    · Long before Renovatio had become a nation governed by Man, the land once dwelled amongst the stars as a cosmic kingdom and was ruled by the Celestial Body. Its size and mass once incomprehensible, until happening upon Valucre where only a fraction of Renovatio's glory has been preserved on said planet whereas the rest of the land exists outside of time and space. Now the mobile kingdom casts shadows over Valucre from the sky
                        - Renovatio was originally 6+ million square miles.   Renovatio is a land that has been through many things in its long life; from plagues to nearly falling out of the sky, the island is no stranger to random dangers. That being said, the people of Renovatio are incredibly devout, believing that the Heavenly Mother Tellus Mater will guide them through their troubles. Tellus being the center of their religion, others do worship her children or those who've fought in her name.  It's this robust belief system that makes the people willed to carry on, no matter the circumstances. Stubborn and often unmoveable, change is a complicated thing for them all. Through the years the issues the island has faced have been due to the inability to accept change, even though Renovatio is known for its technological advances and it's harboring of expansive knowledge. The island has been stuck in a circular movement that's gone only millimeters forward when inches could have been obtained. 
    Primus, the All-Father, is no longer a person of worship in Renovatio. He is respected and acknowledged, but his figure has been replaced with others from the Pantheon and beyond. This was the first step in going forward after Primera Cartyr took her place as Grand Kommadant after the Halcyon. There was no use for the All-Creator anymore in the hearts of her people, now that another God was taking his place as he left to slumber amongst the stars. Steorra is now a household name throughout Renovatio; various statues built for her, prayers and hymns speaking of her heroism. 
    Primera made sure her people understood who had indeed helped them from falling out of the sky.
    There is relative peace throughout Renovatio, though there are some wishing that change had never happened and that their current Kommadant should not be in charge. No rebellions have been sparked by this criticism and Primera has done nothing to thwart the talk. Thus it is all left to simmer until something does come of it.

    Renovatio as a whole is a mountainous region, if not the greatest in all of Tellus Mater. 
    It's said that the mountains are created by the shifting and colliding masses of earth; often smaller islands are formed by this dance, leaving them to float lazily above or below the main island. Flatland is nearly nonexistent, making travel in the more rural areas to be extremely difficult for even the most seasoned traveler. Earthquakes still shake through the island, they are infrequent and hardly anything to worry about, but they can be frightening if you're not prepared for them. Renovatio is continually changing, forcing the people to adapt quickly and make do with their current surroundings.
    Due to its unique location, seldom does it snow or rain. Winters are chilly, with temperatures dropping as low as -20(F); the winds make some areas of Renovatio hard to reach or dangerous to even be around. Summer, spring, and fall, temperatures shift between 30(°F)-70(°F). Humidity can be an issue if you're not used to it, some aren't even able to breathe being so high up in the air, the additional weight of a wet blanket is often a detriment to anyone's comfort. 
    Denizens often warn wanderers to be prepared for inclement weather depending on where they choose to travel to. Also, the threat of beasts and playful creatures wandering along unpaved paths can be detrimental to the unprepared. There is no fun in discovering what's already been found! Renovatio is full of mysteries just waiting for anyone to unlock them - there are grand prizes in such curiosity. 
    An expansive variety of flora and fauna can be found around the island. Most dangerous to even look at and some just pure, their beauty only marked by their ability to grow in the most random of places. You have no warning on what is what, thus you're left to discover for yourself if what you pick and eat or smell will be terrible for your health. 
    Renovatio is looking for individuals to discover new flora and fauna; this opportunity gives the individuals a chance to affect the island, while also providing proper credit to the appropriate discoverers. 
    As you travel through Renovatio, you will come to find that it is a patchwork of cities, their people matching the painted picture. Some areas you will see no technology touching it, the people living purely off the land, and then you may find many cities, some so large they've developed micro-economies. There are four significant provinces: Avylon, Nu Martyr, Oo'Xora, and La Guardia, and each one varies from one another in many ways, while also sharing some similarities.
    Culture
    · Renovatio is a cultural superpower stemming from a blend of multiple cultures, one such as Italy and its likeness to the makings of Greco-Roman empires, Religion, and the Renaissance. You may experience something in semblance to the Persian/Middle Eastern culture as well as Japanese culture due to long periods of relative isolationism from the outside world, and it's uncanny resemblance to Edo Japan in specific areas. Renovatio was designed to allow players to settle down and write about pretty much anything they'd like to dabble in without having to search multiple forums/subforums for different genres of role-playing.
    Renovatians all have a unique accent; some struggle understanding what a person is saying because of the heaviness of the accent. Latin, Italian, French, Japanese, and Sumerian speaking individuals are scattered throughout Renovatio, but more commonly, a blend of all of the above put a little spin on things. The wealthy speak a mix of Latin and French, middle class prefer Italian, while everyone else chooses to speak what they understand.
    The religion of Renovatio is everywhere. Stories of their gods and goddess are often etched into walls, doors; sewn into heavy tapestries and written in long texts. No matter where you can, no matter what a certain city or village may believe, Tellus Mater is the primary religion of Renovatio. She is the Goddes of the land and the creator of all things, without her and her children, Renovatio would not be what it is today. The Gospel of Recreation and the scriptures of Tellus Mater became the two most followed and focal religions in all of Tellus Mater.
    Steorra, another figure of worship, was discovered in lost texts most likely hidden by indifferent scholars. Her name is nearly parallel with that of Tellus due to Steorra being an important figure during the Halycon. Through her blessings, the island is still floating and the plague that had ravaged it is gone. Crystals jutting through Renovatio is a sign of Steorra's touch; the crystals are in cities, villages, mountains, and even bodies of water.
    Religion has led to an educational system that connects the soul and the mind. Those who seek spiritual enlightenment and the knowledge to unlock the secrets of the omniverse apply to the University overseen by the Zodiac Knights. In more rural areas, or advances cities still caught up in ancient ways educate their populace via trade - whether it's hunting, bartering or through the art of war. 
    Grand Kommadant welcomes teachers of all sorts to come and bring with them any knowledge they have to offer her people.
    Infrastructure

    The nation is overseen by the Grand Kommandant, which is very much like a president, for this position represents kingship in it's finest. One of this position has say overall, though cannot in any way override the rules marshaled by those before he who created the democratic conjunction.


    Magisters are Head's of State who represent each Province of 
    Renovatio: Avylon, Nu Martyr, Oo'Xora, and La Guardia. They are given the power to rule over the people inside their province as they see fit, yet they still answer to their Overlord.  
    The Sovereign is similar to that of a vice president and acts  as the Overlord when the Overlord is not present. though their actions are to be reviewed and decided upon prior to being acted out by the Council.    

