In the past we attempted 100% transparency with the numbers. This resulted in some really meticulous attendance and calibration, along with the fact that it pretty much did away with the idea of anonymous donations. Our largest donation, of $180, was given to us by a member wishing to remain anonymous and I can't help but wonder the effect that listing the 180.00 has on other donators.
Instead we are opting for semi-transparency. This means you'll see our cost, what we have in surplus for each year, and we're going to have a separate article that lists any big ticket purchase items. So for example at a site (fiverr.com), we can buy some low-grade SEO jobs for five dollars. I don't want to spend the time typing that out, but it's money spent on Valucre's behalf as all donations are, but we would list the $80 dollar press release to get Valucre known out there.
Grand Total: + 443.71 (unweighted, as in not taking into account the above expenses)
VCL Grand Total: 50.00 (Keeping separate track of this since this money goes to the VCL in totality, and not to general Valucre services)
Edit: Now that we've 0'd out, and then some :), additional money will be used for Valucre SEO and, if we work our way up to enough surplus, perhaps the purchase of a custom style. The point of the matter being that this money doesn't go to staff, it will be used for Valucre's continual betterment.

1. A choice between two donator tags. Only donators may use the tag in their signature. While we at Valucre appreciate donations and <3's of any size, a donation needs to be 5$ minimum to use the tag. Much thanks to Karina (Aleksei) for doing the tag! Any member seen wearing this tag without having made an actual donation will be given a warning and their ava/sig privileges taken away for a yet undetermined amount of time.
