𝕲olden eyes stared down from beneath the valley of leaves, the smell of earth within her nose, a similar smell, just like her home. This place was just like home, there was nothing more… Nothing less… Any place that smelled like this, was just like home… But Kalisha was not here to bask in the earthy feel of this plane…

She was here for business. Not alone of course, the female hellhound bought her friend, as they were on the hunt, less her uncle, Cerberus, would have both of their heads. She glanced down to the scene once more, taking in the familiar scent she was accustomed to…

The smell of fear.

“W-Who are you?” Spoke the shivering prey, a woman, in her mid-twenties, taken for some strange reason. A chant here, a chant there, and the female demon, Omavi, was summoned. A small grin, and a menacing laugh that echoed far from both the female before the prey and the woman from above.

“Not who dear…” Came a very eerily calm feminine voice, soothing almost that it felt like milk and honey, enough to make one feel rather drowsy.

What, would be the better question you foolish child...”  came the response of another, the voice more dark, menacing, a barrage of a dark entity. Just as it spoke, the chained female would feel heavy breathing against her shoulders. However, when the woman had reached behind her, she’d touched nothing.

“W-why am I here?” The female asked, chained and bound to the roots that uplifted from the ground, all thanks to the woman above.

"She does not remember..."

"A shame..."

It was almost as if the two voices were one, fire and water, wind and earth, the two voices flowed together. Finally, the sound of steps, heels knocking upon the fallen leaves. Only small sunlight between the two burning suns peeked between the leaves. The human chained, only saw but a few short of a distance between herself and the bits of light that assisted along the way.

"Chain," the feminine voice commanded, and the human suddenly felt a tight yank upon the chains that secured her neck, a strong enough force that pulled her back a few inches. But, it was not to torture, but to actually free her, allowing her to breathe.

The sound of footsteps was louder, as to where in the corner of the darkness, the human saw strange white glowing eyes. But as it ventured further from the darkness, the strange shadowy figure showed to be a female. It gave the human a sense of relief… But only momentarily.

And it gave the human a moment of boldness.

“What business do you have of kidnapping me? You have none!” She shouted.

Kalisha grinned, still looking down as Omavi did the same, a soft moan of satisfaction as she leaned into the woman…

And then the human finally saw it.

Gasp! "A demon!"

Omavi's horns, black as the night, curled like a lamb, settled on top of her short white hair, crisped into a short bob. Her eyes were a solid white, no pupils, but it wasn't hard to tell if the curvaceous female was staring at the frail woman. Her menacing aura alone was enough. Her figure was covered, an odd place for modesty as she was within black robes, though not enough to hide the tail that curled upon her leg. She had long claws, painted black, make-up that would lure in any being.

"It is my business child..." The woman spoke.

"You are in our domain!"  The other voice said, obscured and unseen by the prey still.

"Speak your name human, or I will feed you to the beast..."

"For I am VERY hungry!!!"  The voice echoed. There was a menacing sound of laughter, followed, causing the human to tremble.

“HELP ME!” The human shouted.

Unknown factors

Nullene rarely ever found herself at any real cross roads when it came to handling situations in her home lands. However when new bloods dared to enter past the founders, then there was a severe problem to be handled. Flexing her fingers lightly the drow had sensed the presence of the two figures with ease, having stood guard over the gate for centuries at a time, Nullene had a mistake to fix!

Already the rouge being had traversed the lands and made it to the closest village not invested by Xer creatures. A remarkable feat no doubt, seen as the Xer wave length remained unchanged in that specific area, this person was good at what they did no doubt. Her legs glided over the under growth of the forest floor while her body remained a blur in motion. The wind whipped her white hair into a mane of  fury accented by icy blue hues. "I messed up I messed up! This is not good... I do not know why I decided to make this part of my round trip. I should have left it to Mel.. She would have handled it perfectly.." Nullene grumbled every so slightly while she pushed herself through the deep jungles towards the Demons location.

