Inton:
The Yin Release [Inton] techniques, based on the spiritual energy that governs the imagination, can be used to create form out of nothingness. When Minato Namikaze sealed the Nine-Tailed Demon Fox into Naruto Uzumaki, he sealed the Yin half of its chakra within himself using the Dead Demon Consuming Seal. When combined with Yang Release, it allows the use of Yin-Yang Release.

Yoton:
The Yang Release [Yōton] techniques, based on the physical energy that governs vitality, can be used to breathe life into form. When Minato Namikaze sealed the Nine-Tailed Demon Fox into Naruto Uzumaki, he sealed the Yang half of its chakra within Naruto using the Eight Trigrams Sealing Style. When Naruto transformed into his controlled jinchūriki form, Yamato's Wood Release totems reacted to the Yang chakra's life-giving nature, and they transformed into full grown trees. When combined with Yin Release, it allows the use of Yin-Yang Release.

Onmyoton:
The Yin-Yang Release [Onmyōton] techniques make simultaneous use of Yin Release and Yang Release. Yin relates to one's spiritual energy and Yang relates to one's physical energy and it's necessary to utilize both of these in order to mold chakra for ninjutsu. According to Yamato, the manipulation of Yin and Yang is the source of non-elemental jutsu such as the Shadow Imitation Technique, Multi-Size Technique, medical ninjutsu, genjutsu, etc.

The Sage of the Six Paths had such a mastery over the Yin-Yang Release that he was able to create Izanagi. He used Yin to make his dreams take form, and then used Yang to make his fantasies real. He could even make them come to life. According to Madara Uchiha, the Sage used Izanagi to create the tailed beasts out of the chakra from the Ten-Tailed Beast. Nagato also had mastery of the Yin-Yang Release, as well as the other elemental releases by age 10.

_________________________IV. Kekkei Genkai/ Natural Abilities:
Sharingan
The Sharingan is the blood inheritance limit of the Uchiha Clan. This doujutsu (eye skill) gives one the ability to read Genjutsu, Taijutsu and Ninjutsu and then defeat it. As such, the clan member can view a technique being performed and almost instantly memorize the movements required to be able to complete it, including the needed chakra moldings and seals used. However the clan member cannot copy techniques that are unique to another bloodline and the clan member must have a body capable of meeting the chakra and physical requirements to do the jutsu. This rarely stops the clan member though, as such stressful situations often push their limits farther and allow them to harness their full potential.

The first of the Sharingan's powers is being able to see the flow of chakra. The Sharingan can tell if a person is under a genjutsu because the person's chakra flow would be irregular.

The Sharingan's second-most prominent ability grants the user an incredible clarity of perception, allowing them to easily recognize genjutsu and different forms of chakra, though not to the same extent as the Byakugan. This also allows the user to pick up on subtle details, enabling them to read lip movements or mimic something like pencil movements. As the Sharingan evolves, gaining more tomoe seals, this ability extends to being able to track fast-moving objects before finally giving some amount of predictive capabilities to the user. However, even though the user may be able to see an attack or know it is coming, their body may not have time to react.

The Sharingan's third and most well-known ability is that it grants the user the ability to memorize any technique that he or she witnesses, apart from other Kekkei Genkai techniques. The user can memorize ninjutsu, genjutsu, and taijutsu with near perfect accuracy, allowing the user to use the techniques as his own, or even modify them to create his own new techniques, much like Sasuke Uchiha's Lion Combo. In order to reproduce a copied jutsu, however, one must have the necessary skill or ability to perform them. A prime example is Rock Lee's brand of taijutsu. While Sasuke was able to copy some of Lee's moves, they put a much more significant strain on him since he hasn't trained nearly as much as Lee has. In addition to physical skill and kekkei genkai techniques, the Sharingan cannot reproduce jutsu dependent on other factors, such as summons that the user has not signed a contract with.

The Sharingan's final commonly-used ability is capable of inducing a unique brand of hypnosis that involves suggesting actions and thoughts to the opponent through simple eye contact. When used against animals, the eyes of the target take on the pattern of the users Sharingan while under its influence. When used in conjunction with the other aspects of the Sharingan, this allows the user to perfectly mimic every move their opponents make even before they do, making it appear as if the user can "see the future". More advanced Sharingan users can take the hypnosis ability even further by tricking or even trapping their opponent within an illusion. It also allows for other forms of hypnotism, such as putting an opponent to sleep, replaying memories to someone else, or creating various illusions to fool an opponent. The potency of the Sharingan's illusion is dependent on the user's knowledge and skill with implementing genjutsu.

In addition to these commonly used techniques, the Sharingan allows the user to perform the genjutsu Izanagi. Using Izanagi, the user can warp reality for a short amount of time, changing reality into illusion and illusion into reality. However, this technique has been dubbed kinjutsu, because use of it causes the user to go blind.

Although the Sharingan consumes the user's chakra while active, the chakra levels that the user must exert is so insignificant that they can keep it active constantly.

