See, that's what's making it difficult for me to figure out what I can and can not write >< I would say the "explicit level" between Gabriel's sexual and violent content are equal, but very high. It'd be helpful if I could see a sample of something that's allowed :S Like, from you post, it sounds like whatever is okay so long as it's a story/narrative and not outright porn - even if it's something you'd find in a romance novel, it'd be fine.

Here are some specific examples of what has been allowed in the past.

This intimate scene in Roen & Pasion Pasiva's thread Better Days

This torture/rape scene in The Hummingbird & Vatista's thread Into the Chains of Servitude

This straight-up torture scene in The Hummingbird & soulbrand's thread This is How we Deal with Arcantian Scum

...

Paradigm, dear, you didn't miss my question above regarding illness and death, did you?

Can I create Region 6: The Slave Market?

You are certainly welcome to create an area that  espouses and deals in slavery.

Please direct your attention here first, it’s the new write up of Cosanastre and a great many things have changed. Most of the info in this thread is obsolete.

Again, you’re still welcome to create a territory that runs a Slave market, but the Masons won’t fully support it. They abhor human slavery in Cosanastre, but tend to make exceptions for non humans like elves, orcs, gnomes, etc.

edit for clarification: the Masons won’t oppose it either as long as it’s not happening in one of the provinces they control. You should feel free to make your own city/kingdom in Cosanastre, or there’s Arkadia  Prime or Izral both of which have more lax views of slavery.

I was wondering.....

Could i evacuate people from the lands that are at constant war with monsters if I promise a sanctuary?

I was just wondering about that.

You certainly can, the people who the left to fend for themselves tend to be unaffiliated territories. They vary in size and culture with the only real shared trait being that they haven’t sworn fealty to the Masons and are this expected to protect themselves.

My OC might be interested in ruling a city. Do you have any idea how she could do this?

It would be relatively easy. First you need to decide if you want to rule an existing city (do you want your OC to pay tribute and operate under the purview and protection of the Masons) or do you want to create a city and have your OC take control of that.

I have several Provinces in Cosanastre that are prenamed and I have basic ideas on that I can put a write up for whatever Province together in a few days, but it really comes down to personal preference. Some people don’t like coming up with a city etc (preferring to walk into a ready made environment and shape things from there) and other people prefer things that they had a hand in creating.

As to the IC how: it looks like she has a small trading empire (by Alterion Standards) which would Allow her to broker enough deals with the right companies to at least come to Alterion and control an unaffiliated city (small kingdom.)  in reference the Setroth Province of Cosanastre is the second wealthiest in Cosanastre and has anywhere from 60-70,000 personal soldiers (not counting the 100,000 Mason soldiers that the Masons provide in return for Tribute.)

An unaffiliated territory could probably support anywhere from 40-50,000 soldiers but resources would be tight for the populace.

Alterion is very artistic with most of their works being tied to Masonism. Stylistically it’s very baroque, with the more ‘modern’ renditions (and Ocelot’s favorite) being more align with Rococo. So if it’s a museum I’d assume it would more than likely be some dark religious piece akin to ‘Saturn devours his children’

there’s no doubt statues and we can say some of them were carved by Riva the Masonress. As for a well known Painter...why not Alejandro Bluesky the VI with his key masterpiece ‘Riva’s Folly’

I was told that the precarious Izral setting is one freely accepting of character death, among many other perils.

I was re-directed both here and to Izral’s RoE in my desire to take part, but I am still left uncertain as to how I would be able to join, and what constraints ( if any ) would be placed on my character — save for, of course, the obvious prostration to T1.

I am still learning how to wield this site’s format for navigation, not to mention its “customs”, so please forgive my ignorance.

Is there something specific in Izral you are wanting to join or start up?

The largest constraints you may face in wielding your character, to the best of my knowledge, would be things that need permission from board leaders (i.e. area destruction, city building, large scale NPC death). In regard to character death, if for some reason (while in Alterion) your character dies (either by your choice or an agreed upon fight to the death) Xaengri-La is always an option.

Overall, communication is key, if you relay to me what it is you want to do I am more than willing to help you out in anyway that I am able.
