Biography/History: Born of two worlds, Rin had a hard time of it growing up. He was never as quick, or as agile, as a normal Zephyrian...and underwater, he was the equivalent of an asthmatic. It didn't help to look (or sound) effeminate, either. So, as it is, he suffered a lot of resentment. He became withdrawn, especially when his mother passed away. However...this is what gave him purpose, ironically enough. Being completely overwhelmed by sadness, he unlocked the ability to work with the water. He began to relish creation, and appreciate all of the life sharing the water with him.

That was at age seven. In the years following, Rin started learning anything he could about making new things. Creating things with his hands, his ability...and when he was old enough, he shared them with others as a merchant. He also began to pick up healing, which helped with the caravans between the two cities of Advantia and Zephyr. But he always felt he could do more. So, setting out, he went to find the Realm of Dust, to reach a helping hand out to them as well. And, as a market for his various wares.

In his heart, though, he knows...the Empire of Flame will strike again. And he must be there to pick up the wounded.