Blaze Release[Locked]:
An advanced chakra nature. Sasuke Uchiha uses this technique when modifying the unquenchable black flames of Amaterasu. It is unknown what this nature entails. C states that Sasuke manipulates the flames with his right Mangekyō Sharingan whereas he casts Amaterasu with his left.

Ichi-Tomoe [Mastered]:

The Uchiha clan member is not granted the Sharingan at birth; it is only activated later in life, typically during a time of emotional stress in the heat of battle. The Sharingan itself can be transferred to another non-Uchiha by a medical ninja, because one body was not born to carry the Sharingan, the eye is always activated (cannot be inactivate) and it burns chakra when used.

The Sharingan itself contains three tomoe (comma). A higher mastery of the Sharingan can be seen in the creation of a new tomoe in the eye, with three tomoe being the typical highest form of the eye.

Ni-Tomoe [Mastered]:

Two tomoe will also allow the ninja to pierce Genjutsu and see the surrounding reality for what it really is. It can also allow the member to pierce another’s body and see their chakra. While the eye is not refined enough to see the tenketsu and chakra circulatory system like the Byakugan, it can view the movement and flow of chakra. This can help them tell if a person is trapped in a Genjutsu, or if an attacker is a real threat or merely a bunshin.

San-Tomoe [Mastered]:

An eye containing three tomoe will allow the ninja to see the image of an attacker’s next move from the slightest muscle tension in their body. This prevents wasteful movement and allows the Uchiha clan member to conserve much needed chakra in battle. It allows them to synchronize their movement to strike at an area moments before their opponent is even in that spot, essentially allowing them to strike out and hit their opponent before they're even there.

Three tomoe also grants the Uchiha the ability to do Genjutsu and hypnosis after locking eyes with an enemy. This can be used to cause their opponent to do an attack of the Uchiha's choosing. This hypnosis can also be used as a Genjutsu counter, which is the ability to turn a Genjutsu spell back upon the original caster without the requirement of forming any handseals.

Mangekyou [Activated only in Resurrección]:

Sharingan is the blood inheritance limit of the Uchiha Clan. The Mangekyou Sharingan is a legendary doujutsu ability which has only emerged in a few clan members in its history. There is still mystery surrounding the eye and the Uchiha clan itself. Each user develops their own unique looking Mangekyou.

The requirements for gaining the Mangekyou are very controversial in nature. After Uchiha Itachi murdered his best friend Shisui he gained Mangekyou. He told his younger brother Sasuke that to gain the Mangekyou, he too would have to kill his closest friend. Itachi told Sasuke that a scroll in their clan shrine revealed the true original purpose of the clan doujutsu. This scroll and Itachi himself revealed that the former leader of their clan, Uchiha Madara and his younger brother Izuna were the first to obtain Mangekyou. Madara himself did this by killing his friend, it's assumed Izuna also killed a close comrade.

Usage of the Mangekyou techniques drains quite a bit of a user’s chakra, more so than any other normal technique. Also as a result of Mangekyou usage, the bearer will slowly lose their vision. Madara lost his vision before his brother and sought to regain his power. To do so he removed Izuna's eyes and made them his own. With these new eyes, his Mangekyou took on a combined appearance of his original Mangekyou and Izuna's. These "Eternal" Mangekyou eyes returned his vision and gave him unbelievable strength. With this strength it was said Madara used Sharingan's normal ability to supress the Kyuubi and tame it.

Head wear: Cloth Bandages in place of his Hitai-Ite. Around his neck is a necklace similar to the Yasakani no Magatama, made of red jade[fire], green jade[wood], blue jade[air], white jade[earth], black jade[water], and yellow jade[lightning]. It enhances the users ability to complete the elemental jutsus that are displayed, as well as increase the power by 45%.
Torso: A black sleeveless top, the sleeveless sides extend to near his waist, and is opened at the chest to reveal part of his stomach, which is wrapped in bandages. Wrapped around his waist, and extending to his knees is a black cloth, held by a purple rope tied in a knot. Over all of this, he wears a sleeveless, hooded, black mantle, that hold the Kanji "Shi" for death, which is surrounded by Tomoe similar to that of his Sharingan.
Hands: Bandages are wrapped around his wrists and forearms. Four bands, two on each wrist, display the seals for Jagei Jubaku, written in blood, and the Raiko Kenka.
Legs: He wears black, draw string shinobi pants, black Anbu shin guards.

Kuchiyose no Jutsu - Summoning Technique:
A Summoning Technique is a space-time jutsu that allows the summoner to transport animals across long distances instantly.

One method involves just hand signs and blood. With this, before an animal summoning can be performed, a prospective summoner must first sign a contract with a given species. The contract can come in the form of a scroll or a tattoo, which is signed in the contractor's own blood. After this, they need only perform the hand seals, offer an additional donation of blood, and use the same hand they signed the contract with to summon the creature. The amount of chakra used during the summoning determines how big the summoned creature can be. If a user attempts to summon an animal without first signing a contract, the user will be teleported to the home of the animal they have a natural affinity for.

