by leaving her birthplace.
Through her wonderings, she performed many kinds of jobs, learnt a few of healing and even acquired some skills for self-defense from a man she met somewhere in Valucre who also gave her the bow she uses until today.