    Lamanes rule over their chosen city in each Province and
    are watched by the Magister of their respective Province.
    · · National Security
    Although SOLDAT are seemingly omnipresent throughout Renovatio, it is CUR that oversees National Security alongside with the Overlord and Sovereign of Renovatio. When decisions need to be made this group will convene a moot amongst themselves to find solutions for the expected and the unexpected.
    The Holy Order faction is a group of Knights replacing the legendary Commission. The Holy Order answers only to the Director of CUR and their main objective is to protect the Overlord by assigning a renowned Ucissore or a Zodiac Bravada to protect the Grand Kommandant for months or years at a time.
    Economy
    · Coin is Renovatian currency and comes in the form of coin-shaped gems such as diamonds, rubies, crystals, and emeralds. All of which is roughly the size of quarters and are measured in ounces and pounds when making purchases.
    · · Primal Alloy
    All that is known about this unearthly creation is that it is an extension of Exus Prime, manipulated to build the foundation of Renovatio. This resource is not available for trade nor available to the public. It is highly durable and its worth is equivalent to platinum.
    · · Depleted Primal Alloy
    Is a combination of Ferro and small samples of Primal Alloy forged by a Sonic Driver. DPA is a common resource and the equivalent of gold in value.
    · · Ferro
    In its unrefined state, is a ductile, malleable, silver-white metallic element, scarcely known in a pure condition, but much used in its crude or impure carbon-containing forms for making tools, implements, machinery, a majority of Renovatian weapons, etc. Refined Ferro (graviton x depleted primal x ferro) is a dark-gray or silvery, lustrous, very hard, light, corrosion-resistant, metallic element, second only to the hard to obtain depleted primal alloy. Ferro is said to substantially improve one's psionic abilities.
    · · Graviton
    Can be found deep within the bowels of Renovatian mountains, and is very expensive and in high demand. Graviton materia ranges in effects and potency, some records explaining how it endows the user with gravity-defying abilities, like walking up walls or remaining suspended in the air for seconds longer. Outmoded tech still incorporates Graviton as it is the poor man's resource.
    · · Cànapa(hemp)
    is a tall, coarse plant, Cannabis sativa, that is native to Renovatio but naturalized or cultivated in many parts of the world and is the source of a valuable fiber as well as medicine in the form of marijuana and hashish. The tough fiber of this plant is mainly used for making rope, fabric, paper, etc. (wearing cànapa clothing strengthens earth zodiaco materia twofold).

    Plot
    Valucre is the story of your characters and how they interact with other characters in the world, whether those interactions are epic tales that span the globe or the intimate dramas of everyday life in a local town. What you decide to write, the actions you decide to take, can have as much or as little impact on your personal storyline and on the surrounding world as the effort you choose to put in. Knowledge about Valucre by its inhabitants should be taken as mythological rather than empirical. This means that what a people believe may not actually be accurate, and is subject to ongoing interpretation, debate and modification. There is no indisputable theory for how the universe came to be. Instead there are dominant and recessive theories, myths and worldviews which vary depending on where you are and who you ask. 
    The World
    Valucre is twice the radius of Earth and, like Earth, is made up mostly of water. For simplicity's sake, Valucre has similar seasons, weather, atmosphere, flora, fauna, etc. Valucre's creatures are also open by design, meaning that while nations may have their own bestiary index, their own unique creatures or versions of existing creatures, players are not limited to these and can create their own as long as they adhere to mild powers. 
    Despite a high level of scientific understanding among its people, the presence of magic has confounded efforts to get an accurate measure of the planet's age, and has complicated cartography and archaeology for eons. Different nations may keep different calendars for religious or cultural reasons but also keep track of a universal World Time. The universal calendar shared throughout the nations indicates that Valucre is in its 18,597th year World Time (WT). Colloquially this is referred to as 597 WTA (World Time Abbreviated, cutting off the millennia digits). For simplified timekeeping purposes, Valucre advances at a rate of 1:1 with the real world, usually in June.
    The Nations
    Continents and territories tend to favor a major theme while also participating in the shared game space. This means that while one location on the planet can be high fantasy (like Orisia or Alterion), another can employ magitech and airships (like Terrenus and Genesaris), and another might favor futuristic scifi (like Renovatio). Because of the complex interplay between magic and technology it's difficult to say that one nation is more 'advanced' than another since different means can be employed to similar ends, though that doesn't stop different kingdoms from trying.
    Keep in mind that these descriptions are not meant to isolate one setting from another and that your character can travel freely between each location, having to surpass obstacles magical and mundane. Also keep in mind that settings have a general theme but are not restricted to that theme. Considering these continents occupy the same world, expect to see some truly odd and wonderful sights. 'Fast travel' is a common plot device; you don't have to play out the travel between locations.

    Language
    The following is meant to be descriptive rather than prescriptive. This means that you can use it as a stylistic guide to your writing, rather than a rigid formula you have to follow to be accurate. Don't expect things like etymologies and expressions to perfectly match; don't expect to have to write in these languages
    Unii sounds like Russian. Unii is a constructed trade language designed to bridge communications between people who do not share a native tongue. It is employed most commonly by entities with international dealings, such as trade, diplomacy and criminal enterprise.     This is a gateway into what is commonly referred to as "the infinities of the spirit world", a portal which leads to endless realities and dimensions and through which come travelers from far off worlds. It can deposit you anywhere on the planet, not just near itself.
    Alternative
    Not a part of the canon world of Valucre. Alternative is where members can go to host roleplay that wouldn't fit in the world of Valucre. Roleplay that takes place on other planets, on modern-day earth, or that surpass the mild powers limitations of Valucre can be hosted here. Roleplay here must still abide by the code of conduct. As of the introduction of the vortex, characters can freely travel from Alternative to Valucre, and must adhere to the rules of the local realm. 
    Magic and Technology
    Valucre is a fantasy setting where magic and science have evolved separately but in parallel. This results in areas which vary drastically from one another. In a single nation you can have locations where people use coal and oil, other areas where they use steam and electricity - one area where magic is sacred and divine, and another where it is used for convenience, or doesn't exist at all.
    You can read more about the laws of magic in its dedicated article. The laws are open by design to allow members to use any ability or system they please, as long as those things adhere to mild powers; actions that observe the laws are considered as having canonical backing. Board leaders may have local systems which will override or supplement the universal system. Like any system, the laws are a 'living document' and subject to change.

