  1. Valentine gasped, in awe, as she watched the workers place the new weapon on top of the prototype. It was a magnificent sight to behold. "Now that will blow your hair back. Where did you even get that?" she asked as she turned to Hawk. @Hawk
  2. Valentine moved over to her first command, standing adjacent to him. "Everyone on this team is moving so swiftly. I have no doubt we can finish the prototype by the end of the hour. Is this what you had hoped for?" she asked as she turned to look at him, her demeanor calm and collected. @Hawk
  3. Valentine nodded, looking at the frame. "The blueprints look great. Let's keep it moving." She turned to look at everyone in the room. "Let's get to work boys!" For the next few hours she moved throughout the room, observing and asking the workers questions as they followed her orders. Her goal was to complete the first prototype with the first frame before they completely destroyed the others, that way they would have less work to do if this first frame didn't work out. She felt bad about leaving Ryder in the dust. She knew this wasn't his thing. However, she couldn't help but laugh a little bit at the sight of him. He looked completely bewildered and confused as everyone worked around him. It was nice to see him again. It had been a couple years since she had last saw him. After her regrettable couple year experience, she took assignments away from the hustle of the base. Anything she could do to get away. But now she was back, and loving it. @Hawk
  4. Valentine took a moment to take in her surroundings as she made her way to the table in the center of the room. She was proud of what they had accomplished thus far. She nodded at some task force members as their eyes met hers, which caused a few of them to look away quickly. She chuckled to herself at their awkward display. She looked down as her echoing footsteps came to a stop; the table before her. She quickly scanned the blueprints and boards. Her memory was...unique. One look and it all was locked into her brain, like downloading files on a hard drive so you could access them later. "I say we continue to strip all the vehicles for parts so we can see what we have here." Her voice boomed off the walls as she turned to look at Hawk. "How much gasoline do we have available?" @Hawk
  5. Valentine nodded, turning to follow him. She was looking forward to this. A new start. @Hawk
  6. Valentine sighed impatiently. It had been so long since she had worked on something meaningful. "I'm sorry, I'm just so anxious to get to work. You won't believe how long it's been since I worked on something semi-normal? A long ass time. And with someone I actually like?" She scoffed, throwing her hands in the air playfully. "It's a God given miracle." @Hawk
  7. She rolled her eyes at his lack of knowledge of automobiles. "Well, let's go inside and get started." She began to walk away from the caravan, but paused, turning to look at him behind her. "Are you coming or not?" @Hawk
  8. Valentine shook his hand, her smirk morphing into a look of discomfort. "You know I hate riding in those things. Why couldn't I have rode a horse? My back feels like it's broken." She released the grip on his hand and attempted to crack her back, but it failed. She sighed. "You owe me for that." @Hawk
  9. Valentine felt her bones ache as the armored carriage came to a halt. This 13 hour trek had felt like a lifetime. She exited the vehicle, feeling the dirt beneath her boots. She hated long rides in those "things". The quarters were extremely small. How could anyone sit in such a state? Nonetheless, when Ryder Hawk called you in, you left as soon as possible. He was lucky that they were so close. She preferred the open road, with the wind in her hair and her weapon at her side. Not in some dingy box with wheels. She groaned as she stretched, feeling her bones crack back into place. As she stood upright, her eyes met with a familiar face. The corner of her lips turned upright into a small smirk. "Good to see you, cousin." @Hawk
