*Welcome to The Lethal Nine. You have been chosen based on your literary performance, your fighting talent and attitude. You are not given a number or rank; we are a unified group. Our only competition is keeping our spots.
We don’t care how long you’ve been on Valucre.
Characters are of no consequence. You were chosen because no matter what character you decide to play, at any given time you rock.
We are an antagonistic guild and not lame! We agree to cause havoc throughout Valucre.
The Lethal Nine is a guild of 9 Valucre roleplayers. Valued not for how many wins or losses they have had in battle, they are valued instead more for their literary style. Great writing > phenomenal cosmic power.
Members should be able to fight regardless, and fight well. However, great extent of power does not make one Lethal Nine material, though MP and PC may both qualify.
Poor grammar and spelling disqualifies one immediately no matter what your level of power is, as well as poor attitude and behavior. We are badasses, not asses.
We will not be grammar nazis. We will not peruse over your sentences looking for mistakes. We are talking eye-gouging horror. We realize many people use incorrect grammar as a deliberate part of their writing style, and even misspell words for emphasis.
Challenges can be made to take a spot in the Lethal Nine. General challenges can be made in which any one of us can step up. Conversely, a challenge can be made to the member the challenger wishes to try and take out. To decline is allowed in consideration to real life obligations, but it is better grace to accept when one can.
Challenges are judged either by the rest of the Lethal Nine (bias not allowed) or by a judge agreed on by the competitors. Judgment is based on win/loss and level of writing. For example, you can win, but if your writing is incomprehensible, you will not be Lethal Nine. Bad attitude is automatic disqualification (but will not be confused with civilized debates).
Remember, you were chosen as being among the best. You are a top representation of Valucre. Be proud, for you have every right to be.
