Daeor.

[font=arial]INTRO.

Name : Daeor.
Location : Eastern Rosinder.

BASICS.

Kingship: (to be assigned to the new king/queen of Rosinder)
Population : ~30,000.
Security:
___ Primal Units.
Renovatio's greatest defensive creation. Only seven are stationed on Mt. Xion; it is said that one Primal Unit is capable of taking on a legion of men.
___ Primal Scouts.
A trusted few remain in Mt. Xion to aid the Primal Units.
___ Royal Guard.
A unit of three hundred men of Rosinder and Renovatio.

LAYOUT.

Daeor is a city-castle that hovers over a sub city where commoners dwell. The aristocrats, middle class, and wealthy live on the floating city-castle. Having been exposed to the Renovatian way, a small case of segregation exists, though those who live on ground can and sometimes do earn a place to live on the city-castle.

INTEREST.

Rumors of Tellus : they say that on top floor, Tellus rests upon a bed of white rose pedals, and anyone who lives to see the top floor by excelling through the ranks, they'd be granted one wish. Very few have lived to reap the benefits, and those who did were never heard from again.

Now is the time for change!

Calm yourself, Byukaga...

...The messiah has come forth in the form of a hume to show us anew way to live. One that'll purify us; sons and daughters of sin. For those of you who reject his highness' ideals, you should reconsider... while we sit here and discuss schemes democratically, we shouldn't forget who gave us the option to voice our opinions--

You will not convince the senate that way, Byukaga. Please allow me?

...If you feel you can do better... be my guest.

Ahem. Peopole of Nu Rosinder and Renovatio. Exus Prime has developed a new technology that uses mana much more cleaner and smarter than all of those who wield some form of technology in Valucre. With plans to build an MIMTA station in your skies, we will be able to progress further beyond the opposition. Though already light years ahead of the competition, we shouldn't stop with such a comfortable lead. No not at all, for it only makes sense for us as the people, under Tellus Mater's banner to excel.
Chatter amongst numerous a-list figures created an audible gibberish dialect that reverberate throughout the spacious foyer. Men and woman both spoke on the possibilities and the cons that could come of this idea. The facts were obvious: a greater trade resulting in funds beyond Daeor's wildest dreams. New eco-friendly technology that would surely help the city of Daeor evolve into a diamond unlike its counterparts.

The hume couldn't resist the temptations of prosperity and longevity, and it was for that same reason, many a voice would shout Yay, easily overwhelming those who spoke the unforgivable term: nay. Lucky them though, for if this were a dictatorship, they'd be silenced forevermore.

[justify:188g9wsy]
Understand this! Our people are no longer considered inferior amongst the other nations of Valucre. Yes, "our," yours and mine because we are now one. Through the horrid trials of war, a new power has made it possible for us to unite with a single goal in mind: Greater Glory. The depression has come and gone, and believe it or not, it has benefited the nation of Rosinder immensely. Our Overlord is truly a messiah. He has performed many miracles already. The restoration was done in several weeks, restoring Rosinder's beauty and then some.

No longer will we have to worry about a war rendering our marvelous creations mere rubble, people of the Tellus Hall. We are now a super nation, envied by our nation's sisters and gods. Our common folk are now considered noble. I know some doubt still lingers amongst the few of you in the crowd, and I'm glad, because without an opposing opinion, this democratic system of ours would crumble.

Many of us have taken the Overlord's words into consideration. His miracles are inexplainable, and many of us were convinced. It is the infidels we must rid ourselves of.

We too concur, speak of Rosinder, but it isn't that easy. Know this, it will be those infidels that bring you pain. Many who fight for Old Rosinder and its old ways will soon come to realize that their efforts are redundant. Not because we are unbeatable, but because we have accepted a brighter future. One that doesn't need a halfhearted king to make decisions for you. One that is simply put: a breath of fresh air... something Rosinder hasn't had in ages.

With the passing of this bill, there will be more than enough jobs for Daeor natives. The positive ramifications seem all too good to be true. Change has blessed us all throughout this beautiful struggle. So do not think for one second that we're here to use Daeor for its natural resources, because we've supplied it.
As if mere drones, they'd bestow the speakers with an ovation as the next topic was being pushed about via paperwork.

