Just saw the updates on everything! As of right now I'm not too sure if I'm going to move to the new site or not. I'm still going through a freight-train of mental/emotional stuff right now, and as with some others here, I've also been through this site-shift thing with other boards and it's a fairly alienating thing for me, sadly. However, I'm keeping the old and new sites bookmarked just in case I feel better enough later on to give it a go. I'm sincerely sorry to everyone who had threads with me here -- I didn't see this proverbial freight train coming, so I got just as blindsided as my threading partners probably did with my sudden disappearance, but I still feel I've let people down. I really, genuinely enjoyed y'all's talent, and for the few posts I did make and the few interactions I did have, I had a ton of fun. 

Godspeed, friends, perhaps our paths will cross again.

Of course once I'm back in the mood to make another GRAND return, there's an announcement that the site is finally resting its head for a well-deserved slumber. It was inevitable, especially since the traffic around here understandably has drifted into the slow lane because of personal reasons and priorities.
I've been around Valucre for about 7 years. While it doesn't match the length of seasoned members, I have seen a lot during my stay. I've seen people come and go, achieve their dreams and blossom into dazzling human beings. I've made memorable connections and had the chance to write/code/work with wonderful people that I'll always keep close to my heart. Furthermore, I dare say that I consider(ed) this site another home for me and that it has helped me improve my writing.
To that, I say thank you.
I'm not the one for long-winded goodbyes and sappy reminisces. Honestly, I don't even think that this is goodbye - it's just another chapter closing with another one beginning.
I don't know if I'll migrate to the other forum. I might take this time to really focus on myself and what I need to do. But, if I do... y'all better be ready for my extravagant entrance. With more characters, more HTML, more ARGs and more Kay-flair.