An alternate form of summoning is to just use a scroll without any hand-signs. In this case hand signs are not necessary, with chakra not even being necessary sometimes. By using this method, one can summon creatures with whom one does not have a contract with.

Chakra Sensing Technique:
This technique is used by sensors to detect someone's chakra. Using this jutsu, sensors can tell when enemies are approaching, and can easily track down targets. The range of this jutsu varies between sensors.

Gentōshin no Jutsu - Magic Lantern Body Technique:
The Akatsuki members sit down and send out "thought waves", converted into chakra. These thought waves are then picked up by the Akatsuki leader, acting as a kind of control tower. This technique amplifies the thought waves and broadcasts them to a specific location through illusionary bodies. The illusionary bodies differ from being mere reflections. While Pain is relaying the members' thoughts, they can have conversation and use varying techniques.

These virtual images looked like the member they represented, the only difference being that they are standing up with their hands in a seal. The images were also transparent, save for the eyes. In the anime, the images were depicted refracting an array of spectral colors, much like a rainbow. Also their bodies would also distort and flicker, as if receiving electronic interference, and the member's voices would be altered the same way.

Throughout the series, various characters have commented on the 'feel' of a person's chakra and similar comments regarding the ability to sense high levels of chakra a little, leading to the possibility that chakra sensing is merely a more refined version of this by either teaching or being simply born more sensitive.

Kanashibari no Jutsu - Temporary Paralysis Technique
A technique for physical restraint, quite as if the opponent had been tied in invisible steel ropes. This is a basic ninjutsu usable even by Genin, but its intensity will vary greatly according to the user's level. In addition, depending on the user, the technique can be cast on every target at once, and won't fail a shinobi during his missions. This debilitates the victim for a short period of time, which allows the user to either strike again or, in some cases, take the target into custody.

Goukakyuu no Jutsu - Great Fireball Technique
Katon • Goukakyuu no Jutsu is a Ninjutsu technique utilzing the Fire Element. The ninja does the necessary hand seals, draws chakra from their mouth into their chest and them immediately exhales it. They then blow a stream of fire which erupts into a large sphere of flames. To better manage the flames the ninja will bring their hand to their mouth to control it.

Housenka no Jutsu - Mythical Fire Phoenix Technique
Katon • Housenka no Jutsu is a Ninjutsu technique utilizing the Fire Element. The ninja does the necessary hand seals and then emits a series of small fire balls. The ninja can also hurl a projectile which is covered in these same flames. To the opponent the attack appears to be only the balls of flame, they do not see the hidden threat within the flames. Meaning that even if the flames are put out, the projectiles still converge on the target. The flames can be used to cover different projectiles like shuriken or kunai.

Ryuuka no Jutsu - Dragon Fire Technique
Katon • Ryuuka no Jutsu is a Ninjutsu technique utilizing the Fire Element. After binding the opponent, the ninja uses a guide wire to unleash a large torrential fire burst onto the target.

Katon: Hōsenka no Jutsu
This technique creates small fireballs, which are spat out of the user's mouth, flying wildly in every direction and assaulting the enemy. In addition, the flames are controlled one by one with chakra, so avoiding them all is extremely difficult. Shuriken can be hid within the flames, creating an unexpected secondary surprise attack. Like the flames the shuriken can be controlled with chakra. For the most part, however, this technique is used as a distraction.

Katon: Gōryūka no Jutsu
The user compresses a large amount of chakra built up inside their body and changes it into a dragon-shaped fireball. The user then skillfully manipulates that great fire, and attacks their opponent. Even outside of the attack range, its power and reliability are stressed. The flames have a high temperature, as they can create an updraught which in turn can give rise to thunder clouds. A master of this technique can fire off several flames in succession. Anyone caught in the technique could potentially be reduced to ashes.

Chidori:
This technique channels a large amount of lightning chakra to the user's hand. The amount of chakra is so great that it becomes visible. The high concentration of electricity produces a sound reminiscent of many birds chirping, hence the name. Once the technique is completed, the user charges forward and thrusts the Chidori into the target. This produces heavy amounts of damage that is usually fatal. This technique is classified as an assassination technique because of the speed at which it is performed, despite the loud noise it produces. Chidori can also be used to simply give the opponent a large electrical shock without impaling them.

This jutsu has a major drawback, however. The speed at which the attack must be done, combined with the fact that the user must run in a straight line, causes a tunnel vision-like effect for the user. This allows the enemy to easily counter the attack, making it a potentially lethal move for the user. Though this drawback would seem to make learning the technique fairly pointless, unless the user has the Sharingan. As an additional drawback, the large amount of chakra required limits its use to a few times a day.

