The military of Muhir, the Aeliyrian Arms are a select group of men and women, who based on linage, are sent to the Avic Institute where they are versed in the Muhirian Art of War. Applied at a young age, those who enter the institute are taught both the ways of physical prowess and if they show a natural aptitude for it, the arts of magic.
When the hard physical molding is over, they are then taught in the ways of proper etiquette, so they can leave the Avic Institute with not only a strong sword, but also the ability to shift in and out of social situations in a way that reflects proper etiquette.
Within the Aeliyrian Arms there are a few factions that exist for special purposes, amongst them are groups with extreme political and military power, a sway over the common people and the embodiment of the Muhirian Nation.
—the Crossing Wreath of Tellus Mater or better known to the population as ‘CROSS’ are a group of men and women who have excelled in the white arts. Using such knowledge they are moved to the city of Aeliyr and serve the church as a specialized faction that uses the knowledge gained to provide protection and aid the Church.
—the Imperial Order of Muhirian Law, ORDER is a high echelon of the Aeliyrian Arms, blessed with extreme political and military power. They are known to stand out amongst the crowds, the awes that escape the lips of civilians and the military alike, for the choice of attire; ebon armor that covers their visage from head to toe. A lesser faction exists within, holding a slightly weakened form of power and not as privileged to wear the armor of the counterparts; they act as the general force directly beneath the masked ORDER.
Honor Cydious, present leader.
Honor Arianne.
Honor Miroslav.
Honor Sunil.
Honor Zuberi.
Known by name, their faces have only been seen before they were entered into high ORDERand as such records of their appearance and features have been lost, it would be possible to see them on the street without their armor and not know that you just brushed shoulders with ORDER.
—the Developing Daylight of Tellus Mater a newly established faction under the care of the present ruling family of Muhir, they are tasked with the chore of developing both new technologies as well as magic to be used by the military (and people) of Muhir. While they tend to lack the ability to official perform what they are researching, their intelligence far makes up for it and able to do their jobs without.

With a fearsome military at her disposal, the Aeliyrian Empire has done well to not only claim but also maintain the lands under their rule.
Aeliyrian Arms -- The primary force of the Aeliyrian Empire, while initially training teaches them both magical and physical aspects, there is a latter division that specializes in one or the other. This allows the prowess to be well defined, and ready for each and every occasion.
Imperial Knight: The official name for the ground troops of Aeliyr, they are the ones who excel in both a physical offensive as well as a physical defense. Typically they move in groups of a minimal of fifteen, complete with a General who issues orders to the rest of the squad.
Imperial Shield: Akin to the Imperial Knight, they are simply an upgraded version of the Knight who excel and are commonly seen in heavy arm, a tower shield and typically detour from the sword in exchange for a spear or a similar weapon.
Imperial Mage: The magic of the Empire is powerful; each mage is versed in a few of the arts before separating into their selected discipline (black, red, etc) for the remaining years of their training. A powerful Imperial Mage is more than capable of establishing a barrier that protects an entire city, a similar skill has been deployed around the Skywire to create an atmosphere capable of normal life.
General: Often times referred to as the ‘Elite’ are a select group of leaders picked from the division below it, they are versed in a wider range of skills than the men they lead, likewise their range of weaponry varies from the basic sword to the more magical enhanced or even more exotic, pending on their personal tastes.
Aeliyrian Air Fleet -- The skies are not without the grace of the Aeliyrian Empire, the air fleets of her mighty Empire is as fearsome in the air as she is upon the ground. Presently there are eleven air fleets, each one with a wide range of ship types, sizes and ruling personnel
1st Fleet: considered the ultimate fleet, they are presently the ones in charge of guarding the airspace above the city of Aeliyr; their direct mission is to prevent any airborne attack against the city; albeit with a greater concern for the ruling house of Alisdor.
Commander: General Iseul
Although only a single was noted, it was so noted due to importance, it is very likely this section will see an expansion, however, for now it isn’t likely. There is also a rather large navy that is part of the Aeliyrian Empire as well, smaller than the armada of the sky; it is still equally as capable of defending their expertise.
When there is turmoil on the sea, an air fleet is called in to clean up what can’t be completed by the seaward war machines.
Post #2 updated, more to come.
