How do you be a villain, when you haven't even an ounce of fighting skill in you? Just doesn't feel possible at times when you try to do something. 

Anyone feel like taking up a random and sort of unique role for a one time role play (with the potential of becoming a long term character in Orisian Politics)? It's for a thread that King and I are working on. PM for details!

sorry for the delay, everyone i'm writing with—had to drop off the grid for a while and have some self-introspection and me-time ? will get to writing some posts in the next 24-48 hours hopefully ?

Day before yesterday, I found out my mother was diagnosed with long QT Syndrome. If you google it, it's "a heart rhythm disorder that can potentially cause fast, chaotic heartbeats", and apparently even sudden death. Her doctor informed her she needed to inform friends and family about it, just in case. She has an appointment in the morning.
We lost our power for a good long while because of the tropical storm. We had a crank radio and were listening to a lot of 70s, 80s and 90s. Listening to her sing and dance, I realized that I am absolutely terrified of losing her and I have no idea how I'll cope when the day comes that she'll go. With her having a closed adoption and not having an accessible family medical history, she has bravely and religiously gone to the doctors over any and everything just so I had a clear map of what I may be in for. Knowing there are heart problems on both sides of the family now (we thought it was just my biological father's side) is both a relief, and a worry.
I want her to die peacefully in her sleep. I've watched her struggle to raise me alone most of my life. Give up on things, let talents die so I could be where I am today. The idea that she could face a scary, and potentially painful death cripples me emotionally. I'm even in tears right this very second thinking about it. I think of how my grandmother passed away, hallucinating, and terrified and how horrible and sick it made me feel being there those last moments with her. I just sincerely hope it doesn't end up that way for my mom. I want to remember her dancing with Kojak, and knowing every lyric to every song past and present. Sitting with her tonight, and knowing the scary things she now has to face moving forward. I admire her. I admire her so deeply and wholly. I love her so much, my brave Lioness mother who beat a lot of odds and raised an okay kid.
We don't know if it was something she was born with, or something she developed--but it can be inherited. As if my bad eyes, teeth, skin, spine and heart weren't enough. I hope everything will turn out okay. That this won't be the thing that hurts her. She has to start losing weight, so I promised to join a gym with her and keep her motivated. I guess, I could really use some good vibes. I'm trying to stay ahead with my studies, and work keeps adding hours and the days I don't work things like Hurricanes come along and--it's been a struggle these past couple of months.
I appreciate everyone hanging in there. I haven't given up on here yet.