    Heaven's Gate is a portal that links many places in and outside Valucre, including other planes. Said device riddle Valucre (mainly Renovatio at the moment), numbering in the hundreds, though none have ever been able to determine the exact number of active gates. A statue of Tellus Mater bearing many wings usually identifies the location of a portal, so those who cannot detect magical auras do not stumble into them accidentally. The portal itself is completely intangible. The Empyrean is the Gate Keeper, and via satellite1, is connected to and controls all portals (in Renovatio).
    [ 1 ] Some years after the war between Renovatio and Rosinder, the Renovatian government, and its leader, Exus Prime created an organization designed to bring man to the ocean of stars. In its creation, a Rosinderian unit were blessed with the task of being the first of their nation to trek space. The mission was to escort a Primal entity (HAVEN) into Valucre's atmosphere. HAVEN acts as a self-supporting defensive satellite and space station that watches over Renovatio, and even after the disappearance of its creator, HAVEN remains loyal to the people of Renovatio, mainly the Zodiac Templar.
     
    Note: Heaven's Gate's main use is for the training and transportation of Zodiac Templar. Though most planes are described by one or more of the cosmological models there are some exceptions that do not have a clear place in any known cosmology yet. These planes exist in unknown, nigh unreachable places and only a few well-informed Empyreans even know of their existence. These planes may drift distantly in one of the fundamental planes or lie entirely outside of Valucre. These planes often do not follow the same physical laws as do the other planes and are, at times, inhospitable. The known anomalous planes are as follows, though undoubtedly more exist:
    Qua`xar [ kwey-zahr; also known as the Essence ]
    The Qua`xar is a distant, infinite, and terrifying plane that is home to Zodiaco Materia, and lies outside of the rest of creation. This maddening realm is infamous for its power to break the minds of visitors, substantially provoking fear and amplifying it to the point of insanity and or death. Be not afeard; this plane is full of strange sounds, gruesome monsters, and chaotic landscapes to best your will power.
     
    Inferno [ Hell ]
    Like Qua`xar, though not infinite; souls who do not find peace through the psalms of Superbia & the Light Bearer, or forgiveness through Recreation, are sentenced to spend eternity in Inferno for their sins. Inferno became the home of all Fallen Arcs he day their God cast them out of the Essence. Although the first and second planes are the only planes to have been explored, many living souls have tested their mettle and delved deeper into Inferno to bring back their loved ones. All have failed to return due to the rules of Inferno which are: should a living soul spend more than a year, which is a day in real time, in Inferno become trapped, never to be freed or seen again.
    Within the first plane of Sofferenza Eterna (Eternal Suffering) reside souls that lacked the hope for something greater than rational minds conceive, and the virtuous pagans of old, who, though not sinful, did not accept Tellus Mater or Recreation, and thus punished by living in a deficient form of Que`Xar. Like Que`Xar (the Essence), this plane is constantly shifting, for days that are actually years in real time, it may resemble a golden primal kingdom with seven great foyers that represent the seven virtues where the wisest Renovatian men of antiquity parley. More often than not, this plane is washed by cleansing flames while Reapers seek out the wandering spirits to torture and feed, so that they may be reborn within this plane to experience the agony all over again, forevermore. All of those condemned for active, deliberately willed sins are judged by Baal, who sentences each soul to one of the lower planes.

    Residing in the second plane of Lussuria the great Fallen, Asmodeus and those overcome by lust for letting their appetites sway their reason. These souls are the second to be truly punished in Inferno; blown to and fro by the terrible winds of a violent wind and ice storm, without hope of rest. This symbolizes the power of lust to blow one about needlessly and aimlessly.

    Mammon guards Golosita, forced to lie in a vile slush produced by ceaseless foul, icy rain. The gluttons lie here sightless and heedless of their neighbors, symbolizing the cold, selfish, and empty sensuality of their lives. Just as lust has revealed its true nature in the winds of Lussuria, here the slush reveals the true nature of sensuality – which includes not only overindulgence in food and drink, but also other kinds of addiction.

    In Avarizia, Uriel watches over those whose attitude toward material goods deviated from what is righteous. They include the avaricious or miserly, who hoarded possessions, and the prodigal, who squandered them. These souls joust, using as weapons great weights which they push with their chests.

    In the plane of Rabbia, a place of swamp-like water in likeness to the river Styx, Remiel watches over the wrathful joyfully as they fight each other on the surface, and the sullen lie gurgling beneath the water, withdrawn into a black sulkiness which can find no joy in God or man or the universe. Such a plane reflects the fact that souls in Inferno are eternally fixed in the state they have chosen.

    In Eretici, Ezekiel is king and heretics, the treacherous and frauds are trapped in flaming tombs.

    Sarandriel watches over the souls of Violenza who bathe in boiling blood and fire. They're also subject to cosmic catastrophes and their vessels being tossed to and fro by gigantic appendages composed of putrid vessels (Woe verse 1). Tellus Mater preaches love, forgiveness, and peace, and those that fail to grasp her concept reside here for all eternity.

    What is Primal Alloy?
    Prior to the Prime era, Renovatio's dark ages were rather enlightening. Despite having left a carbon footprint wherever the contineant drifted, the Council and Overlords over the times have worked diligently to clean up their nation, transforming it into an eco friendly, selfsustaining enviornment for ages to come. Enter: Exus Prime.

    The former Baron's debut brought about an extraterrestial change that started with the introduction of Primal Alloy. Although before such, the Grand Culling had been initiated so that the population could be controlled without much effort via Nelrosis-- cancer. In its early phase, Primal Alloy was thought to be just some freak, adamant element naturally created within the core of a planet. Its durability has been tested for decades, rapid heating and cooling proved pointless as it dissipated heat instantaneously, and the cold increased hardness. A breakthrough came during the fall of Babylon, one of the White King's alchemist discovered that a specific audio frequnecy destabilized the alloy, discovering that the alloy was composed of Primal Nano Cells. Further research lead to the development of Depleted Primal Alloy, and later revealed by Primus that all Primal Alloy is an extension of him; sentient beings symbiotic in nature.

    Infused with Mana, Solar, and Cosmic energy, marble surfaces could act as high definition monitors, the ground could become a digital hub for any and all to use to navigate every inch of Renovatio considered public via HAVEN. Holography, Nuclear fission , and ion manipulation swiftly, yet subtly made their ways onto the scene one after another, for progression was dictated by Exus Prime. Despite the many great advances, Renovatio has never made any real or significant cosmetic changes aside from the addition of Nu Damyria. Renovatio is as it were centuries ago, though constantly expanding as the populace increases.
     
    Available Resources:
    — Depleted Primal Alloy
    Commonly sold in small vials in liquid form. An ounce can craft any weapon design (1/2h armaments)  imaginable. The more vials used the more durable the weapon.
    — Zodiaco Materia Via materia, the taboo arts of the universe become available to the user. To obtain materia in its whole form is impossible, being that not only do the articles reside in the Essence. Low to mid tier shards of each materia are normally sold in vendors, and are commonly surgically implanted in the body of a host or placed in jewelry.
      — Graviton An uncanny ore which can be found deep within the Xulu desert, and is very expensive and in high demand. Graviton ore ranges in effects and potency, some records detail how it endows the possessor with gravity defying abilities, like walking up walls or remaining suspended in the air for seconds longer.

