  1. Past hour
  2. Priscilla looked to the storm outside. It was fairly dark out and there were still low rumbles in the distance of thunder. She would nod, accepting his hand and followed him to the hallway. It would be nice to have some alone time with him other than studying and training. She laced her fingers with his as they walked. "It's kind of nice to have some alone time...Did you want to hang out a little bit before bed?"She asked.
  3. I was only able to pump out one post today due to work shenanigans so the Ancient One quest is up first. Tomorrow the Ulway should be up as well. @Sanonymous @ticklefarte @HollowCipher Below is the link to the post.
  4. “We are perfectly capable of handling this on our own without any foreign involvement my king.” “Yes. I know. But if we are going to coexist with any of the people outside of these islands, this is necessary.” Luz looked visibly concerned about the prospect of introducing something or someone she could not fully control into any endeavor she wished to pursue. She tried to come up with some other sort of counter argument that would sound cooperative to her Light’s cause but she could think of nothing that would not garner some sort of admonishment. So with heavy head and shoulders somewhat slumped in resignation, she responded. “I will begin preparing now then my Light.” Luz began barking orders to the group of men and women tasked with preparing the same vessel they had used to confront the Black Queen weeks ago. Many executed their tasks hurriedly as if in fear of the repercussions should their steps falter. The infamy of the leader of the Scientific Division drove them toward perfection and she did nothing to squander this ability she had earned ever since she was gifted her position. She stood upon the crystalline vessel, conveniently docked in a pocket governed by La’Ruta’s presence. Weeks of study had allowed them to modify and innovate to create magical magnets capable of manipulating the magic in the air for use in propulsion and charge some of their weaponry. It was a crude start to their ability to make use all of the new things around them. The specific spot she chose to begin these preparations was strategic, well on the outskirts of the city on the eastern side of the Ceyana island. Word had been sent to those looking for employment that experienced explorers were requested to chase after what had been presented as a mythical beast though Illyrians knew better thanks to their monitoring equipment and the data provided by some elderly Orisians. She wasn’t expecting this realm to offer much of anything she could use, however, deciding to make sure her people were ready before even entertaining the idea of moving out onto the open area of the docks that those who arrived would be led to and confined to upon arrival. Guards would scrutinize all weaponry, using analytical scanners that would be attempting to find any magical components as well as identify each weapon and its owner. The excuse presented would be that it would help the leader of the expedition utilize their skills to the fullest but in truth it was simply to keep track of each foreign insertion into an expedition that Luz fully believed she didn’t need any of them for. Luz would be seen in the distance, ensuring that supplies were boarded and yelling at those she felt were dragging their heels. All non-Illyrian entrants would feel several eyes fall upon them, most with mild curiosity but some with a burning scrutiny that they did not hide at all. The din of the daily events at the docks did not relent though, as several merchants called out to anyone around to look at their wares and others tended to their own private vessels. A salty mist mingled with the sticky humidity around them, visibly annoying the Illyrians around them as several muttered comments about the ‘Orisian remnants’ and how they couldn’t wait to go back home. Several personnel nearby clearly felt the same way which didn’t make their first call for the visitors all that pleasant. “If anyone is here to join Ms. Yllende on her expedition, raise your hands or get on with your business’
  5. Audibly groaning, Luis hated the idea of further physical training. He wasn't very good at it, but he would give it his best if it meant improving his spellcraft. Without much of another word, Luis looked over the papers, nodding at the requirements of advancing. "Sounds like a plan." He said with a coy smile towards Priscilla. She would be his greatest competition, and he wanted to prove himself as a worthy adversary for her as well. "Looks like it's getting late. I'll walk you to your room, Priscilla, if that's okay with you." He said, offering her his hand.

    Is Valucre Flat?

Horizon. Or four gargantuan elephants atop a collosal space turtle carrying the disc through space as it searches for a mate that would cause the apocalypse scholars entitled.... The big bang.
  8. Time to float...I mean post. 😅