Upon her swift arrival Nullene took a few moments to observe the playful behavior of the being before her. By the sounds of the voices there seemed to be two beings within one body no doubt. The hell hound itself was something unexpected to say in the least. It would undoubtedly fit right into the Taen territory once Mar's returned from the war front with their King Titus. Meanwhile she was left to guard this front for the time behind slipping her bow from around her shoulders. Her body was clad in a two piece set of armor that looked a metal set of panties at her hips and a metal bra set that covered her tits. The rest of her ebony smooth skin remained bare for the naked eye to caress and the bare hand to enjoy. The muscles rippled ever so slightly as her hues narrowed upon the Demons position.

There was an emotion of helplessness that came from the woman as she cried out. The chain remained tightly around her neck holding her in bondage. At some point Nullene would have walked away had this been an average slaver that lead to larger prey. Yet this being was a solo bound creature with a beast like companion that made her feel uncomfortable. Drawing the bow string back she held her diamond tipped arrows at solid aim for the Demoness below.

'Not to day you don't.. Not in Taen.. You take no one captive!!' Nullene spat mentally as she let the bow fire off a shot with a gentle hiss. The arrow was aimed for the Demonesses left thigh looking to wound her in some shape or manner. Meanwhile Nullene had moved from her spot in silence. Her bare feet made no sound across the fallen levels as she looked for a new vantage point on her enemy.

The Motherly Goddess....

The Twins...

It was like a song, the arrow swirling through the air as it came to Omavi’s leg. It snagged into her leg well, causing her to stumble forward just a bit. Her lips parted, a momentary action. She glanced down, seeing the shaft and fletching of the arrow lodged deep in her thigh. The arrowhead nearly touching bone. No blood came out, and she would have been a fool to simply pull it out. So, once her hand had reached down to the shaft of the arrow, she firmly grasped it, and with the twist of her hand, the arrow snapped in half. The bit of movement caused blood to trickle down her thigh, ruining her robe.

It was then, the second being, Restrii, began to form. The ground had begun to tremble slightly as heavy steps began approaching from within the darkness that was leaves, heavy breaths and the rattling of chains followed by a low resonating groan. The being finally showed himself, a tall massive hunk of a male figure. Chains surrounded some of his body, and if observed correctly, one would see the cuts and bruises from the chains rubbing up against his pale skin alone. His body nearly towered over Omavi, hitting the bow of branches, his red eyes taking a gander at the now broken bow within Omavi’s hand.

“A strange one… Are you alright Omavi?” His voice, though deep and pitiless, still held a hint of endearment towards his other half. The screams, however, of the human, who still understood nothing, seemed to distract the large male, and eventually, his expression changed. At first calm and stoic, furrowed into pure anger. “Kalisha…”

The older female from above seemed calm as her name was called. Nothing really was distinctive enough to let one know what she was. A woman with pointed ears and a large bushy dark brown tail. One would have wondered her to simply just wear a fur boa around her waist. She was tall, much taller than Omavi, a curvaceous giant of 7’’ ft in height, compared to the demoness who only stood at 6’’ ft alone. She was dressed in strange garbs; a dark green gele, a long dark green sari over her body. She was barefoot, usually seemed to be. She too was welcoming but in a more… Motherly way.

She yawned, walking over to the human as her pointed ears listened all around her. The woman couldn’t hide for too long.

“Othrus… Forgive me,” She whispered, her accent slightly heavy, but enough to comprehend everything she seemed to say betwixt her plump lips.

“Child! You only have three seconds to show yourself, or your heroic deeds will be a waste… One,” Her fingers wrapped around the human’s neck, her long nails against the pale flesh, pushing into her skin just enough to draw blood, the smell of fear once more filling her nostrils.

Relentless is my stride

This is exactly how Nullene liked her odds, stacked firmly against her at all times. The person was not her objective in the least bit. If the woman died she would die however she was also one to minimize casualties if possible. Yet when she had first stopped moving the world seemed to shift as the next two figures made their appearance around the Demoness. A hound like woman with a motherly presence and the other a chained man with fury in his eyes.

'Well shit.. This looks like it will be fun..' Smirking lightly she shifted her bow bag and moved to the ivory black tipped arrows. This way there was no glint to her shot. Smiling wider there was an expression of pure blood lust as the Huntress notched four arrows into place. Shifting as she moved the first woman snipped the arrow in her leg, the first mistake. The second was the latter woman  moving closer to the female. As the hand reached out the arrow was first aimed for the wrist the other three came as Nullene circled their position at a further distance. She would not give them the satisfaction of pinning her down.