    Tellus Seeds, an Introduction Tellus Seeds are genetic mutations brought about by an abundance of Crystal energy in the earth and are said to grant fantastic powers to those who eat them. Named after the mythical being, Tellus, the fruits are considered a blessing and in the early days of Alterion were said to have been gifted by Tellus, herself. Each fruit is named after one of the ten attendants of Riva, the first priestesses of the Masonic Faith and those granted the responsibility of the Masonress' wellbeing and comfort.
    Because encounters with them are rare (especially outside Alterion), a number of rumors about them have risen, making it difficult to tell whether some things are fact or fiction. The average person knows nothing or very little about what they are or what they do. Because of their power, if sold they can expect to receive a vast fortune and, on occasion, those who have eaten them are sold at market prices as slaves.
    There are only ten types of Tellus Seeds scattered throughout the known world and despite their name, they resemble a fruit more than a seed. They are said to taste unimaginably horrible, to the point that those who have eaten one believe they have been poisoned. The Tellus Seed, when consumed, gives the consumer a power or special trait, though they won't immediately become aware of it; a person who has eaten a Tellus Seed and gained its powers is known as a Crystallyn, or more specifically a Tellyn. The Seeds come in a variety of shapes, colors, and sizes, but all of them have swirl marks or patterns, presumably, on them of some kind to differentiate which Seed is which. . It is unheard of for two of the same type of Seed to surface at the same time. Only one bite is needed for the user to gain the Seed's power , after which the Crystal energy is sapped from the food rendering it a simple, useless, disgusting fruit. Swallowing the Seed whole, has the same effect, peeling off the skin and eating it piece by piece also works.
    Tellus Seeds are believed to be responsible for empowering many legendary heroes from Alterion lore and were the inspiration for the Crystal infusion process practiced by The RioT Program. They are commonly found in Alterion compared to the other continents, but have been known to appear in other realms. There is no way of knowing how various Tellus Seed powers will fare when pitted against one other. A Tellyn who normally dominates all other powers can sometimes be brought down by a power considered "weak" in comparison.
    There are never more than ten Tellus Seeds present, at any given time and never more than two of identical power. Of the ten Seeds, nine are restricted to their specific type (the powers they produce are completely random, however) and the last is a complete toss up.

    Side Effects With this new power comes a weakness: the Tellyn is greatly discomforted by the Skar, a wealth of Trapar energy prevalent in Alterion. Interaction with Trapar waves without some means of protection (a physical barrier of some sort) will often result in severe headaches, dizziness, nausea and (with enough exposure) complete and total paralysis until removed from the energy.)
    It isn't until a Tellyn is completely immersed in Trapar energy that they become immobilized,
     
    Types of Tellus Seeds Tellus Seeds fall into one of three main categories. Within each category, they grant a single special power than may be extrapolated into techniques.
    Animal type, allow the user to alter their shape or form into a creature of some sort. These often have three basic forms, a human- or natural- form, a hybrid form, and a beast-like form. Later on, through training, the user can achieve an even greater number of specialized forms to augment combat. Body type, these grant a variety of very flexible effects that can vary depending on the circumstances. More often than not, these Tellus Seeds are seeds that are the odd-balls, following no real specific rhyme or reason one to the next. If you think that your Seed doesn't fit into the other two categories, it probably goes here. Most often Body type Seeds result in people with Super Strength, extreme durability, elasticity, etc. Element type, grant the user the raw natural manifestation as an element from nature. Generally speaking these are the most rare and some of the most volatile Tellus Seeds. They often allow the user to freely break their body apart into the element that they've had entwined into their bodies, and they are capable of manifesting their physical form into elemental attacks upon their enemies. Additionally,Elemental Seeds grant the user the ability to control the natural states of the element, allowing them to bend/manipulate that element when in close proximity.  
    Consumed Tellus Seeds A compiled lists of Tellus Seeds that have been eaten in the past, these are currently not available for use until the respective characters are either killed or move on (typically two-three weeks of no activity, and no mention of being AFK opens a slot up. It is assumed that the Crystal Energy, being very particular determined the user was no longer worthy and dissipated from the Tellyn.)

    Demi-Seraph; are simply Hume who have Seraphim blood.
    Long before the reign of the White Knight, during times of hierogamy
    Many Seraphim would come from their pocket dimensions to breed with Hume thought to be pure and strong enough to give birth to the Titanborn. Demi-Seraph are normally 7-9ft in height whereas Humes seldom hit 7ft.
    Hume (Nelrosis); during an era long forgotten, the White Knight
    conquered many nations in the name of the All-Father, Primus.
    Despite the King's successful conquests, Primus felt like the King
    lacked ambition and cursed his people with a disease similar to cancer.
    Such causing men, women and their offspring to look like Fallen Arcs.

    Baal is one of I Sette Principi Dell'Inferno (the Seven Princes of Hell) who is mentioned widely in the Renovatian scriptures of old and new. Keeper of the first plane of Dell'Inferno, the plane of Eternal Suffering, stories only detail the moment of his exile which took place a some centuries prior to Exus Prime discovering Ayenee. His story is of betrayal, and when confronted by his God, Baal and his underling, Rifornire were banished from HAVEN. Though unlike Rifornire, Baal had been cast into Dell'Inferno where he was destined to fulfill his duties as Exus Prime's slave. In order to reach the second plane of Dell'Inferno, one must defeat Baal who is very much like his counterpart, Rifornire. Super Nove is Baal's special ability which is simply a great explosion that requires three preps to perform and a single turn to refresh.

Rifornire has one special ability he calls: Lanciafiamme in Renovatian tongue, which translates to flamethrower, and requires two preps.     Valucre is a mild powers forum. This means that we allow the use of powers, abilities, magic, etc. but limit them so as to keep the site balanced. There is wiggle room, mostly for the sake of story, but there has to be a cap. A new member that joins Valucre with a balanced character and sees someone throwing mountains will feel pressured to beef up in response. We emphasize balance, weaknesses, and character development over ability or power development. The error is in taking a tops-down (powers first) approach rather than a bottoms-up (character first) approach.
    As Valucre is a free-form site, rank or stat based systems are not an option. All we ask is that members exercise prudence when creating, choosing, and using abilities. Given the comfortable scale that our mild powers definition establishes, we care more about the end result, or consequences, of powers and abilities rather than origins or rationalizations. Our Character Creation Guide can give you some direction if you find yourself at a loss.
    Combat is always optional and requires both declaration and consent. As long as it is stated and agreed upon by both players, any system can be used to resolve an in-character conflict. Examples of this include collaboration (staff recommended), coin flips, dice systems, and so on. If players agree to combta but can't agree on a system, the default is the Mostly Orchestrated Battle System. Alternatives include the Terrenus Dice System and the Chosen Tournament Ruleset (Supplement: Fun with T1 is a useful, unofficial guide written by a member to help other members), among any of the various homebrew systems that you can find or create. 
    |Mild Powers|
    In order to understand the terminology, one needs a bit of history. In messenger, before Valucre was created, there were a few distinct forms of turn-based combat. Speed based combat emphasized speed, paragraph combat emphasized detail. PC allowed for a no-holds barred exhibition of ludicrous power, RM followed strict rules of realism. At some point MP was coined as a term to mean a system somewhere in the middle of the spectrum, where powers and magic were allowed but limited. The limit applied both to the amplitude of attack, the sheer number of abilities allowed, as well as a focus on generally doing away with any type of god-modding.