The people of Daeor wish to consult the Chairmen concerning Xevn's tower.

Granted. You've three minutes on the podium.

The passing of several bills in Kingdom Come has resulted in us, the people of Daeor, controlling and maintaining the Tower in Xevn. Firstly, we'd like to add more security to the small town, preferably Primal Units. Secondly, we'd like to transfer ten percent of the energy to Nu Jeruxalim. The reason is because we've received messages of droughts lasting months now. We'd like to create a great Oasis that could act as a reservoir of some sort. One that would never deplete in fresh water with the work of Mana constantly reproducing and purifying it.

Granted. Name of said Oasis?

Whatever the Chairmen wish.

The Oasis will be labeled: Paradigm. It shall be installed a week from today. Next topic.

Re: Daeor.

Already having been shown to his seat, Tirok Nolath was new to this setting in particular. The senate in Dozkeye was much different than those of surrounding nations, or even across the planet at that. At the center of the floor was a pit, much like an arena, where certain disputes were immediately settled. But just because the sands of that arena were occasionally tarnished with blood did not mean that they could not be diplomatic. In that sense, the Emperor was all too accustomed to this setting.

Dressed in his new armor, he felt rather stylish. The animal hides that came over his waist and shins were now accompanied by a huge pelt that was slung over his back and hung slightly more over his right arm than left. But being new, he wanted to wait until there was a certain calm in the air. Slowly he pressed his hands against his knees and stood to his feet. The towering nine foot figure began to speak in very clear, enunciated words,

"My name is Tirok Nolath, Emperor and Voice of the Nation of Dozkeye, siding with the Oportunist Party. I was wanting to speak about bettering the defenses for the lands given to me so that we may better protect the interests of Renovatio," While he felt that he may have left something out or not been as formal as he should have been, he kept his posture and forward gaze.

[justify:1nxtbfbl]One of the few chairman would reply with a tone as if insulted, taking the defense immediately prior to hearing out what Tirok had to say, "Do you think Renovatio's defenses are inadequate?" Sourly his voice serenaded over the diplomats, coated with irate layers as if melted chocolate. "What knowledge could you possibly bestow upon us that would better something already perfected?"

Another voice from the chairman would speak over the heated chairman as others within the mob of politicians chortled some, trying their hardest to hide the snickers provoked by both Tirok and the Chairman. "At ease, fellow Chairman. Let us hear what the newcomer has to say and offer." His palm rested upon the heated politician, gesturing with a freehand that he should be seated. "Please, come to the podium and voice your opinions, Tirok."

The sounds of chair legs dragging and muffled coughs reverberated loudly. "You'll be given ten minutes to speak on whatever it is you wish to talk about since this is your first time."[/justify:1nxtbfbl]

Re: Daeor.

Encountering opposition was simply delightful. It made him fight hard against himself to stave off the smile that wanted to show itself. Bowing his head politely to the chairman who would rather hear him speak than shove him off, Tirok began to step down to the podium. On the way down, of course, he had a few thoughts..."Hah, I doubt that man has even seen an open-field battle or had to deal with the threat of an invasion before.

Stopping at the podium, his hands extended slowly to hold on to the outside corners of the stand. Tirok's voice would build slowly from the first few words to a tone loud enough for all to hear, "First, let me thank all of you for allowing me to speak here. It is an honor to be allowed within this court. But with that being said, I would like to address some concerns I have. Though your buildings are no doubt glorious in their beauty, defensively, they...in my humble opinion...are lacking. Even the castle of Kar'tzech has no mounts on the walls for balistas to fire against an oncoming enemy or trebuchets to stop oncoming siege equipment. When it comes to war, form cannot come before function."