The next two came in a downward arch on the males collar bones aiming to pinch the trapeziums muscles and the third final one aimed for the nape of his neck.  As for the broken shaft, Nullene began to slowly chant beneath the cover of the breeze and rustling leaves. The diamond tipped head began to vibrate and expand forcing its way in towards the bone and eventually exploding like a spike ball in the woman's thigh.

The breeze seemed to carry her voice as she watched them in distaste. "You have committed crimes against Taen and her people.. What say you in your defense..?" Even as she spoke she was moving away from her previous spot. No doubt these people were skilled fighters and she as far as she knew had the woods. An that's all she needed was the woods to defend herself. Notching the next arrow she remained tucked into the darkness.

The arrow easily missed the hound. Unlike the two demons, the hound was able to hear everything around her. The trees sang, and her earth trembled with a voice that only Kalisha could hear. No, she was not insane, but being the daughter of an Orisha, the literal earth, was her playground. She pulled herself back fast enough before the arrow would even have the chance to touch her. However, her comrades wouldn't fare well. Restrii was a walking tank of hard flesh, to where the arrows did absolutely nothing to his pale skin but simply fall against the ground. It took more than just mortal weaponry to hurt the bigger beast. But, his weakness was the main problem as Omavi fell onto the floor. A common reaction would have been a scream, as her leg was of no use. Restrii was livid, his eyes glancing around the forest as his dark aura was slowly beginning to form. It shrouded his body in a ghastly mass, becoming nearly invisible in the dark corners of the forest.

This was not the way things were going to go, at least Kalisha had thought so. She growled, raising her hand up as the roots behind the human had begun to grow, succumbing the woman in the darkness as the roots covered her completely. Only seconds in would the woman die, as Kalisha had other plans.

She rubbed her hands together, and crouched down, slamming her fingers down onto the ground, causing the trees all around them to move, swaying side to side, almost as if the trees themselves were alive.

"I've had enough of these games, we must stop Restrii," Kalisha warned him.

"She hurt Omavi!" He screamed. Omavi bit down hard on her bottom lip, wincing as she groaned in pain. The roots of the trees around them began to grow, circling around Kalisha and the other two to the point where it shielded them from any more harm. However, the roots separated a bit to allow Kalisha through, ending up wishing the be the voice of reason.

"Perhaps if you would have known the crimes of your human, you would leave us be. Now show yourself child, or become one with the woods as well," Kalisha demanded.

My home.. Speaks for me alone..

The lands of Taen were a living essence that breathed Aether through each of its birthed subjects. Every aspect and element spoke only to those who had taken to time to learn of her temper and stride. For the one known as Kalisha it was a feat to hear the woods speak. The nymphs and tree folk were no kin to her kind nor did they fair well with invaders human or not. The crimes of the people from afar were not their business but to stir trouble upon their grounds was not permissible. Thus even when the woman sought to tug the roots they budged only slightly before a firm rebound of control was lashed back into her face mentally. The lands aether was not the common bounds of Valucre, the soil and even the air was of a different essence. The driad and nymph folk held strong to their home which Taen had provided unto them through much turmoil and pain. King Titus's rule was to be absolute!

As for the prisoner woman the roots did do the work of crushing her for trespassing on lands not permitted. The roots first interlocked with the chain before roughly grinding across her neck. Peeling and carving the first thin layer of skin from her neck and body. The roots were merciless as the woman was permitted to scream bloody murder upon the forest floor. Th tree's themselves filtered in more light to shine down and wash out the shadowy places. The elf was under the protection of the woods. This was where she was raised alone by the tree folk and their aether connection. A subtle pop sounded as the roots groaned while twisted and pulling the woman's body. Blood was already pouring from open scars and various holes in her body. Tree root points slowly pushed in between the fingernails and toenails and the skin forcefully popping them off in painful ease. Next came the breaking of each finger one phalanges knuckle at a time bending fingers three different waits per a jointed piece. The vertebrae was left in place as not to end her torment too quickly The forest floor drank up her blood as the tree's once more pushed Kalisha's range of control back.