    For storyline purposes, massive attacks are allowed within reason. World- or continent-destroying attacks will essentially always be disallowed; city-busting is sometimes feasible depending on the effort and activity leading up to this as well as obtained permission and coordinating of plot; and the destruction of a building or buildings is usually considered the upper limit of a character or group of characters. Be prepared to put in a considerable amount of work. Contributors work for years building up conceptual sand-castles, and don't want to see them destroyed in a turn or two.
    Abilities are judged mostly on their destructive or constructive potential, or the scale on which they apply, as opposed to their complexity. Stopping a boulder mid-flight and pushing it away is less complex than turning it to sand but both work on a similar scale and essentially accomplish the same thing.

    Nu Martyr
    Heaven in the Sky is located in the northwestern region of Renovatio, approximately 970miles west from the capital city La Guardia. Nu Martyr is the capital city of the Nu Martyr province and is considered to be the wealthiest locality in all of Renovatio. According to the Renovatian Census Bureau, the population of the Nu Martyr province is around 10,000,000 (capital: 800k); 80% of the people being Renovatian and Damiryans as the minority at 20%.

    Relative to nearly all of Renovatio, though the winters are extreme, unlike anywhere else in the nation. Snow isn't a problem as Nu Martyr will see flurries at most, but the temperatures can and will drop substantially, making it dangerous for anyone, no matter how well equipped, to traverse the streets. Fewer animals return from migration every year due to the bone chilling winters

    Introduction
    Some years after the war between Renovatio and Rosinder, the Renovatian government, and its leader, Exus Prime created an organization designed to bring man to the ocean of stars. In its creation, a Rosinderian unit were blessed with the task of being the first of their nation to trek space. The mission was to escort a Primal entity (HAVEN) into Valucre's atmosphere. HAVEN acts as a self-supporting defensive satellite and space station that watches over Renovatio, and even after the disappearance of its creator, HAVEN remains loyal to the people of Renovatio, mainly the Zodiac Knights. Intergalactic Bebop
    Lodging & Amenities HAVEN can house millions, and in just seven days, it may house millions more. A masterpiece; HAVEN currently accommodates 12,000,000 Renovatians comfortably with room to spare. Each and every accommodation share the same cozy, fully furnished condominium model which includes: three elegantly decorated bedrooms (a master room and two smaller rooms), a living room, dining room, two bathrooms, and a loaded kitchen with marble islands and top-of-the-line Primal appliances. For diversity, HAVEN presents to its tenants styles to choose from such as: Contemporary, transitional, traditional, and eclectic. Though more importantly, HAVEN's design blesses each and every tenant with an impressive, to-die-for view of Valucre, space and all of its wonders. Less than three blocks from every abode is a space-way (subway) station granting passengers easy access to anywhere in HAVEN, and central location in relation to the main tourist attractions.
    Attractions
    A block from the space-way [ tier 1 ] is a mana powered, Megalo-Market with bright neon lights and plenty of shops and casinos to splurge one's hard earned money, spa facilities, public pools, playgrounds, gyms, and five star restaurants, dine-ins, and dives to explore. MEGALO, although gigantic, is more secure than any prison you may find in Valucre, all in order to prevent acts of terrorism or heinous crimes.
    Many locations on tier 2 require a pass card to confirm one's age so that they may enter some of the legendary clubs and bars such as the Cosmos. The cyberpunk theme is rather fitting given its location, though what makes this specific place so interesting is the customer service. Courtesans from all over Valucre-- mainly Renovatio --can be found here and only here, though illegal immigration, money laundering, and drug trafficking has given the Cosmos a bad rep as of late as syndicates continue to purchase property within HAVEN.
    Stardust, one of the more legit and prosperous companies thrives without fail. Unlike the Comos, Stardust is simply a gentleman's club located on tier 3 where aristocrats and well established Renovatian families dwell. The suburbs of HAVEN, which requires a specific and special pass card that can only be acquired via the HAVEN mainframe.
    Final Note: all players are welcomed to setup their own unique locations on any Tier until I establish a way to incorporate VB to purchase property with the help of Valucre's staff.

    The Bird's Nest is the easternmost city in all of Renovatio. Ancient Renovatian text reference the land mass, now known as La Guardia, to be the birth place of the first Herald, Ventus. Even then the land was a place of transport from earth to the Essence. According to the Renovatian Census Bureau, the population of the La Guardia province is around 11,000,000 (now: 1.1 million); Renovatian (70%), Damiryan (29%), Rosinderian (1%)

    Geography
    Those who visit Renovatio for the very first time are always shocked when they discover that the capitol is a colossal husk of Exus Prime. It was a ship the All-father piloted as if it were a gigantic mech during his tenure as a warmonger. The city draws energy from the seemingly, infinitely powered reactor, later proven (by HAVEN) to have the lifespan of several suns by.

    Climate
    The Bird's Nest's climate relates best to New England weather all year around. The summers can be temperate with an occasional heatwave. In autumn it is mild at best; never too chilly or warm. The perfect time of the year for a hoody or pea coat. Winters can be brutal but thanks to the ancient generator's of the former craft once belonging to the warmonger Himself, they emit enough heat to prevent snow and ice from ever building up on the capital's surface.

    Renovatian pride exists throughout the nation with different flavors from every city and town. Over the years Renovatio was blessed to have encountered and befriended Rosinderians and Damyrians, ultimately enriching their vibrant culture.     No longer a warring nation, Renovatio has dedicated its resources to reestablishing it's foothold in the business world of Valucre.     - Stardawn - The moment you step foot outside of La Guardia's city limits, green primal blades of grass turn to shimmering grains of sand. Xulu's arid rose-golden hills elegantly roll in to eternity, and at night the sand takes on a crimson hue in the presence of moonlight. Its natural beauty remains praise worthy, but the desert's true beauty rests not too far from a tropical colony of oasis. Three Primal polyhedrons sit in the flats of Xulu, emitting a sound frequency that causes the grains of sand to dance within a mile radius. They are said to be the ships of Aestus, Ventus, and Nahum, and confirmed by HAVEN that they are indeed spacecraft and have been active and sitting for three thousands years. When Barbarus - a renown Empyrean and Alchemist - asked HAVEN if these ships could be piloted by Hume, HAVEN insisted Hume should, but not even it can bypass the security of the ships. HAVEN conveys that a higher power, possibly Primus, remains in control of the spacecraft, protecting the secrets of the universe within them.
     