Chidori Nagashi - One Thousand Birds Current:
By releasing the Chidori in every direction, an electrical discharge flows from the user's entire body allowing him to affect multiple enemies. When using this attack on a great number of enemies at once, it can effectively double as an instant defense. The body of the person touched by the Chidori will misinterpret the Lightning nature as "electrical signals from the nerves," making its muscles contract. This causes the body to involuntarily go stiff, while at the same time receives damage. This will also neutralize other lightning jutsu so long as they are not more powerful. This attack can also be channeled through the ground to increase the range of the attack.

Chidori Senbon - One Thousand Chirping Birds Senbon:
This is one of many variations of the Chidori that uses shape transformation. It is specialized in more speed, by being transformed into countless sharp senbon, all aimed at the enemy. By increasing the amount of chakra used, the number of senbon also increases. It can become even more effective by using it together with the Sharingan, allowing the user to precisely shoot for the enemy's vitals.

Chidori Eisō - One Thousand Birds Sharp Spear:
The original Chidori gained its power by shaping it into a form sufficient for an electrical discharge and using it together with the user's own "thrust". This technique uses Shape Transformation to form the original Chidori into a spear-shape, adapting it for mid-range attacks with a maximum range of 10 meters. Although it's less powerful than the Chidori, its increased range means there is less of a risk to the user. It also has the advantage of being able to be used for surprise attacks and capturing. When the enemy's body is pierced the user can alter the spear's shape into multiple additional blades increasing the number of wounds. The blade can also be swung in order to cut things as well as cause fatal injuries.

Raiton no Yoroi - Lightning Release Armor:
By wrapping his body in a layer of lightning chakra, the user can electrically stimulate his nervous system and speed up his neural synapses to react faster to danger and push his physical prowess to the absolute limit, allowing him to gain tremendous raw speed and monstrous power. This armor, combined with taijutsu, allows the user to utilize nintaijutsu.

While using this technique, one's reflexes are comparable to that of Konoha's Yellow Flash, making it difficult, if not impossible, even for the Sharingan to keep up with him. By combining this armor with the Body Flicker Technique, he can even dodge Amaterasu at a split second, and even blasts at close range. The armor also increases his defense, drastically reducing, if not completely negating, damage from incoming attacks as even a direct Chidori would barely be able to pierce his chest. In addition, the armor seems to increase his strength, though this could be part of his own natural abilities.

Raikiri: The Lightning Cutter is an enhanced form of the Chidori with the same effects and drawbacks, but more concentrated. It is said to have gained its name after Kakashi split a bolt of lightning with it. Because the Chidori is already powerful on its own, the Lightning Cutter requires better chakra control, which is exemplified in its appearance. The Chidori appears as simply a mass of white electrical chakra in the user's hand, while the Lightning Cutter is more focused and blue.

Kirin:
The user draws lightning directly from thunder clouds to supplement the power of his or her strike and controls it with Chakra. Due to the technique using natural lightning, which travels at 1/1000th of a second, it is one of the most powerful lightning techniques. However, the preparation time required also decreases the technique's efficiency; if there are no active thunder clouds the user must create them by using Fire Release: Great Dragon Fire Technique or other such techniques to produce the necessary storm conditions.

Once a lightning source has been acquired, shaping and guiding the lightning to the target requires very little chakra. In addition, usage seems to destroy the thunder clouds as the sky cleared up of clouds after use. As such, this technique can only be used once in a fight. However, the blast was strong enough to completely annihilate a mountain.

Jagei Jubaku - Snake Authority Spell:
The user summons two big snakes which crawl out from one's sleeves, and coil around the enemy capturing them. This is a great technique for capturing someone alive, or for inflicting damage by constriction, and if the situation calls for it, the snakes can bite the victim with their poison fangs. With the summons specified beforehand, the procedure can be shortened by using blood on a summoning "contract seal" (結印, ketsuin), making it possible to use the technique immediately. The further addition of the user's murderous intent can weaken their target's resolve.

Snakes summoned by this technique are on a whole other level in terms of intelligence and strength, compared to normal summons. It is said that even shinobi with great skill are unable to escape from this restraint. The snakes summoned by Mikami are black, and their scales hold the strength equivalent to to steel.

Amaterasu - Goddess of the Sun:
Amaterasu, named for the Goddess of the Sun, is a Ninjutsu technique which uses the Mangekyou form of the Sharingan eye to create a powerful black fire. This jutsu is generated by the right Mangekyou eye. It has been said that anything within the Mangekyou's vision will burn to ash if consumed by the fire. The fire itself is said to burn for 7 days and 7 nights. Because of the amount of chakra needed to use the technique, it can only be used on a very limited basis daily. Though it is regarded as the strongest of Mangekyou's physical attacks, usage of the ability will degrade the eye further and lead the user to blindness.

Enton: Kagutsuchi - Blaze Release: Added Tool Earth Lord:
This technique applies Shape Transformation the inextinguishable black flames of Amaterasu into a spiked barrier that not only shields the user, but also burns and pierces the opponent if they touch them. While the flames of Amaterasu are cast from his left eye, this technique is controlled through his right eye.

