The Brittle King's Tragedy OOC

Recommended Posts

Azytzeen will step into the creatures attack, stepping to side slightly to let his breastplate take a glancing blow as he grabs the creatures knife hand, and with sword clenched in hand, bashes the creature in its face with a heavy blow from his steel shod hand. Hopefully to stagger the creature and give him some room to start swingin' his ten pound sword of war.

Also anything else he might glean from what the entity traded with him?

Aside from that concerning sense of foreboding he has now.

The Reaver eats the blow to the face, but holds firm for a moment, resisting his grip. Beneath its skin, it's nigh impossible to feel any muscle, or tendons beneath the flesh, and somehow it still forces Azytzeen to work hard to keep its hand in place. There's a visible indent in the creature's face from where the sword's pommel struck it, but it appears unfazed, and mostly unconcerned.

It eventually wrenches its hand free from his grasp, and in doing so takes another swipe at the witch hunter.

Oh, he knows quite a bit. And a lot of it, he'd best not worry about right now.

Azytzeen will once again side step the creatures strike letting using his plate armor to great effect, allowing the creature to, in its attack step past him. Half-swording his blade he would bear it around and use the cross guard as a conventional hammer. Certainly not the most graceful way of attacking the critter from behind, but then again killin' isn't a too graceful of a profession.

😄

The Reaver staggers into the feint almost blindly, and eats the full brunt of the hammer blow. It crumples to the floor, but prior knowledge suggests it may not be defeated so easily. Still, it's down; that gives the party a chance to focus on the other abominations attacking the party.