     

    - Condor Station provides flights to all of the cities within Renovatio with the option of international trips. La Guardia's airspace is heavily guarded by the government, making this station one of the most secure locations across the land.

    History
    As noted above, The Bird's Nest was in fact a vessel Exus Prime once owned. During Primus' cosmic infancy, His overseer, AV went to war. In the end, Primus was only capable of hurting AV enough to hijack one of his many creations to escape. There was no escaping AV, unfortunately. They met again on a nameless world where they fought for years , completely reshaping the planet. Theorist believe that it was because of this battle that life was possible on the planet now known as Renovatio today. Primus ultimately banishes his former Overseer and sheds himself of AV's creation, leaving it to rot (which it would not) for it held no sentimental value to him. It was simply a means to an escape.

    Emissary: Ihab Rashid. Montagna Rossa, the crimson gem in the sky, is a new yet grand city designed to compliment the intricacies of Renovatian Victorian and Umbra architecture. Tucked in between and atop the snow topped Cold Mountains, Montagna Rossa is perched on one of the many peaks that threaten to impale heaven. From this altitude it was possible to see Shrine City, although it would appear as a speck on the horizon to most.
    Montagna Rossa currently has a population of approximately 200,000.
    GEOGRAPHY
    Topography
    Unlike Umbra, Montagna Rossa rests in the bosom of the Cold Mountains. Given the altitude and turbulence, via EMP and Anti-Magic technologies, all aircraft will be grounded without an explanation as to why and how when within 1000meters of the city. Ultimately, forcing natives to trek to and from the city by foot and or horse and carriage. Services will be provided to relocate one's property should one trespass.

    In order to successfully reach Montagna Rossa one must traverse quite a few treacherous passes, the initial pass being: First Frost Path. Named after the constellation First Frost because, like the blade, the snow and ice in this region has never melted despite the comings and goings of the four seasons. Thus a majority of Renovatian and Umbra geographers residing in Montagna Rossa believe that the fresh frozen water and snow here has been here since the beginning of Genesaris history and prior to. Adventurers also believe that the Constellation is buried deep beneath to snow and ice. Note.

    Having traveled several miles up First Frost Path, upon reaching higher altitudes, what appears to be a skull etched into the side of a great mountain becomes more and more visible. At first one notices the dark eye sockets, then the nose and mouth that had no mandible, just a tongue which was merely a thinning and winding pass leading deep into its innards. This is the Cave of Ordeal; it is a labyrinth and natives tag the walls with ancient Genesaris and Renovatian sigils to guide the people and prevent the death of children who commonly end up lost and found months later by brave adventurers. How vast this cave is, some argue as great as an ocean; no one will ever know. All that is known is that it is dark and dangerous, filled with bandits and monsters from entrance to exit and everywhere in between.
    Cityscape
    Three tiers make up Montagna Rossa, and nearly 90% of the city resides in the Heart (second tier) and Spirit (first tier) of the city. Primal Quartz had been imported by Renovatian masons for the foundation and walls. Crimson Primal Alloy was also imported to make up the pointed roofs that collects cosmic and metaphysical energy to power the city. MageStorms provide surplus energy, which can be sold to energy companies in Genesaris, Renovatio, and other allied nations.
    All Genesarians and Renovatians reside in the two upper tiers and the third tucked deep within the mountain and is off limits to pedestrians. Beneath the city there is an edifce composed of radiant white marble and is roughly the size of a three football arenas. This compound is divided into thirds and the central compound is designated for the Zodiac Knights. The left compound  is occupied by the SDC (Super Dimensional Calvary) Aerial & Spatial division, which aircraft seem to be the only aircraft capable of flying in and out of Montagna Rossa. The right is SDC's Research & Development division.
    Only the comfortable and wealthy live here for the city itself bestows a gated community feel, which is cherished by many of the people who currently reside in Montagna Rossa.
    Climate
    More recently, with the weather -- even in the heart of winter -- has been decidedly pleasant. Many credit this to the Blood God’s presence, blessing the seat of his power. However, this “blessing” does not shield them in full from their surroundings. In the winter, it snows; in the spring, it rains; in the summer it swelters, and in the spring, it withers and cools. - King.

    As a city of Genesaris, common flora and fauna can be found in abundance around the city and its territories. These listed below are merely a few that are exclusive to the Red City and its immediate demesne.- King.

    Montagna Rossa: once exclusive to Renovatio, since the alliance of the two nations, emissary Ihab Rashid's first act, given his philanthropic nature, was the bestowment of a beautiful plant, much like how the Japanese bestowed America with cherry trees when a treaty was established. In return, Regent: Sauriel, Immortal Emperor of the Arcane East, blessed Renovatio with land in exchange for military support and many other resources. Now these Rossa grow in abundance throughout and all around the city, thriving and increasing in yield due to the cold and thinning air. The Rossa can grow to be as large as a car or airship.
    DEMOGRAPHICS
    Culture
    The City of Umbra is a haven for beings who seek unity, spiritual evolution and enlightenment. This evolution, or enlightenment, generally takes shape in conforming to the faith of the Sanguinar (the only religion legally practiced within the borders of Umbra, with the exception of Recreation in Montagna Rossa). While populated predominantly by humans and vampires, lycans, elves, and beings of unique origins have also come to call the city home. Whatever their race, descent, or social status, the people of Umbra exist as a people driven by their common cause to strengthen their city, the Empire, and disseminate the benevolence and righteousness of their dark god, for the betterment of all beings, throughout Genesaris. - King.
    Although the minority, Renovatian's preach and share their knowledge of spiritualism and the ever expanding universe whilst learning the ways and the beautiful culture, and noble ethos of the Umbra natives.
    Economy
    As the heart of the Carmine Empire, and one-third founder of the SUN Trading Company, the City of Umbra has established itself as one of the wealthiest cities in all of Genesaris. It swells from the just imperial taxes imposed on kingdoms and domains within its borders, though survives quite well with its own exports, which vary from crops, meats, magi-tech, and luxurious goods. And while it deals in all manner of currency, though exchange rates differ, the preferred coinage is the imperial alhm: a gold-minted coin, slightly larger than a quarter, stamped with the imperial sigil on one side (heads), and a three-eyed hawk on the other (tails).- King.
    The economical success story of Umbra allows Montagna Rossa residents to live in what many would claim to be a golden era. Because of this, Renovatian forges, haberdasheries, and restaurants have popped up and have established themselves as successful companies in such a short span of time.

