New articles or old ones revised to new format have a preferential image hierarchy of:

custom art work > open-source or creative-commons > credited with links to author's page > purely text based

This applies to CMS / Lore articles and does not apply to threads.

With it being explicitly called out in our code of conduct and terms of service that all content provided on the CMS is copyright their creators, I'm keeping the criteria above just for Terrenus and letting the board leaders and others do what they will

Courtesy of Tebo. Can be used for smaller things than nations and is designed to be brief and general, to provide an overview rather than a lot of detail

History [Provide an overview of significant historical events]

  • [Major historical periods]

The idea of each section would not be to provide an exhaustive view of each section, but to provide the information from the scope of the article itself. If you're describing an entire country before someone's eyes glaze over, you are probably going to omit tangents or trivia and highlight what they need to know. While I might mention, in Fauna, the selva as a species of large canine unique to the Northern Territories of Ea because the animal is of significance to that nation, it isn't the place for a description of their migratory patterns, nor would I provide a list of every ruminant found within its borders because no one cares about how many different types of deer they can hunt while in my country and how they like to get it on (I fucking hope).

For a more detailed version use France's wikipedia article as a guide: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/France

Brief Concept
Note: Any idea that manipulates or distorts time, space, reality, planes, and so on, may be rejected on that basis. As much as possible we want Valucre ideas manifesting in, and taking advantage of, the Valucre setting.

Idea (abstract)

Summarize your idea in 3-5 sentences.

Idea (specific)

Details like type of building (office, club, jail, etc.), the location (not just 'Biazo Isle' but what part, what's around it, things to give it orientation), origin (HOW) did this building come to be in this location), and purpose (WHY is this building here, what is the goal or what does it do?). Add anything else you can think of.

Personnel
Who owns it, who might be there now, clientele, etc. Even if the details are vague. Information that is supposed to be for players but not characters should be noted as such. At least two NPCs, things for characters to interact with.

Hotspots
Using an office building as an example this might be the Receptionist desk and the CEO's office. Or it might be the camera room or the supply closet. 2 locations characters can go.

Opportunities
Think of these as 'quests' but can be anything that gives the player something to do, that generates activity and contributes to the site. 2 such type opportunities, things that characters can do.