Amaterasu no Tate - Shield of Amaterasu:
By coating the bones of Susanoo in the flames of Amterasu, it creates a shield that will ignite anyone who touches them.

Susanoo - God of the Sea and Storms:
Susanoo, named for the God of the Sea and Storms, is a technique which uses the Mangekyou form of the Sharingan eye to create a sword wielding spectral form which will surround the user. This jutsu is generated by both Mangekyou eyes. Susanoo will first form around the user as a skeleton. This skeletal form will then generate muscle and armor for battle and wield both a sword and shield.

The sword is formed out of the sake in the gourd it holds, meaning the sword has no true physical form. This legendary weapon, known as Totsuka's Sword and the Sakegari (Sake Cutting) Long Sword, utilizes the main ability of the jutsu. Anyone or anything cut by the blade will be sealed away into a Genjutsu of blissful oblivion until the end of time. It is said the sword is thus the ultimate counter to the Kusanagi Sword. The shield is known as Yata's Mirror. It is said this shield can defend against any attack. Together the sword and shield will make the Susanoo user nearly invincible. Like other Mangekyou techniques, usage of Susanoo will damages the eyes and health of the user.

_____________________ VII. Kinjutsu:
Izanagi:
Izanagi is a dōjutsu that has the power to connect illusion and reality, which the Uchiha clan deemed forbidden due to the terrible consequences of its use: The loss of one of the user's Sharingan.

Izanagi is a genjutsu that's meant to be cast on oneself instead of others, and it's the most powerful among them. When activated, the caster removes the boundaries between reality and illusion within their personal space. To a degree, this allows the user to control their own state of existence. The actual effects of Izanagi vary from user to user, dependent on their level of dominance over the required bloodlines, but all seem to involve the ability to deem negative events an illusion and positive events a reality, in regard to themselves.

When Izanagi is activated, it is capable of turning injuries and even death inflicted upon the user into mere illusions. Whenever the user receives a fatal injury, he fades away as a genjutsu, and then returns back to reality, physically real and unscathed.

Nehan Shouja no Jutsu - Temple of Nirvana Technique - Nehan Shouja no Jutsu is a Genjutsu technique that allows the caster to place a large body of people into a unconscious state. The target can avoid the spell by forming and using the dispel skill.

Kokuangyou no Jutsu - Journey into Black Darkness Technique -
Kokuangyou no Jutsu is a Genjutsu technique which causes the ninja's opponent to be enveloped in total darkness. While in the black void, the ninja will be unable to see any incoming attack or threat.

Magen: Narakumi no Jutsu - Demonic Illusion: Hell Viewing Technique
This is a genjutsu that reveals the fears that dwell inside people's hearts. Everyone has an image of the one thing they wouldn't want to ever see. This genjutsu is a technique that draws forth such an image from within the heart and has one mistake it for reality. First, an imaginary circle of leaves will spin around and envelop the target, falling away shortly after. After a short period, the illusion will begin. This is to make the illusion more convincing, since the user will likely have moved before the illusion sets in. If the mental image is a gruesome one, the shock will be accordingly great.

Magen: Jigoku Kōka no Jutsu - Demonic Illusion: Descending Hell Technique
This jutsu causes the illusion of a tremendous ball of fire falling from the sky into a designated area. Anyone in the area will instinctively flee.

Tsukuyomi - God of the Moon:
Tsukuyomi, named for the God of the Moon, is a Genjutsu technique which uses the Mangekyou form of the Sharingan eye to generate a powerful illusion. This jutsu is generated by the left Mangekyou eye. This highly advanced technique can not be used extensively because of the toll it places on the user. To utilize the illusion, the clan member will look into the eyes of his opponent and cast a Genjutsu spell on them. The illusion takes place in the mind of the one affected, while under the jutsu the victim is at the total mercy of the user. The user has full control over space and time in the jutsu and can place the one affected through any hell they desire for any length desired. The technique itself only lasts for but a second in reality, but the one affected could have lasted through several days of torture.

It is said only a natural born member of the Uchiha Clan can overcome the illusion. To counter the technique, however, Mangekyou is not required. A highly trained normal Sharingan user can break the illusion, causing the Mangekyou user to experience additional weakness from using it.


_________________________ IX: Fūinjutsu:
Generic Sealing Technique:
This technique is a standard ninja skill which allows a ninja to summon an assortment of items that have been stored using fūinjutsu. Scrolls are the most common choice for item storage. When needed, the owner will activate the seals releasing their item or weapon of choice. Scrolls can also be used as ammunition for other weapons or have other seals inside of them, which expands the number of potential tricks a shinobi can use. The items themselves are unaffected by time.

Weapons are the most commonly sealed objects, with puppet jutsu also using this by having these hidden inside various compartments as a means of increasing their own killing potential as well as hiding useful weapons from the opponent's sight.

Ninjutsu can also be stored in scrolls, to be released when the scroll is opened. In the manga, this is done with the Water Prison Technique can be stored in a scroll. Since this technique did not require the chakra or the will of the one holding it, and since the one who made it was dead, it was used effectively as a trap, immobilizing anyone that tries to read the scroll's contents.

