    Embrace of Snow

With Rhezzo's apparent onslaught between the rogue Akuma, he underwen a transformation that even he couldn't have fathomed. The end result of that battle left a smodering campfire and a horse nearby tied to a tree. A few trees had been shreaded to bits by a weapon of some kind. Chunks of wood and refuse splayed throughout the entire area as tree's had been demolished, in an astonihing manner. Of course there were very few clues at whichto lead anyone traveling through these routes a little blood by the campfire. A few foot-prints to guide the action that had occured, all-in-all. There had been an attack but no clear victor, just shreaded clothing, battered chest-mail. Then of course the lone figure in the middle of the forrest who appeared nude beneath a tree. Where his bastard sword was impaling into it, just above where his body lay from exhaustion.

Not much to tell about him besides the well defined chest, abs, pecks, pectorals, thighs, all in all a well rounded individual. Raven-black hair adorned his head and flowed onto the ground, a scar around his lower neck-line indicated he'd been slashed there. Fairly recently if one had expert skills of deduction. Other then that there wasn't much else that could be told about the precarious situation the young man, in his mid twenties had been privy to.

It was not too odd for her feet to tread the path she had found. Something had caught her interest, a loud sound coming from this direction. It was unclear to this young woman who or what made this noise. Afterall she was treading around enjoying the silent serenity all around her until this noise interrupted her state of peace. Not that it was her nature to be curious, but this once she was a little intrigued into finding what was going on. Bare feet very gently walking this path continued to tread her further past some trees. The closer she got to "ground zero" she could smell the burning of wood, and it was not hard to tell there seemed to be some sort of confrontation between two men.... or beasts. However, as she continued Aurora would notice footprints, human footprints. Obviously someone was here, or maybe, "was", here. This did not really bother Aurora the least, only patting a few trees along her way towards her destination as it came to the final footsteps. Finally she came to a halt and for a moment... she was... baffled...

As she stood there, she looked at what was before her, a pile of burning wood, gashes upon trees and even some blood... but that was not was made her look shocked, it was the fact there was a man rested against a tree... there was no way. If something did happen here no one should be here, but then again there was not much blood. That could explain why there was not such a bloodbath here, the man was still there. That did not really answer her question to if he was even alive to begin with. She did not even notice that the man was completely naked, in fact that wasn't something she was actually paying mind to. Walking ever so carefully towards this male she stopped and looked at the sword above him. Perhaps this was his weapon? This made her wonder, but no matter she moved on forward and suddenly knealed down.

Her snow white hair fell over face for but a moment before she brushed it aside, her pale yellow eyes glimpsing over him for any signs of fatal wounds. It seemed he looked prett much ok, but then she took notice to his neck. There was a scar, but that was impossible. No way someone could survive such a wound like that and live to tell the tale. Even she, of many arts was unable to actually restore a wound this fatal, then again that was if the chord of his spine was severed. As she thought about it she shook her head. This was silly of her to think of such matters, she had to think of something to wake him up. One of her hands moved into a small pouch that hung from her side and pulled out a small vial. Within this vial of course, smelling salts to try and wake the man up. Upon opening the vial she peered in and noticed... it was empty. She must have spilt it or something.

"Of all the days I don't have it..." She stuffed the vial back into her pouch and then lifting a pale hand she began to lightly tap him upon the left cheek upon his face," Sir... can you hear me sir? Are you ok?" Of course, she suddenly realized that she forgot to even listen for a breath. She lowered her head down a little and placed it toward his chest and listened for a good moment. He had a heart beat, and could hear his breathing by lifting her ear up to his lips, "Well this is a good sign..." She spoke softly and once again began to tap his face, "Sir... wake up..."