The ivory arrows that were to have no effect were not ordinary. They were crafted and forged in the Holy aura of the Arch Angel Titus. Thus when these Holy imbued objects struck the males neck there was no protection. The demonic sanctity held no grip here the antagonist to any demons plight. Both arrows heads pierced home to the bone before sending out a firm internal shock wave to cut communication with the brain at the C3 of the neck. No the large man was not dead oh no but his control over himself and his energy was ineffective til the arrows were removed.

"I was one with these woods at birth intruder.. The driads and nymph folk will not and do not answer to the likes of your creed and kind." Frowning deeply Nullene remained hidden and quiet as the human woman continued to wail and moan incoherently in pain. Tears rolled down dirt stained cheeks before a single long root shot through her ear and out the other. With a firm and swift 360 spin of the neck the head came clean off. The nearest tree opened its mouth wide devouring the recently deceased. The rest of the body was pulled apart along blood to spray and coat the enemy below. "If it is blood you want there you have it.. On your skin and in our ground.." Drawing the bow string back once more she wasn't firing an arrow this time. Oh now the energy the flowed through her finger tips now took place before her. A single sigil sign of magic aimed to devour the woman should she move. "You have committed treason, for which your actions result in death.. But I will hear you out.."

At first there was a small grin, and then a chuckle came, though it was from Restrii as he couldn't really move, nor do much of anything really. His main concern was Omavi, and if there was any form of her to reveal her true form there, they'd both be dead. Kalisha shook her head however, the tall woman's eyes glancing over and down to the darkskinned woman.

"I care less of who you are, what place this is, and the very air you breathe," she reached into her satchel that settled against her waist, her eyes never getting off of the woman. She took out a vial, and as she opened it, the head of the now dead body seemed to jut, eyes widening and rolling to the back of its head as its mouth opened wide, nearly unhinging her jaw before black soot came from betwixt her lips, letting out a last gasp of air as thr soot filled Kalisha's vial just before it was devoured. As soon as she was done, she closed the vial, her job was done.

"I wonder, will you throw yourself to save anyone so blindly? Even if they were not from here?" Kalisha asked simply, "a typical mortal. Set your bow down, it will do you no good but send me back home. Or perhaps you truly intend to kill me. I wonder, if you are truly a tree child, how would your people feel knowing you will kill something of the unborn?"

Kalisha said nothing more, she knew the woman was smart, and would piece everything together.

"The woman summoned a demon from the third ring of my dark realm. We merely came to retrieve our prize. Death was not our intent, but fear... Fear was what would have drove the beast back home... But instead, you bought yourself and fancy weaponry to kill. I would eat you where you stand, but, you are too small, and wouldn't even put a dent in my appetite. But I digress, you have done me a favor. Now away with you."

Was that laughter? Or even more so was there a sense of pure ill will against the three that Nullene let loose from her lips. "The unborn child of a Cur is of no consequence, I am not sure if you understood what I said.. Trespassing is death child or no child.." Frowning once more she relaxed her bow before turning away from the woman without a care in the world. "I doubt you had the stomach for anything in general.. Take your lump of muscle and busted friend and leave." Narrowing her gaze she turned around lightly staring deeply into the woman's own. "Don't come back.. Or I will end you three myself.. So much for a motherly talent of protecting her friends." Nullene laughed again this time even louder as she vanished from sight. Her large cloak covered her with ease. "It is you who must go away you are not welcome here... Even Mars would have your head removed as Kin to him as you might be in species.."

Yet she would not go far in order to watch them depart and when they had moved from the spot she would track them till they left. The trees rustled restlessly as if telling them to move their ass home. Residing in the tree tops she kept her bow tightly in hand with the energy still pooling into her left hand. She offered the lady no help and even debating having the diamond shatter and destroy both legs, yet she would do no such thing. Beginning her spell chant the diamond arrow head began to shrink before turning back into the arrow head itself. Laying upon the ground in a somewhat bloody mess. "That is my only mercy.." Nullene whispered before moving along the tree tops to watch them go. No doubt she did not believe in their intent to leave, however she had to be sure. Such was her job.

