Is it enough to live the life we lead? Is it wrong to thrive on strife and desire for more? What of our anchors that hold us steady like ships in the harbor? Should we break those ties to sail the oceans no matter the obligations left behind for only a short time or stay and weather the coming storms while being bashed against the shore; becoming damaged and eventually disposable? I say no, I say go and spread your wings, God gave us this world to make our own. We are victim to lies and misleading's, lead to know what we are allowed to know. Life is our book of knowledge to learn all we need and desire to know, just open it up and turn the pages. If you ask me, we are a people who are ignorant to our own abilities and that which we are worth.
It was said once that a man is only worth his word or that of the value of his works. I feel that has died and blown away like dust upon the wind. Now it is told that we are worth that of our economic status, but I feel that to be incorrect and taught to us to keep us as sheep, afraid to graze past the borders where our faceless shepherd guides us. Possibilities for us are endless as each of us is capable of amazing feats, able to accomplish anything from saving to destroying the world we live in; a fact that is proven every day.
We shall not prosper if we do not want. Our will is our own and makes us who and what we are each day. It is when we allow someone as a person or a group like a government to guide and lead us astray that we lose sense of self and no longer live free. Born to slavery either way the sphere turns, whether it is bowing down and succumbing to fear or doing out of respect and want; slavery till death is still the truth. Are we rebels or revolutionaries? Do we stand for what is right and just or do we honestly make actions through the simplicity of hatred and spite? Either way, are we not still slaves? Slaves to a cause that is not our own, to a land we don't control. Beautiful yes, but pull away the apocalypse of the lies will unveil the truth of where we stand as HUMANS. This world is ours, so why settled for what someone else thinks they have to offer. Grow on your own feet, with your own back and your own mind; make the world your own.
Live, laugh, love, and hope. Hope for a world that offers all that we need, desire, yearn for, and ever wished to exist. Is it enough, is it too much? We are only given a set number of days and what we do with our days sets the foundation for those to come in our tomorrows. So let us be as we are and live life freely, leaving a world of choice for lost souls that will replace our own.
Hit the button, set us back. This technology is an atrocity and cuts us from that which is most important. No more does the value of a crop hold true, nor does the value of a man's word or even that of discovery in something new. This world we know has come to a standstill, halted and frozen in time as progress Is no more. Vanity and ignorance has corrupted the masses and spoiled the well. Betrayal bestowed unto us by no other than ourselves. Is it enough or is it too much?