The sun shone through the canopy in the tree-line basking them in the warmth of the sun. His heart still beat, sure maybe a little calm perhaps - after a fight like that Rhezzo was fine. The sword in question was a unique one at that, the hilt was that of twin ravens touching at the tips of their wings. The blade itself finely forged of damascus, it was a purely unique weapon for this one. A stirring came as words came to him in a su.rprising fashion, his jet-black hues opened up to the world. Looking up he could see the hazy sun and the whisps of white hair fluttering from a women. This image he figured he died and awoke in an ancestral paradise to be greeted by a goddess. Oh how fate could be ironic as to make him such a thing were possible from where he layed. A laugh came as he looked down to see himself without clothing, though no shame appeared on his face.

"If I've died and gone to heaven, you have my thanks, because you certainly pass for a goddess right now miss."

Breathing a sigh he stiffened his back upward as his eyes took in his surroundings, the forrest he'd been in last night. By the look of things, something major happened around here that made him try to remember it all. The problem was, he couldn't something was blocking those thoughts from him for the time being. His head turned toward the Ravenbrand, his sword was impaled into a tree -a crevices veining into the tree where it had been stabbed. Slowly Rhezzo's hand went toward his head as he tried his best to come to the conclusion of what transpired. Drawing blank for a second, he sighed then proceeded to try and stand up. It would seem that in fact he had little to no shame about himself standing up in front of her.

"To whom do I owe the wake up call?"

Once it became abundantly clear to him that he hadn't passed to another world. Rhezzo was certainly obliged not to have been killed by whatever may have taken his clothes. However upon inspecting the Ravenbrand, he was surprised to see a small sliver of blood on the sword. Retrieving the blade from the trunk of the tree he picked it off and slowly inspected it a little more closely. Apparently he attacked someone with the sword last night. Shaking his head, he didn't like the fact that he was engaging people one night. Then forgetting them the next, no warrior could live like that. Let alone let whoever it was make off with his clothes. Looking toward the girl he had no need to make pleasantries. No matter how nice this women seemed, he was all buisness.

"I am sorry for not introducing myself miss. My name is Rhezzo Dharrei. However as you can tell I am trying to figure out what happened last night. If you could perhaps locate my back-pack, and help me determine the clues of my engagement. I would be humbly in your debt."

Her eyes fluttered and whilst she leaned away and the light of the sun seemed to illuminate her snow white locks. His sudden words made her jump a little, but not enough to get noticed. He spoke to her and well, it was odd to hear such a thing coming from anyone. A goddess? Very unlikely, but then again while the sun was shining her hair seemed to almost have a glow to it. That in itself would make her seem angelic and not of this world. However, her head tilted to the right while she tried to determine why he would laugh at such a remark. Aurora was never good at understanding what normal people do, then again she did live most of her life in seclusion.

"I am very sure that I am no goddess..."

This man was rather... peculiar. He seemed to be just as indifferent to his own bare naked body, and well this made her all the more intrigued. Aurora would just sit there and watch his reactions, trying to figure out what could have possibly occured here. As she had not real perception of time in this place, it did not occur to her that hours had passed since she had heard the noises she had. The moment his head lifted to look upon the sword, her own head looked above as well to have a closer look upon the blade. Such an odd blade it was, nothing she had ever seen before in her life. It was such a unique sort of sword, the ravens seeming to catch her interest. Why would he have such a bird? This she did not know, and she did not care much either. It seemed as she was staring he was getting up, and she quickly followed suit. He should not be on his feet, not after seeing that scar around his neck. And his question... well it was a bit odd, but she did not pay mind to it as she suddenly waved her hands to motion him to sit.

"Nevermind that sir, you need to sit down..."

Her only reply to him came softly, it did not even seem to show a tone of panic. However, she did sound a bit worried whilst he simply began to retieve his sword like he did not even realize that he nearly had his head chopped off. While Aurora stood there and then watched as he turned to look at her she merely shook her head. This was no time for him to be looking for anything, he obviously had been harmed and yet he did not seem to notice or even remember. As much as she wanted to help this stranger, she seemed still even now more concerned for his well being.

"I am Aurora Keshou... I shall look for your bag, but you need to sit down and rest for a bit. No man should be standing up after nearly having his head chopped off..."