Kalisha only shook her head, though her smile never left. No matter where she was, no matter what world she was in, the creatures, the people, they all stayed the same. same threats, same responses. Perhaps one-day Kalisha would hear a warning much more savage and more interesting. But for now, she'd consider the delinquent's words, more so for the demons beside her. But Kalisha still couldn't help but laugh, clapping her hands together from the excitement, "beautiful! Ya know, she reminds me of my son," she whispered before the roots had slowly dispersed from both Omavi and Restrii. Kalisha folded her arms, walking over to the two to examine their wounds. She clicked her tongue, as both the lamb and wolf both seemed to be ready for slaughter. "You two are so foolish," she started to complain. "I bought you to help track the demon down, not end up getting hurt."

"Shut your mouth dog," Restrii growled, wincing as Kalisha aided to taking out all of the shards and pierced wounds. But Restrii was smacked in the back of his head by Kalisha, before he was set free, sighing of relief and instantly vanishing, leaving only Omavi.

"I'm too weak to keep him out," she whispered as Kalisha had bent down, looking at her leg and sighing.

"One thing you mustn't do Omavi, is starting a fight in someone else's territory."

"I eat her kind for breakfast, fucking cur thinks she can hide behind her words and range. Get this shit out of me!" Omavi demanded. Kalisha chuckled and one by one used her claw to dig deep into Omavi's leg. Omavi, of course, screamed bloody murder, but Kalisha didn't care until she got every last bit out. When it was all out, Omavi's leg was a mess, but it began to mend, the bone fixing bone, and her flesh mending once again. "And she messed up my beautiful dress, got blood all over it."

Kalisha was finally done, standing up tall as she licked the blood from her own hands. "Go home, for now, Omavi, we have one more to catch. But we cannot do it in your state."

"For what? For the foolish woman to come back and try to kill you? Ya heard what she said, ya gonna let that pass?"

"I've far bigger problems."

"Yea? I'd show her my bigger problem."

"Goodbye Omavi, I will see you later."

Omavi grumbled and suddenly vanished, at least for now, Kalisha knew that the girl was still around, her scent was still in the air, her aura, though distant, was still visible to the ascended hound. But When all was said and done, Kalisha did nothing more and instead started walking forward, talking to herself. Her tail, though hidden, fell still as Kalisha decided to simply sit down, taking out her satchel again, she took out the vial, looking at the black smog within. She swirled it around, before taking out another. There were four vials, and only two were filled. Kalisha had a lot more to do.

But, now Kalisha decided on another idea, though her eyes were focused on the vials, she decided to speak. "I told you to go home," Kalisha shouted, more so to the woman who she knew was most likely still watching her. "report back to your people, or whoever you hail too. My job is done for tonight, I'm fighting no one."

Their words tickled the drow purple as she kicked her legs on the branches watching Omavi cry in pain. "Serves you right bitch.." Nullene muttered lightly before watched the other two seemingly vanish from sight. She could hear them as clear as day as if she were right next to them. The news however did not amuse her in the least bit. She would have to baby sit instead of going back to the festival. Thankfully she wasn't just some trooping warden of the gate.. She was the last of the five which meant she only reported to herself for the time being. There were many in training but few carried the proper traits to handle the task at hand. Clutching the bow lightly the woman gazed at the one they called a Dog. That explained a few things about her ability to sense.

Trotting along the tree tops she placed herself directly overhead in front of Kalisha with a frown. "I do not listen to dogs or demons... Secondly I am to remain here for it is my duty.. If your business is not completed and you can not leave then I can not leave.. So you understand you were never in a place to give orders to me off worlder.." Her icy optics examined the ley lines about the woman and frowned even further, those who jumped from plane to line often carried a few ties. This woman had one to many which reminded her deeply of General Mars of the Taen military. He too had crossed many planes of existence and even brought his children with him on such adventures.

