    _____________ : m a g u s - v a m p i r u s :

    Skills: Quick-Study, Sleep Slacker
    Innate: Eventual Regeneration, Celerity, RageCast

    _____________ : d e f i n i t i o n s :

    Most Spells -- Die Roll:
1 ~ 2 - Usually backfires or explodes on attempt.
3 ~ 18 - Varies on the number, but ranges in minimal to average damage. 10 ~ 18 is considered average damage.
19 ~ 20 - A great success for a Chaos Mage. Attack usually multiplies in potency due to Mana Flow and grants a Fast Cast of this exact spell instantly. This resets the Fast Cast timer unless he's "lucky" enough to swing two 19-20 spell rolls in a row.

-- Catastrophic (Power Classification): Being a Chaos Mage, Mossimo is subject to immense failure, not just in life, but in casting, living, and luck as well. Nothing goes right -- which sets his power levels on a cyclic scale of insanity. A die-roll will most likely affect his combat status, with 1 being a total catastrophe upon himself, and 20 being an incredibly lucky and unfortunate attack on the enemy, which extreme power is gauged and released.

-- Spell Weaving: Being a mage in general, Mossimo is innately able to cast spells that he has learned. However not always what was intended to happen, the youth is ever-persistent in his teachings to become better.

-- Mana Flow: A self-taught ability allows his chakra and mana pools to expand and the channels within himself to grow twice their normal size in order to allow the induction of energy.

-- Healing Light: Mossimo -- being the haphazard youth that he is, on top of his poor lineage -- has been smart enough to learn how to heal minor wounds such as cuts, scraps, abrasions, burns of all sorts, and the ability to regenerate digits: fingers, toes, noses, and ears. Thank Gaia...

-- Spell Casting: The ability to generate mana or chakra and weaponize it.See Spell Weaving.

-- Devoid Barrier: By the way of his chaotic nature, Mossimo can generate barriers that are able to block and deflect most attacks because the mana used to erect the barrier, then becomes corrupted and he can no longer control it -- merely lift them to deflect or block attacks.
They last for nearly three turns and whatever touches them, whether it be psionic, magical, or physical usually becomes disrupted and decomposes as it passed through the barrier. If it's physical, there is a chance of it not decomposing, but in turn -- becoming corrupted or tainted with mana-burns, thus making it more susceptible to magical attacks.

    Die Roll:
1 - the barrier simply explodes, destroying the projectile/attack as well as creating a knockback or stun affect.
2 ~ 16 - the barrier decomposes whatever was cast through it.
17 ~ 20 - the barrier instantly slows whatever traveled through it (physical) and mana-burns it.

-- Banisher: This attack is taught to all who are from the Vesper-Cal'tinus tribe and it's very, very dangerous. Expelling all of the energy from the host's body, he tries to send his opponent away to another dimension.

    Die Roll:
1 ~ 2 - the banisher not only explodes, but teleports both parties into random locations -- possibly hundreds of miles away from where they were previously located. This will usually end battles in a draw, unless the teleported location is lethal.
    One Re-Roll:
    1 ~ 2 - mortally wounded, bad location (both parties) - Death.
    3 ~ 14 - heavily wounded, not-so-good location (both parties) - Verge.
    15 ~ 20 - minor wounds, not-so-bad location (both parties) - Livable.
3 ~ 13 - the banisher locks onto the enemy and sends him away to a not-so-good location usually with heavy wounds because of the vicious jerky and rough travel. Afterward, the barrier still explodes and does minor damage to the Vesper-Cal'tinus.
14 ~ 20 - the banisher magically works successfully. Go figure. The opponent is banished to another dimension and ends up in a bad location with mortal wounds.

-- Scatter-brained: This is a defensive tactics for Chaos Mages. Their minds are always in a blur and the energies around them always seem to get corrupted because of their wild personas or chaotic energies or unbalanced electromagnetic fields -- for whatever reason, their minds cannot be read or tampered with, unless a psion wants to corrupt his own mind and send him into a fit of insanity. Corrupting not only his own brain-waves, but also his brain -- thus making him a Chaotic Psion.

-- Blink Pool: This ability is used to quickly transport the user to a various location, by using a minimal amount of mana to launch the person via transmission electromagnetic waves. Essentially, "blinking" them to another place, in mere seconds -- even if the location is miles and miles away.

-- Fast Casting: This is the increased speed in which the user casts. Typically, fast casting allows the mage to cast twice as much as he normally would in the same amount of time, using the same about of mana as one attack. It can be used every-three attacks, giving the item or spell time to recharge.

-- Quick-Study: [MV] This unique ability allows the user to quickly and efficiently catalog information such as locations, spells, read books and other various forms of essential learning without much effort. They retain information extremely well.

-- Sleep Slacker: [MV] This unique ability allows the user to sleep less than 30 ~ 60 minutes to be fully rested. Any more than 60 minutes automatically multiples Eventual Regeration by two - exponentially, based on the hours slept. Two hours, x3, Three hours, x4.

-- Eventual Regeneration: [MV] This unique ability is as it sounds -- this however, will not come into a battle context, but over time doing nothing -- the host will heal. Walking, Sitting, Talking, etc -- they will regenerate, however during combat it is thought that the adrenaline hinders the cellular regeneration.

-- Celerity: [MV] This unique ability allows the user to drain mana to increase speed to that nearly 3x the human maximum.

-- RageCast: [MV] This unique ability allows a +5 to die rolls when angered, enraged, or any form of aggression that gets the vampire blood boiling. Hard.

    Angry My History

Well, the story that I was told as a kid goes something like this --

Long ago, roughly four generations or so ago -- we used to be Techno Mages. Whatever this means, has been lost since then and we haven't really recovered what our past history was because ... well, when we changed -- we tend to die at a young age.

The night that we changed from Techno Mages to Hell Mages, or Chaos Mages, as we're most commonly referred to -- a group of passing vampires attacked. Everyone died, save for a single vampire, one female mage, her magely husband, and their withheld child which was in the womb... my great-great-great-great grandfather, Osirus Vesper. The vampire bit the woman, but spared the man.

In her anger, she apparently went to cast a fireball and it backfired, because the vampire venom was polluting her mana channels and she nuked her husband and the vampire as well.

She was the first to be cursed, our Cursed Mother.

She barely made it to a local hospital before collapsing. Their shaman took her in and treated her fatigue, but the baby was delivered early on. Vampirism had stricken her, and the child as well, but their properties or whatever got screwed up -- she went full, and he -- only half.

Later in time, they had to take on a surname to the original because of the taint. Distant family claimed they had to, because they didn't want them to be associated with the dirty blooded mages. Thus was born Vesper-Cal'tinus, the Cursed Vesper's.

We didn't really gain any particular traits from the vampires that was most helpful, save for the ability to quickly and efficiently learn new skills and abilities without really even exerting any effort. This made us more potent and potentials for mage-jobs, however ... the tainted blood killed our mana-channels and chakra.

So -- us backfiring spells and killing ourselves seems to be history now.

We all had to split up, because having two Chaos mages in proximity of one another exerted even more negativity or bad-vibes around us. And trust me -- two unluckies don't cancel -- they multiply. Exponentially. It's bullshit, but -- now I'm family-less.

An unwanted wandered. So, I travel. I see. I do. Really whatever and avoid confrontation as much as possible, because it's always a shot in the dark as to what will happen next.
