The sounds given by the fae's harp changed with each chord strummed, the energies that he had gathered stormed about his aura like a raging storm. The "lightning" seemed to shift about, changing in color as the chords he played changed. Maeryn's eyes locked into Primal, watching his form carefully. It didn't quite matter what he did anymore, he was about to die. Maeryn's fingers became more frantic on his harp and with it the "lightning" became more violent pooling into what seemed to be a stream before him.

A voice erupted violently:

"Song of assassins technique number one hundred and forty three: Faded Celestial Lightning!"

At his command the violent red lightning coupled with a golden aura would fire forth to its target. The lightning itself seemed to constantly change in color and signature as the chords of Maeryn's harp changed. The aura about the energy remained its vibrant golden color the magical signature finally present amoung it. The effects of the "lightning" were unlike any other. The purpose of the aura was to distort singularities in magic. What did that mean for the "wolf's" shell? Simple, it would distort the energy so much that it would rend the fabric holding it together and upon impact it would simply tear it to peaces. The reason the lightning constantly changed was so that the aura could not distort its base properties. The ligntning's purpose was a simple one: upon impact of the being it would vaporize him; however, this was not a simple form of vaporization its point was to completely annihilate what it touched. Thus could be seen on the plant life as the bolt ripped through the air.

Wolf was approximately 10 meters away: the attack moved at 700,458 meters per second. The time for impact was well less than a half a second.

Attack is composed of a high voltage plasma like lightning that constantly changes magical signature, it is controlled by the strings of the harp. The reason the magic changes signature is the aura in which it is contained causes a magical distortion, singling out a "constant" stream of unchanged energy and streaches it until it rips. The aura vanishes after an initial impact with a magical object, allowing the initial projectile to break free.

The wolf's shell inverted; the earth on which he stood cratered and sunk, giving way to the shell's raw power. The bolt of lightning passed over the hole in which he stood.

He craned his muscular neck and gaped at the spot in which a vaporized tree once stood in the forest surrounding the field. Interesting technique . . .

But this is bullshit, he thought. Why doesn't he just come and fight me?

He grabbed the handle of the knife secured to the outside of his right thigh and glanced up at the edge of the crater, anticipating the appearance of his foe. Sod displaced by Wolf's shell was still settling. Wisps of smoke and heat rose up out of the hole, something Maeryn would have to contend with if he approached, like sauntering toward a smoldering firepit, or perhaps the impact site of a tiny piece of space debris.

Wow. Well, first of all I give props to Tidus for all of the intricate detail he put into his post, as far as allowing me to see what exactly is going on, where he is getting his power from, how he is energizing it and where it is going. Wolf, my sincerest apologies, my friend. Your amount of detail is slim to none. From reading your post, I only know that there is a shell around your character. This is no aspect or element.

Air shimmered around him: a shell. He continued to pattern his mind to the coils of black magicka writhing in the moonlit darkness, reached out with his mind's hand and imbued the threads with his signature so that he might weave a coherent effect. The air shimmering around his form radiated waves of heat.

Air shimmered around him? Really? I understand you are creating a shell, but what is the source? He had to get it from somewhere? And then it radiates waves of heat, I would love to know how that would reflect plasma like lightning strikes?

As Maeryn giggled and drank of the raw earth, Wolf gritted his teeth and sneered at the monster. His jaw muscles flexed, his maxilla became more pronounced and wolf-like. Heat shimmered off his pale, leathery skin, the sum of many scars, rolling backward and forward across the plain in visible waves.

Okay, so obviously in this post, you claim your “shell” has jumped up a level. Yet I see no mention of the shell, other than heat radiating off your “pale, leather skin.” Where is the prep for this so called jump in strength? It leaves the post and the claim, quite inadequate.

The earth gives way to the “raw power”. Once again, I bring up the question, what raw power? There is still insufficient evidence given by the writer, on how he (Wolf) acquired this ample strength. And then, the lightning passes over your character, due to the hole that you just created. But really, how deep is the hole? How big is the crater? And is the lightning coming at an angle, or straight down the middle? I would assume it would be at the center of the target, so there for, whether or not you sunk 3 inches or 5 feet, the lightning would still hit your character.

And I think it is interesting how you refer to the vaporized tree. I’m sorry, but was the tree literally standing where you fell? Was it right behind you, because I do not recall reading about a tree in any of your other posts? With this, I am not even going to acknowledge your attack following.

The final ruling of this will go to Tidus(Maeryn).

Wolf, I suggest your alter your counter. Honestly, if it were within my power I would consider your shell null and void due to the lack of detail and prep for the shell in question. However, I do not think I can do that. So I simply I request that you revamp your counter to a more logical one to get out of harms way. From what I am reading, your shell will not withstand the strength of Maeryn’s attack and if you choose to just stand there, your character will be obliterated.

Since this it the second time Primal has been corrected by a judge, I am not giving him the opportunity to repost. This fight is over.
