[.IV] The Beginning

Vlad is the only born son to the scientist whom created the "Magus Deck" from a child he was selected for his father's legacy, always learning his trade as a nano engineer. Vlad took his fathers work, and his initial design of the "magus deck" implant when it was first ready to be tested. At the age of eleven Vlad was implanted with the first deck named: "Magus one". At this time the specs were slightly off but allowed for the desired effect. The first implant was a success at the cost of needing a high blood sugar level to maintain constant casting. To counter this effect young Vlad became addicted to energy drinks, and needed longer periods of time to rest. At the age of twelve Vlad took a second implant: "Magus" ( the one used in cyber mages now) with a different affinity. This caused a nano clash inside his body, making him deathly ill. His father halted production on the rest of the implants to create a "Cure" for the clashing war ground inside his son's body. After months he created a formula of bots that separated the two decks production making them produce "friendlier" bots that were productive instead of destructive. This gave Vlad almost glowing green eyes, and shortened his life span greatly. He suffers from coughing up blood, and hyper activity.
No other cyber mage has two implants due to the serious health side effects.
Years later "magus" model implants were sold black market to anyone, creating a network of mages bent on stopping enforcers.
At the age of eighteen Vlad witnessed the death of his father, the destruction of the lab and became one of the most infamous galactic outlaws in history.
A year has passed. Vlad travels from colony to colony recruiting "Mages" for a rebellion.