Kuchiyose: Raikō Kenka - Summoning: Lightning Blade Creation:
This is a special "ninja tool summon" that allows the user to seal ninja tools like swords or kunai into a scroll or their clothes beforehand, allowing them to be called upon when needed. The ninja tools can be summoned in an instant just by touching the sealing "marks" which can be drawn anywhere. The greatest advantage of this technique is that the time between taking out a ninja tool, taking the right stance and actually throwing it is greatly reduced. Also when a weapon such as a Fūma Shuriken is summoned, the time needed to throw it can be further shortened by having prepared the weapon in fully extended form beforehand.

The ninja tools are thrown with the actual speed of a "flash of lightning", ruining the opponent's outset of the battle, and snatching away the initiative. Furthermore, because the summonable ninja tools can remain hidden until right before they are used, if this technique is mastered, there are an exceptional number of possible tactics.

Time-Release Technique:
By placing a mark on a person in a ritualistic method, this technique will activate as timed even if the person is tortured or put under a trance. This is meant to catch an enemy when their guard is down. This is used as a last resort technique by the ANBU, and as such, is rare.

Fūjutsu Kyūin - Blocking Technique Absorption Seal:
A highly advanced sealing technique that is capable of absorbing any chakra, regardless of any shape or nature transformation, and dispersing it within one's body by spinning the chakra within one's body in the opposite direction. As a result, this technique can absorb any ninjutsu based technique, regardless of power, without harming the user.

Should the user get close enough to grab the opponent, the barrier can absorb chakra right out of an individual's body, effectively draining them (similar to the Chakra Absorption Technique).

Chakra Enhanced Strength:
This is a jutsu in which the user focuses precise chakra control into their hands or feet and releases it with pinpoint timing, which greatly enhances their strength.

Gōken:
It is the exact opposite of Gentle Fist which is used mainly by the Hyūga clan. This style of fighting involves smashing your opponent and is generally used only by extremely physically powerful and dominating shinobi.

Kenjutsu:
Meaning "the art of the sword" is a term for classical Japanese sword arts (or koryū), in particular those which predate the Meiji Restoration. It is sometimes used more generally to describe any martial art which makes use of the Japanese sword.

Battojutsu:
Is a Japanese term meaning techniques for engaging a sword. It is often used interchangeably with the terms iaijutsu, battōdō, or iaidō, although each term does have nuances in the Japanese language and different schools of Japanese martial arts may use them to differentiate between techniques (e.g. standing or sitting techniques). The emphasis of training in battōjutsu is on cutting with the sword. All terms are somewhat more specific than kenjutsu (sword techniques) or kendō (the Way of the sword) , as the latter two refer mostly to techniques where the sword is already out of its scabbard (saya) and is therefore engaged in combat.

Master Zanjutsu Specialist- Swordsmanship:
Is the most used form of combat among Shinigami. As the name suggests, it involves using a Zanpakutō and its various special abilities to attack an opponent. In addition to its basic form, each Zanpakutō has two enhanced forms: Shikai (始解, Initial Release) and Bankai (卍解, Final Release), which change the sword's form to unlock its potential and that of its user.

As Arrancar also possess a form of "Zanpakutō", the skill to wield one is similar to that of a Shinigami. Like a normal Shinigami's Zanpakutō, in addition to its basic form, its release allows the Arrancar another form termed Resurrección, which unlocks the sealed Hollow form of the wielder. While others may maintain any level of skill in swordsmanship Zanjutsu is exclusive to Shinigami.

Contains a massive amount, rivaling that of most high level captains.

Fear:
Reiatsu at its most basic level can instill fear in others when it is very high (in comparison to the one feeling it). Willpower is the simplest way to fight this method.

Stunning:
High level of spiritual power can cause those of lower power to be stunned by simply being in the presence of a high level spiritual being.

Paralysis:
When a Spiritual being of high reiatsu chooses to they can paralyze an opponent just by focusing pressure through their stare.

Phantom Pain:
High level of spiritual pressure can make an opponent feel as though they are being attacked though nothing is physically happening to them.

Defensive use:
When two spiritual beings collide, the side with weaker spiritual pressure will get hurt. (Ex: When Ichigo Kurosaki fights Kenpachi Zaraki, the captain opened up the chest area of his Shihakushō, and ordered Ichigo to cut him. When attacking with all his strength, Ichigo found Kenpachi uninjured, while his own hands were bleeding. As his sword that is highly concentrated for the purpose of killing, the spiritual pressure that Kenpachi subconsciously releases is much, much stronger). With sufficient enough power, Shinigami can use their own reiatsu to harden their skin, and effectively protect themselves from attacks.

Offensive use:
Damage: Most Captain levels are able to damage other weaker level enemies with the sheer amount of Reiatsu.

Killing: In high enough quantities, spiritual pressure can be lethal to others.