  9. Expect a big post tonight. I am going to try to give everyone a little screen time. ❤️
  10. Primitive spheroidal thinking. Rounders don't even know how water works. How can anyone believe them? 🙄
  11. Can confirm Valucre is round. One of my character's actually flew on a ship from another planet to Valucre. Three more characters of mine also teleported onto the planet in random locations. Also another note: If a planet were to ever be flat, water probably wouldn't exist that long seeing as it would eventually flow off the edges unless it had a way to be held into the boundaries of the 'planet'. Unless the edge of the planet has an infinite waterfall system where the water comes back after flowing off. In short, if planets could be flat then any ocean water would be gone.
  12. Imagine a Valucre-wide war where nations are fighting because RPers are disagreeing because of this thread. I'm laughing too hard at the idea.
  13. How many pages do I need to canonize the truth of flat Valucre and get you to stop lying? 😡
  15. Then we will try to survive. Remember us if the worst happens.
  16. As he figured, the dragon woman let loose a large fire ball straight at him, but he was not comcerned. At just the right moment, he made a jump for it, his legs pushing him upwards with the incredible power afforded him by his psychic potential. With the perfect amount of lift, he was not only able to clear the fire ball, but was able to come down right on top of Nocturna, sword ready for a devastating downwards thrust. Gift me this strength, the Strength of Champions! If it was successful, the dragon was sure to die, pierced so completely by the sheer strength of the attack that it was likely to go down her body completely. Victory required bold actions, and this was no exception.
  17. As of right now the VCF main strike team is entrapped within the laboratory, 2 man down out of 6. VCF backup won't arrive till after the gate shuts, so sadly you're on your own 😅😅
  18. The audacity. For you to imply that the lives of those patrons of the Solarium are less important right now is highly offensive. How could you? Nah, but he's right. Haha, take your time. I'm just waiting for the vines to move around enough for my group to notice them, and I didn't know if we could really RP them without you so I'll just sit tight. @Pasion Pasiva Unless... @Sanonymous if you want you can have some VCF soldiers look for other civilians in the Solarium. I assume the queen is the only priority, but I saw that Pliskin was alone so maybe he'll notice my group. Just a suggestion.
  19. Vito watched Nikolai kicked down the doors, followed by Chad quickly charging down the guards and massacring them. Blood splattered, painting the hallway red. The raider would rather have used different non-lethal methods, but he wouldn’t judge how another criminal chooses to perform their craft. It wasn’t long till the kill machine stormed down the hallway, screaming something about appointments. With the robot distracted and civilians under control, Vito jumped behind the desk and began looking for information. Unfortunately, there wasn’t much of great interest. Other than one, an appointment sheet. Sneaking his name down, using a name from his forged ID card, Vito gave himself a quick appointment. ‘There we go, now I have to go and attend my meeting.’ Strolling down the corridor, he looted a security card off one of the corpses and strolled past the battle with the death machine. Unlocking the gift shop, he entered and was presented with two guards. The first one stood right round the corner, gun raised. Second one shook on the opposite side by the door, clearly new to the job. Vito sent Floki sprinting straight in, heading towards the second guard. The first guards gun followed his mount, in this distracted state Vito threw a knife at his foot. As it penetrated the guard knelt in pain, the raider brought raised the butt of his spear and knocked him unconscious. Floki weaved and zigzagged through the shelving, slamming into the second guard and sending him flying. He lay on the floor, curled up in pain. He followed the same procedure of moving, or dragging, everyone into the center of the room and tying them up. “Okay, that’s this area secure. Time to do some shopping.” Vito presented to walk around the shop, grabbing random niknaks and stowing them in his pouch. He put on a Mausoleum branded cap on, then tied a Mausoleum branded stuffed bear to his belt. Walking to the counter, he tried conversing with the crying cashier but found he was to scared. Placing a stack of gold coins on the counter, Vito left to go meet up with the others. Walking into the cafeteria, he was met with all eyes on Nikolai. “I secured another location.”
  20. Everything about the dragon brought about painful memories to the redhead, those of her Arkanist persona. His amber glowing eyes, his massive fangs, his gigantic scales. He was all but the dragon except male and slightly bigger. Still, if there was a merit to it, this made her used to dealing with one. However, his personality seemed to differ. This legendary creature was referring to the tiny fire elemental by a painfully ironic moniker, especially coming from someone like himself. Unless, he did use it ironically. She kept eye contact up until his tongue went over to lick Landon. The redhead whipped her head to check if he’s okay. Oh, he’d be alright... but pissed? Most likely. Next, it was her turn to be literally tasted. ”Hey...! Gah...!” Damn it, how was she going to wash all these?! Her fashion concern was immediately snuffed out when the dragon’s words started to be genuinely threatening. Akni simply stared, deadpan, then sighed. First, he wasn’t Arkanalandis. Second, he didn’t even so much entertain the thought about ancestorship. Third, he was only thinking about food. How stereotypically accurate. Oh well, she didn’t want to be related to him if her ancestor was basically just a freeloader bum of a giant lizard. She wasn’t angry, she was just... disappointed. “No thanks.” Akni shrugged as she leapt to Landon, transforming into her half-dragon self in mid-air. She landed near him, grabbed him, then swiftly flew up back toward where they came from. They were done here.
  21. Give me reasons we should be complete You should be with him I can't compete You looked at me like I was someone else... Oh well....