Undoubtedly some men would be upset at these words, so he would give time for the air to settle before continuing, "I'm not suggesting that we tear down your gorgeous structures but instead focus on networks of outposts and forward bases. Not but a short time ago was I asked to assist Rosinder to shirk off the rule of Renovatio! War will inevitably come to your grounds, gentlemen, and each of us must be ready to do what is necessary to show the strength that Renovatio possesses! I would gladly fight alongside any man who admits that no matter how resoundingly strong their defenses may be there is always room for improvement: For example...Rosinder has numerous Mana Geysers...and I was hoping we could put those to use for defensive means."

Already, Tirok had drawn up multiple plans for outposts, forts, walls, and how they could essentially form a barrier that would halt any invasion from the water as well as have several forts within Rosinder that would house their military as permanent locations so that if any outpost is threatened, troops could immediately reinforce it. Moving his right hand down to his belt, he'd unlatch the multiple leather maps and set them on the podium, "I offer these for review and, with any hope, eventual approval. I did not turn Dozkeye from a land with but one castle to a place with multiple tribes and peoples broken under my rule because I have no knowledge of warfare, my friends. Thank you." With that he would bow his head.

And indeed, there was a reason why he left the mana geyser statement unfinished. It was meant to trigger intrigue to the other chairmen gathered in these halls.

Re: Daeor.

[justify:2ysgsmh6]The maps Tirok placed upon the podium top would start to pulsate a soft golden hue. Seconds later, a holograms equivalent to that of a two hundred inch plasma television manifested, showcasing Tirok's ideas. The Chairmen flicked through them as if mere still frames when in fact, the uncanny abilities of mana brought them to life as mere paradigms exhibiting their abilities and whatnot. "You've much to learn about Renovatio, Tirok."

The chairman spoke softly, bestowing a smile upon speaker with plans for a safer future. "Though the idea of a barrier intrigues us. Those geysers that spew unrefined mana effusively could support such an idea. One that could protect an entire city." The crowd exploded back to life with soft hymns as words mixed and matched, making it nearly impossible to decipher what was being said amongst the mob of politicians.

"Out of all of your ideas, I like this one the most. As for the others, you'll be granted permission to setup said defensive means to safeguard your castle and land. Maybe sometime soon, you'll be able to witness what just four Primal Units can do against legions of men." The smile he offered quickly vanished whilst focusing on the favored idea. "We will take these blueprints off of your hands, though you will be fully credited."

Another chairman would direct his comments towards Tirok humbly. "Is there anything else you wish to convey and or request of the Chairman, Tirok?" Such a question was a sign of Tirok's respect building amongst men who seldom cast such upon foreigners. They knew that Renovatio and New Rosinder could utilize someone like Tirok. He just needed to fall in line to the swagger presented by Renovatio, and only then would he bloom into an entity well worth a reputation surpassing those of the senate. Even the Chairmen themselves.[/justify:2ysgsmh6]

Re: Daeor.

Among the papers that had been placed were drawings regarding devices that could be placed in harbors to prevent enemy ships from docking. One had a forward facing plank on a hinge. As the ship came forward and pushed the blank back it then forced a spike straight up to impale the ship and leave a gaping hole that would cause the ship to fill with water faster than it could be siphoned out. All the same -

A shield? Oddly enough Tirok hadn't thought of that. His thoughts were on the offensive capability of such a thing so he made sure to voice them...in due time. The technology just used to turn the sketches in to large, shimmering images for everyone to see was astounding. With respect, he would respond in the order that he was addressed, "I certainly do have much more to learn about your customs and ways. And again, thank you for giving me the chance to speak here. The only remaining thing I was hoping to discuss would be turning the mana in to a concentrated beam. The structure above Kar'tzech could certainly help with this. With that, I have nothing more to add."

Taking a half step back from the podium, he'd hold his arms down against his side, bow slightly, and begin to leave. There was a lot he had to do...

Few members of the political audience allowed their hands to collide ever so gently. Not so much a standing ovation, but some support of what he had to offer as a new member; a speaker for the People. A recess would be issued as a bell sounded off. The entire auditorium would clear and in just minutes, a fly's wings could be heard buzzing, echoing as if the insect flew around a grand canyon with a microphone attached to its backside.[/justify:jyeouqnl]