_________________________ XII Arrancar Abilities:

Bala:
Bala is an Arrancar alternative to Cero. The technique hardens the user's Spiritual Pressure and fires it like a bullet. Although it is weaker than a normal Cero, it moves about twenty times faster and can be fired at a much higher rate, but the damage is much the same. Stronger Arrancar can also fire a more powerful Bala, while retaining its twenty-fold speed.

Cero[Crimson]:
Cero are high-powered energy blasts that can be fired from various body parts, such as mouth, tongue, hand or fingers. Only Gillians, Adjuchas, Arrancar, and the Visored have so far been shown to use Cero attacks, and it appears that stronger entities can use it more efficiently. Various Arrancar and Hollow characters display variants of the technique, such as the Espada-exclusive Gran Rey Cero.

Gran Rey Cero[Crimson]:
A Cero that only Espada are allowed to use. It is performed by mixing an Arrancar's own blood with the Cero. The result is a Cero with a much greater attack power and speed as well as a change of color unique to the Espada. It is also many times more powerful than a normal Cero, capable of disturbing the fabric of space, it also seems to spin like a razor upon release as it compresses and decompresses due to the sheer speed and raw power. It is a drastically potent Cero, used only by the Espada themselves.

Cero Oscuras [Black with a crimson outline]:
A black Cero used by Ulquiorra Cifer in his Resurrección form. He also compares it to Ichigo's black Getsuga Tenshō. It covers any exposed light into pitch darkness. Though the only Espada shown to utilize this technique so far, Ulquiorra told Ichigo that, "This is an Espada's fully powered Black Cero." Ulquiorra also referred to it as "our Cero." The Cero Oscuras' range is vast, and its attack power is massive. It is powerful enough to shatter Ichigo Kurosaki's entire Hollow mask and critically injure him in the process. It is strong enough to destroy half of the dome over Las Noches. The superior Cero Oscuras is far greater than an average Cero.

Sonído:
A technique used by Arrancar which allows them to move at extreme speeds, making it highly similar to the Hohō that Shinigami use. While somewhat similar to Hohō, Sonído appears to be more instinctual than Hohō, requiring no previous knowledge to perform. It also makes a different sound; rather than the swishing or sometimes silent Flash Step of the Shinigami, Sonído makes a booming or static sound.

Hierro:
An Arrancar technique in which the user's reiryoku condenses, creating a steel-hard skin strong enough to block a Zanpakutō. This also allows them to fight some of the sword-wielding Shinigami barehanded. The strength of Arrancars' Hierro depends on their spiritual power.

Enhanced Strength: Mikami is exceptionally strong, even among Arrancar, he is able to crust solid stone.

Enhanced Pesquisa: The Arrancar ability to sense spiritual energy. While any Arrancar can learn it, Ulquiorra has shown impressive skill with it. From a single glance at his opponent, Mikami can immediately determine how powerful his opponent is. He is also able to comprehend the flow and concentration of the person's energy.

Chōsoku Saisei - High-Speed Regeneration:
A supplementary ability possessed by many Hollows, as well as some Shinigami that have undergone Hollowfication. It allows them to recover from any damage that they sustain by causing them to heal at an increased rate, closing the wounds on their body and causing any limbs that they have lost to grow back. Despite the many benefits that it provides, most Hollows choose to abandon the ability to regenerate when they become Arrancar, in exchange for a greater amount of power. Regardless, when Arrancar use their Resurrección, their wounds heal away instantly. While high-speed regeneration is indeed a powerful ability, it is not without its flaws. Despite the extent to which it can heal the body, internal organs such as the brain cannot be regenerated; if such irreparable damage is sustained, the rest of the body can continue to regenerate, though to no avail. In addition, if the body is damaged before it has the chance to heal, or if enough damage is inflicted on it at once, then it can be destroyed.

Weapon Design:
A Chokutō with a black blade, and a dark gray handle and sheath. It his double edged, completely on the front side and half way down on the back of the blade. It's total length is 25 inches.

Resurrección Form:
In his Resurrección form, Mikami's skin turn solid black, his fingernails gain a sharper more claw like appearance, and are black as well. He grows a very long and thin but powerful tail which is capable of being used as a weapon or to lift and strangle a victim. From his back sprout two large, black, bat like wings, that can stretch out to twenty feet, five inches. From his skull sprout two Ebony horns. The sclera of his eyes turn slate gray, and the Mangekyou Sharingan is activated, however, only in this form.

Kidō - Demon Way - Spirit Way:
The technique that Shinigami use to focus their Spiritual Energy into a wide variety of magic spells that can serve many purposes, such as healing, defense, or combat. According to Sōsuke Aizen, is one of the four basic Shinigami combat forms.

This weakness can be negated by Shinigami capable of using Eishōhaki "Incantation Abandonment", a technique that releases Kidō without a spirit chant. While it decreases the time needed to release the Kidō, it drastically weakens the spell. While anyone well versed in Kidō can use this technique, it is most effective when done by a skilled practitioner, otherwise the spell could utterly fail. The most skilled experts are capable of using this technique to amazing effect.