"Having two more of our kind here means I have two more irritations in my side that I don't want.. Nor that this land needs.." Flipping the bow around in her hand she held it so that she had the bow string to the floor. Ebony skin contrasted against snow white hair and icy blue hues that remained vigilant and dilated with duty. There was nothing that she longed for more than going back home. Perhaps a suitor to finally leave this work behind like the rest did. She was not so lucky unlike the other women before her. They had found adventures beyond the realm never to return of their own choice and blessed by the people themselves. Yet the drow had no such ties to the people who dwelled on the surface of Taen. Her people resided deep within the darkness of the earth, she was merely a peace offering to keep their lands from being invaded due to previous internal struggles.

Sitting her ample bottom down upon the branch her cloak hugged her curvy figure as she began to polish the bow in silence. "So... How long do you intend to remain..? I am sure you can already smell your prey so tell me how far out are they..?"

Kalisha was actually amazed that the woman didn't try to harm her any further. Perhaps in some worlds, people did see reason after all. Countless times had Kalisha stolen souls to only give to her blood oath sister. But that was for another time. Kalisha blinked a few times at the vials, placing them back within her satchel before now taking out a canteen of water, and a small exotic fruit. "My dear if you're here to watch me, then it seems that you will be here for a few more days, nothing more, nothing less." Kalisha's golden eyes finally gazed over to the dark-skinned beautiful, before finally taking off her gele. Long curly black tresses accented over her chocolate skin. Her pointed ears were finally seen, oddly enough they were canine but more elven. "I used to be a dog, though that was what most of the people underground knew me as. Before I ascended to godhood with others in Olympus and the Orishas. My dog ears were taken to show proof that I am not like the others. Though my family is not the same. You remind me of my son, well one of them anyways. Big mouth, talks much crap, but like you, he can at least back up his words..."

She sighed, taking a bite of her fruit. With more of her visage seen, along with her beautiful waist length hair, Kalisha was a beautiful woman, could have even been mistaken for a human herself if her tail was hidden, and her hair hid her ears.

"The other demon we are to find isn't someone easy to find, I cannot smell him, which was why Omavi was here, I cannot track demons, not unless I feel their auras, you understand. But in a new plane, I cannot feel them, they hide. And I hate when they hide."

"That is fine.. There is nothing that awaits for me at home.." Nullene said lightly as she thought back to the most recent of news that she had obtained. The drow population below the earth had been wiped out by demons and most taken captive and used as breeding grounds for more demons to spawn. Biting her lower lip there was anger and anguish which she kept firmly to herself. Observing the now exposed God hound she only rolled her eyes in irritation. These worlds seemed to have plenty of Gods and Goddesses and so few of them understood how to respect the sanctum of mortal people. So what if they were Gods and so forth, no one asked them to come down and fuck with things that weren't theirs now did they?!

With a bit of a shock the girl found herself breathing rather quickly, to which she had to calm her own nerves. This woman before her was not the blame for the acts of others she did not control. Reigning in her anger and irritation Nullene observed the rather breath taking goddess with ease. "With great words comes the responsibility to see the act done.. Does it not?" Furrowing her brows she leaned back and flipped out of the tree landing on her two feet. Putting the bow away she moved over to the left leaning against a near by tree quietly. "The Naga do not come up here at night.. Here you will be safe.." Frowning lightly the girl gently traced a few lines into the tree she leaned on.

"If you can tell me what to look for I will find them for you.. Or if you prefer to bring Omavi back. I promise not to take her head from her shoulders.." Standing up slowly Nullene slowly discarded her cloak and weaponry exposing herself completely to the woman before her. She wore only a set of boots and vambraces on her feet and arms. To cover her torso she wore only a armor plated bralette and panties that were also armor plated with a tasset for more modesty. Sauntering closer to Kalisha she offer the woman a hand of agreement in silence. She had no other real choice seen as the next couple of days would be spent out here with a gang of one mother and two pathetic demons.

There were no words coming from betwixt the lips of the ascended being. While the dark beauty before her had begun to speak, Kalisha's eyes glanced down to her own bushy tail. Long and glorious, the brown and white fur brushed against her leg, reminding her of her shortcomings. She didn't regret any decision she ever made. To do so was beyond her. Her actions affected the objects and beings around her. It was her job to simply let things lie. As mother of nature always prevailed in the end.