    The Hand of the Emperor (Imperial Legion): The military forces of Umbra, known as the Hand of the Emperor, or the Hand, make up one of the smallest percentages of the Imperial Legion (the combined forces of all the Carmine Empire and its domains). The Hand is responsible for handling all matters of the Red City, namely defending the holy mecca and its surrounding areas should they ever fall under attack.     Roads, Walkways, and Bridges: Given the vertical establishment of the city, the primary method of travel consists of an intricate system built on cobblestone roads, stone walkways, and both narrow and wide bridges.     The Tree of Life, or better known as the Orchard, has been around since before a time when Heralds claimed Renovatio their own. It was during an era when Exus Prime practiced the art of Life, Love, and Forgiveness. To this day the Orchard remains, unlike many of his creations that have been dismantled due to their imperfections, for the Tree of Life was perfect, and should Primus ever reenact Revelations, it will remain to help repopulate Renovatio as it has always done. The Orchard bare seeds of various shapes, sizes, and colors for Renovatians to cultivate and or even trade with neighboring nations.     Oo`Xora
    The Golden Dragon is approximately 560 miles West (30min/airship) of La Guardia. Oo`xora is a rather unique destination, for she is nothing like its elder sisters. The heart of the mega-capitol city is very advanced and constantly bringing about evolution to a point that some scientist/alchemist felt the Renovatian race would soon exhaust all its potential and opportunities. The more rural areas outside of the capitol resemble Edo times with very little technological advancements only favored in few arbitrary locations. According to the Renovatian Census Bureau, the population of the Oo`Xora province is around 15,000,000 (capital: 1.3 million); 90% of the people being Renovatian and Damiryans as the minority at 10%.

    Oo`Xora is known as the Golden Dragon because of a single wonder that can only be observed from outer space. Satellite imagery revealed to the public by the Accademia showed that there are massive intricate line systems spanning across the land that takes the shape of a grand dragon chasing the setting sun.

    - The Temple of Ventus. Enigmatic and mysterious, the temple of Ventus acts as a Primal crown sitting high above the beautiful land of Oo`Xora.     The Constellations are a group of stars, each resembling 13 unique weapons rumored to be scattered throughout Renovatio. A popular tale in Renovatio is about the myth of Star Rain; a book where ancients describe a great meteor shower peppering 'stars' (weapons) about the land, and it also depict them as vessels containing immensely powerful souls, which powers can be harnessed by the owner when a soul is 'Awakened.' In order to awaken a soul one must invoke it's name.

    'You're sleeping' is a Renovatian idiom that means you're ignorant and or dormant soul. 'Awakened,' obviously representing that one is enlightened and or the soul within a Constellation is active.

    A slumbering soul is a sentient being insubstantial at first, but once awakened, the soul is shaped in its owners likeness. With that said, the appearance and personality of a soul differs with each owner, and What makes these weapons unique is that it is capable of dealing damage not only to physical, but spiritual entities as well. A dormant soul may appear as a regular weapon, but when awakened, it will take its original form. Such can be regulated at will (prep may be required depending on one's actions) by the owner depending on their level of skill.

    Mastering a single Constellation is a feat within itself, and is seldom accomplished. In order to master such a unique weapon, one must take on the Passages of Enlightenment, which actually is a three step process with requirements that differ per weapon.

    Home of the Zodiac Bravada.   Prior to the teachings of Recreation, ancient Renovatian literature illustrates how GOD governs the universe via the constellations. The noetic scriptures were discovered and guarded closely by the Zodiac Templar, which ultimately became an adamant foundation for their brotherhood. With the aid of Primus' Heralds, the Zodiac Templar have solidified their place in the annals of Renovatio. To this day, their Zen-esque philosophies bring vision to the blind, breath to the hopeless and peace of mind. Very much like PRIDE, the Zodiac Templar are commonly seen in pairs-- a Templar and a Warmage.     Palgard is a pirate haven built on the ruins of New Palgard, which was built on the ruins of Old Palgard. The city is situated to the far south of Terrenus, bordered by the magical Moonwood, No Man’s Land, and Black Ridge, all generally considered inhospitable places. This makes Palgard the Southern Oasis of Terrenus.
    Palgard is an anarchic city populated by a wild mix of all sapient races, and currently lacks all form of organized government. A number of corporations, gangs, cults, and unions have emerged which service the needs of its members and most others, while bands of merchant pirates and bandits pick up the slack.
    Its people are generally distrusting, but relaxed in their dealings with others. People can be counted on to not cheat or steal from each other on constant threat of death, but naturally this puts weaker-willed individuals on edge. By no means does this prevent lying, cheating, or killing. Not that there are any codified laws anymore.