Bakudō - Way of Binding:
These are a broad category of defensive spells which block/repel attacks or freezes enemies in place.

Hadō - Way of Destruction:
These are offensive spells which harm an enemy or cause damage to objects.

Seki - Repulse:
Creates a round shield that seems to temporarily paralyze and repel whatever strikes it.

Geki - Strike:
Engulfs the target in red light, completely paralyzing them.
Incantation: "Disintegrate, you black dog of Rondanini!! Look upon yourself with horror and then claw out your own throat!"

Sekienton - Red Smoke Escape:
Creates a blast of red smoke upon activation and is used like a ninja's smoke bomb.

Enkosen - Arc Shield:
Summons a shield of condensed reiatsu to block opponents' attacks.

Kakushitsuijaku - Summoning of the Tracking Sparrows:
Tracks and locates any spiritual force the user focuses on. To activate it, the user must draw a circle on the ground, cut into four parts with a specific character in each. The incantation animates the circle, causing various numbers to appear within until the specific set is found. The number set seems to be a variation on longitude and latitude.
Incantation: "Heart of the south, eye of the north, finger of the west, foot of the east, arrive with the wind and depart with the rain."

Rikujōkōrō - Six Rods Prison of Light:
Summons six thin, wide beams of light that slam into a target's midsection, holding them in place. The target is then unable to move any part of their body including the parts that were not struck by the beams.
Incantation: "Carriage of Thunder. Bridge of a spinning wheel. With light, divide this into six!"

Hyapporankan - Hundred Steps Fence:
A rod formed of energy is thrown towards the target before it disintegrates into numerous short rods which are used to pin the target to the surroundings and render them immobile.[22]

Danku - Splitting Void:
eates an energy barrier in the form of a rectangular wall. It is capable of stopping destructive spells up to #89.

Sōkatsui - Blue Fire, Crash Down:
Fires a burst of blue spiritual energy at a target in a similar manner to Shakkahō, but over a wider area and with more power.
Incantation: "Ye lord! Mask of flesh and bone, flutter of wings, ye who bears the name of Man! Truth and temperance, upon this sinless wall of dreams unleash but slightly the wrath of your claws."

Haien - Abolishing Flames:
Fires a blast of purple spiritual energy that will incinerate a target completely when it makes contact.

Raikōhō - Thunder Roar Sear:
Fires a massive wave of yellow energy at a target.
Incantation: "Sprinkled on the bones of the beast! Sharp tower, red crystal, steel ring. Move and become the wind, stop and become the calm. The sound of warring spears fills the empty castle!"

Sōren Sōkatsui - Twin Lotus Blue Fire, Crash Down:
Essentially a doubled version of Sōkatsui, this spell fires two shots of blue fire with greater potency than the single-shot variety.
Incantation: "Ye lord! Mask of blood and flesh, all creation, flutter of wings, ye who bears the name of Man! On the wall of blue flame, inscribe a twin lotus. In the abyss of conflagration, wait at the far heavens."

Hiryugekizokushintenraiho - Flying Dragon-Striking Heaven-Shaking Thunder Cannon:
Fires a gigantic electricity blast of spiritual energy resulting in a truly enormous explosion.

Kurohitsugi - Black Coffin:
Envelops the target with a powerful torrent of gravity that takes the form of a box of black energy, covered in several spear-like protrusions. The spears then pierce the box, lacerating the one inside from head to toe.
Incantation: "Seeping crest of turbidity, arrogant vessel of lunacy. Boil forth and deny, grow numb and flicker, disrupting sleep. Crawling queen of iron, eternally self-destructing doll of mud. Unite, repulse. Fill with soil and know your own powerlessness."

Senjū Kōten Taihō - Thousand-Hand Bright Heaven Culling-Sear:
ummons several spears of light that are all fired towards the same focal point where the intended target resides. The culminating explosion is exceedingly devastating.
Incantation: "Limit of the thousands hands, respectful hands, unable to touch the darkness. Shooting hands unable to reflect the blue sky. The road that basks in light, the wind that ignited the embers, time that gathers when both are together, there is no need to be hesitant, obey my orders. Light bullets, eight bodies, nine items, book of heaven, diseased treasure, great wheel, grey fortress tower. Aim far away, scatter brightly and cleanly when fired"

Ittō Kasō - Single Blade Cremation:
A spell that causes a huge pillar of fire to erupt from the ground in the shape of a Katana's tip. It is a forbidden technique that can only be activated by using one's own body as a catalyst.

Garganta - "Throat" - "Black Cavity":
It literally tears open the dimensional fabric separating the worlds, revealing a tunnel of whirling, torrential energy that must be focused and solidified to create a discernible pathway.
Incantation: "My right hand is the stone that bridges worlds. My left hand is the blade that binds reality. The black-haired shepherd is hung from a chair. Stratus clouds come, and I strike down the ibis."