But her problems were of the past, for now, she had dues. And finally, as the hound came out from her train of thought, her focus on the other as she continued to speak. At first, Kalisha was alarmed to see the female's hand outstretched to her own. An agreement? An alliance? Surely it had to be some trap.

For a moment, Kalisha stared down at her hand, blinking a few times before looking up to the strange woman and finally closing the agreement, shaking her hand. Kalisha's hand was soft, tender, and for a moment, Nullene would possibly feel a sense of comfort around the hound. "Kalisha," she had finally spoken, "Kalisha Qelhatat. It is my name, spoken by the tribesmen of my homeland. But you may call me Kali, it's more comfortable on the tongue."

She finally sighed, resting her head back against the bark of the tree behind her.

"The demons, Omavi and Restrii, are weak when not within their own plane. I would ask to please not harm Omavi, she is important for me to find these beings. The demons that we search for are malicious, they jump from body to body to corrupt, and plant their seed as they leave. Our purpose here is to prevent that. In the underworld, there is order, and when rules are broken, we are sent out. Do you have a leader in your home?" She asked with a raised brow. "Perhaps that is what their goal is."

Nullene nodded lightly as she inspected the woman again but this time at a closer range. She was beauteous and to be admired by all those who needed something amazing to look at in their daily life. The sensation of ease and comfort flooded her being when Kalisha took her hand for the agreement; with a slight wrinkle to her nose Nullene slowly turned the hand shake into a pinkie promise. "So long as when they are allowed back they keep their ill intent away from me.. Or else I will not hesitate the finish what was started." Nodding her head solemnly the drow backed away from Kalisha to listen to her words.

How lovely now they were dealing with body jumping demons which meant they would have to weed out the rest of the seeds if they jumped from a previous body. Taking up her seat beneath the tree with her gear the thought of a leader struck her into a somewhat of a cold mood. The icy optics turned from passive to a darkened mood. The thought of a home who sold for peace that no longer lives was nothing worth speaking about. "The Leader of my people is long since died to the hands of the demons underground.. I am a Drow my people inhabit the under grounds and come out mostly at night if not for purely invasion purpose. We are a hostile race to other species depending on who leads all of us. Yet when the world sought to over whelm us the Matren Mother picked seven of us out.. We were sent as piece offering to watch the lands of Taen's boarders by ourselves. A traveling troop that slowly dwindled down to myself.." Brows furrowed together as she subdued the emotion to cry out in distress to being the last of her kind here in Taen.

"The latest of news is that the remaining kind of my people are all female and breeding grounds for the demon army below.. I have no people.. An I never will have people again due to this calamity." Reaching into her cloak she pulled out a dagger that was pure as starlight, twirling in her grasp it was clear to see that she wanted the blood of her enemies. Yet she was bound by duty here to stay and watch the boarders alone. Had she abandoned her duty like the rest she too would be a breeding ground alone with the others below. "So.. No.. They are not aiming for my Leader.. I lead only myself.."

Her eyes took a gander over to the woman as she spoke, her tail all too familiar to someone she had once known, but with different outcomes. Kalisha took a bite out of her fruit, the juices practically bursting out into her mouth, causing her to hesitate, feeling the stinging sensation of the sweet and yet tangy fruit. It caused her to cough a little, before drinking more of her water from the canteen. When she was done, she cleared her throat and placed everything down. "I see... A shame, my condolences for your people." Though she couldn't say the same for her own, being that she was no longer truly like her kind, a downfall of being what she ascended to, her inner pain of being chased constantly by her brother, an ongoing power battle that eventually would have a victor. If Kalisha was to die under any circumstances, it would be near her immediate family.

At least... She had always dreamed about it, but the difference was in the reality of things, being a dreamer as she was, she always hoped for the best of situations...

She had only wished that things within her family never turned out the way that they did...

Coming back to refocus on Nullene, "my dear you are a treat, despite what you go through... But, you've never told me your name, I would at least like to know who the Drow... Who stands before me, is." Kalisha seemed to have a slight distaste in saying the word, but not against Nullene. "Hopefully the Drow in this world are different from the other worlds I have ventured through. But you seem nice... A fine young one, can't help that you have a job to do, even if you might die in the process... Such as the circle of life. We work until we die... Yada yada..."
