Alterion Canon: Updates and Alterations

Recommended Posts

Alterion Canon & Lore

Boardwide updates listed below.

Consider this your one-stop shop for updates to Alterion lore and canon. Links to, and summaries about, roleplay threads and events whose writers have successfully completed the canonization process will be posted as completed. I will try to keep a static list of all necessary Canon Board Info.

I've also decided to include general updates as well, such as any large revisions to lore articles or to available sub-boards, etc and so on.

GM Note: Don't anticipate that I, as Alterion, will roleplay out minutiae. I do consider myself fairly involved and if I'm available will assist when asked, but  I can't keep up with every possible thread and response to all possible actions. That's where you come in Alterholics! I want to make your changes lasting ones, so if you do something the onus is on you to get up with me and let me know. Communication is key. I can't update the lore and make changes if I don't know about something. Also, just cus we chatted about it a few months back, don't assume I remembered it. If your stuff hasn't been canonized or posted, odds are I've forgotten. So feel free to remind and prod me as necessary.

Table of Contents:

  1. Legend | Alterion - Pertinent Realm Information
  2. How to Affect the Canon of Alterion - How to change things in #1.
  3. Political Turmoil & Affiliations - Some things you may want to know. (Broad strokes).
  4. Want to Rule Alterion? - How to create a Province or rule an existing Province.
  5. RoE - Rules of Engagement or How to Conquer all the things.
  6. The Quest Board - A list of suggested canon quests. Feel free to submit your own via PM to @paradigm
  7. The Bounty Board - A list of NPCs and Player Characters ready to be hunted. Feel free to submit your own NPCs via PM to @paradigm
  8. The Alterion Bestiary - Here there be monsters!
  9. Alterion Relics and Artifacts - Here there be treasure!

Class C Quest completed in Arkadia Prime.

neargh, fargh, wherever you argh. - At the behest of Daius Industries a merry band of misfits are dispatched to deal with a group of Blackfire Raiders turned Sky Pirates. To that end our intrepid heroes join the crew of the Tonberry Slice. While initially a bit rocky at the onset, the plan comes to fruition when the Raiders attack. Driving off the first wave, the crew has little time to celebrate when Souji Brightblade, a member of Black Raider High Command makes an appearance. After a very brief scuffle, Souji blows a whole in the ship and makes good his escape. While the pirates were not completely neutralized, the cargo remained safe and the Daius now know that Souji Brightblade leads the Black Raider sky pirates.

The Blackfire Raiders continue to grow as a threat to Masonic rule and the Dead Apostles continue to make a name for themselves as a team of mercenaries. Souji Brightblade's bounty is increased from 500 to 700. Souji is now a Class V bounty.

home of the brave  <Full Summary Located in thread>

Summary

Jericho, a member of Justice, organizes a raid with two locally sourced mercenaries, Will and Middy. The raid includes not only the destruction of a major brothel, but the displacement of its slave labor into greater Alterion, helping them find their way back home or safe passage and the potential for gainful employment.

Notable Consequences

  • A major brothel in Izral is destroyed and the slave workforce is set free, dealing a two-pronged blow to the business
  • The displaced slave labor is given means to escape Izral and get back to their homes and families through a cult-like operation calling themselves the Brothers and Sisters
  • Those servants and slaves without homes are given safe passage to Terrenus and connected to Justice satellite offices, as well as Middy's Black Head

Opportunities

  • Chase down the Brothers and Sisters of Justice
    • Contact @supernal if this is taken up. Include @paradigm and I will add a bounty post with Notoriety and Monetary rewards.
  • Build a new business in the area that the brothel was destroyed
