Bio
Raised in a small town without ever knowing his father, his first experience with animals was at the age of 5, when he attempted to train mice and birds to perform tricks or attend to any other of his wishes. His success was such among the other children that he soon became interested in trying to train other species. He tamed birds to be sold as pets and learned by himself how to ride horses and other creatures.
Many times he was told to be mad, for his sympathy with animals and capability to “understand them so well” along with his habit of talking to them. Usually he seems more used to being close to animals rather than other humans.
Today, people seek him to send messages trough pigeons and hawks or to tame wild beasts to be ridden or simply killed. Not rarely, will he show up in towns with a rare kind of bird to be sold as a mere pet or beautiful wild horses that, thanks to him, accept anyone to ride them.
Around his neck, like a thick scarf, he carries a snake, not very long but still poisonous. That is his companion, his partner, anything but a pet. It is much more than that: it is the only creature he tried to capture that ever got him close to death. Shia admires it more than anything, and nearly gave his life to gain its loyalty. No taming, nothing and today it accompanies him on its free will. Shia will never dare to say it belongs to him and no price will ever convince him to sell the reptile he calls Ophidea.