    A well in town which has been spawning impish water elementals has been quieted with the removal of an odd object from its depths. More and more of these elementals keep spawning however, suggesting that there are more objects strewn all over the city. Little gangs of water elementals have been accosting travelers, good and bad alike. 
    Geography
    Topography
    Palgard shares a harsh, uneven, environment with the Black Ridge to its east, however the flat land to the north and west are fertile enough to sustain a form of self-sufficient agriculture, and the plentiful oceans to the south offer an abundance of fishing opportunities. Due to this uneven environment, and the river that most of the city runs along, many buildings either float or take on water at various parts of the year, giving foreigners the sense, for a while, that they’re standing on a giant interconnected structure made out of boats.
    Cityscape
    Palgard forms a wild and ever changing low skyline based on the skeletal remains of New Palgard’s ruins, and the resourcefulness of those who call Palgard home. Most noticeably, from even miles away, is the towering airship, crashed vertically in the city center - by the river - that has been retrofit into a capital building for the bandit king.
    Boating is an integral part of navigation throughout the city. Boats have a general access to most parts of the city, and walking makes up the rest. People are usually in no rush. Where there is wealth to be had, mine-like carts and rail have been slapped together from salvaged steel to allow people more hasty transport on a haphazard blend of community rail tapped off by whoever adds to it. There is no Gate allowing teleportation travel out from Palgard.
    Climate
    Palgard, during most months, usually enjoys tepid weather and a warm ocean breeze. However, during the winter months, Palgard endures long spells of freezing rain, though it never snows in the city. A hurricane has never struck Palgard since its renewal, but it is likely a single powerful hurricane would raze all but the capitol tower.
    Flora and Fauna
    The influence of the magical zones surrounding the city are obvious in its nature. Moonwood creatures that range from curious sprites to ferocious multi-fanged reptile-like tree-climbers sometimes venture into spitting distance of Palgard, and Unnaturals from the Black Ridge sometimes haunt the city’s civilians. The outskirts of the city also tend toward an overgrown state, to the dismay of the city’s residents.
    Demographics
    Culturally diverse with no clear dominance of race. Humans, Fae, Orkfolk, as well as aquatic races such as Merfolk, populate the city in equal numbers.
    Culture
    Culture is a wild mix and match of family and affiliation. Pleasure is equated with happiness, and arbitrary segregation such as racism or sexism only comes into play when it suits one’s interests. Which is relatively common in Palgard.
    Population
    Palgard is home to a hostile yet welcoming population of approximately 40 000, following steep rises in population as criminals of a less sadistic and more pragmatic nature flee the lamentable conditions of Last Chance to build and fight for homes in the constructed wreckage of Palgard.
    Lacking a large government and military presence, the various groups that have formed throughout the city and its surroundings are able to cooperate, at least within themselves, and to that extent are able to enforce their own arbitrary rules as per their territory.
    Companies, institutions and location
    Bell Tower Carcass: The concrete and stone skeleton of the destroyed Bell Tower that been brought down by a group of terrorists still lingers in the city. Having once held a mighty tower, the durable foundation proves an apt place for building shanties, and is considered a strategic landmark for warring factions. Life Preserve: A large tract of land taken from the Great Pine Barrens nearby Palgard are used as a free-range for a wide variety of domesticated plant and animal life. Cattle wrangling of all descriptions are commonplace. Odin Haze Monument: A massive stone effigy carved in the likeness of the Saint-King. Physical contact has been known to cure minor diseases, including blindness, deafness, a few forms of physical disability, as well as exorcise possessed people or items. A river of excrement now circles the structure like a heel-high moat. Sharpmate's Noodle Shop: Not quite a famous spot, not quite a hole in the ground, Sharpmate is known for its filling and satisfactory noodles.  Zephyrus Tower: A skyscraper-like structure at the heart of Palgard, home to the General'nyy Direktor and Bandit King. Heavily secured, the structure serves as a logistics center for anyone that enjoys their security. On the lower levels the structure also serves as a hotel brothel. Government
    Local government & Economy
    Anarchy. Needs are met by corporations, gangs, cults, or any word one uses for factions. Rule of the strong and loyal, but with survival the only tool of management, there is no strict hierarchy that is followed. What best allows one to survive is sought after.
    The economy is surprisingly robust. Contracts are upheld by threat of mutual destruction, and with so much danger surrounding citizens people prioritize passive arrangements. The rare few that attempt to take advantage of others with force are countered by overwhelming force, usually resulting in their mob-enforced execution.
    Federal government
    Although initial concerns indicated abandonment by the federal government, the Terran empire has responded to the upheaval of Palgard by tasking some of their best minds with re-establishing order and repairing damaged infrastructure, as well as providing aid and shelter to refugees fleeing violence in the core of the city.
    Education
    Factions educate their young, but Palgard is no place for youth. Given that Odin’s laws are generally ignored, children are generally working hard jobs by 10 years old. They learn while they work, experience and seniors guiding them.

    Canon
    Well, well, well: Ellen, Morrin, and Circe investigate an odd well that has been propagating mischievous water elementals. Inside the well, the three mages find a strange object of uncertain origin that appears to have been causing the disturbance. The trio remove the object from the well's presence, halting the creation of new elementals, and then go their separate ways. Palgard's club med: A three-man cell of soldiers is given an assignment – find out who keeps stealing the medical supplies being sent to Palgard. They discover that the bandits are well armed and highly coordinated, and follow a trail which leads them to Zephyrus Tower. They're able to reclaim some of the supplies and have uncovered what could be a criminal conspiracy in Palgard. An engineer's work is never done: The General'nny Direktor hires mercenaries to investigate a mysterious bandit outpost. After the mercenaries vanish before their job is completed the Direktor intervenes, and successfully converts the outpost to industrialist control. Demon in the Vault: Adventurers Michael and Donovan venture into a vault with Professor Renés. Sneaking through corridors filled with Grotesqueries, the duo finds the vault containing a demon named Sener. After being exposed, Sener attacks. Defeating the demon and taking a book that described its origin and the locations of others like her, Michael and Donovan leave the vault. After being deceived by an image of a woman he has strong affection for, Michael resolves to find the other demons. Tazarek turns to Palgard: An expedition for resources spirals into a deadly rebellion. No-Way Gate: The military closes its grip on its newly acquired asset, the Way Gate, and restores it again to functionality, but only unilaterally, allowing for inbound traffic only. Following the completion of its power source, work begins on a backup engine, the previously used ICE, as well as restoring outbound traffic between the other mega-cities. Brawl within the Belltower: The swordsman Garrett and engineer Kresh are hired by the General'nny Direktor to investigate the ruins of a Belltower in Palgard. The intrepid duo quickly discover that a gang has taken root in this once proud edifice's ruins, and so are forced to dispatch the anarchists in order to secure the site for whatever plans the Palgard government holds for this region. The First Move: Those Anarchists organized under the Bandit King expand their territory in all directions under the lackluster hand of their leader. They begin stockpiling Auranite. Rumors of secret dealings with the Bandit King and a mysterious, invested, party are abound. Rebuilding Greatness: The General'nny Direktor expanded the reach of her industrial territory by displacing nearby anarchists.  Once in ruins (again), Palgard is (not entirely) renovated (26 AO). The city is attacked by mercenary and pirate forces, a dark army is employed through crony Palgard security to fight them off, but they end up joining forces. A giant airship ends the attack, and the child regent goes missing, believed assassinated. Toppling a Tyrant: A group of adventurers toppled down a tyrant ruling over a small town near Palgard city. They assassinated the tyrant, rallied the people, then led an assault to defeat the bandit forces, routing them. The town is free at last. Attack on Palgard's Belltower: A regal party is interrupted by a terrorist attack that razes Palgard's bell tower, silencing its once haunting carillon. The attack provokes the local government and foments rebellion. Lynching riots between the poor and the rich are an increasing occurrence (Generates new quest: Stop the riots) Derailed Palgard: Terrorists boarded and destroyed the Lightning Rail and train in Palgard, and detonated an explosive in a crowded area. Major trade is disrupted in Palgard, resulting in chaos. Witches Be Crazy: The Sisterhood of Witches manage to end the Orc War, though are unable to salvage the orc fortress, which was one of their primary goals. Once in ruins, Palgard is now renovated (23 AO). The End of Power: For reasons unknown Roku disappears and abdicates his throne. F*ck You Roku!: A noble contracts two bag-men to clean up a mess that goes by the name of Roku. This Is MY Land:Roku takes Palgard by storm. They say he is a demon, spat straight from the bowels of hell. They say that the destruction he laid against the town was an act of vengeance, of justice perhaps, but bloody no matter the motivation.
