Kid versus Rin

Recommended Posts

In a forest just outside the Todo Academy, a brown eyed young man with spiky blond hair parted at the middle who wore a blue muscle shirt, black pants and brown work shoes lurked. He held a long sword in his right hand. As he looked around, he could see sunlight playing through the trees, and all around him he could hear the sound of animals playing in the underbrush, as well as bird wings fluttering. Having no clue who he happened to be up against next, he could only stand and wait patiently for him or her to show so he could battle them, for this man, Soichiro "Kid" Nagi, lived for the thrill of battle. Performing several practice strikes with his sword, he started limbering up, doing five one arm push ups per arm. After that, he got up, feeling endorphins rush to his brain. He smiled, putting a pair of fangs on display. His eyes turned red and started to glow in the dark as night fell. He dashed forward, running up the side of a tree.

Rin said nothing as she watched the man run up the tree. Tilting her head, the half breed wasn't sure why the man was doing it but as she leaned against her oar with such curiousity. Then again humes (humans) were interesting indeed.

The half breed watched still as she wanted to say something but she enjoyed watching in curiosity more. However, she shook her head as the black yellow curls hit her shoulders.

She sighed softly after an hour or two as she spoke to almost no one yet enough anyone could hear her.

You alright there? I never saw anyone climb trees before and it puzzles me.

Rin then smiled leaning more on her oar as she thought about if she would use her oar to hit the tree. See if it would fall. That made her laugh softly.

Kicking off the side of a tree, Kid performed a soaring backflip, spreading out his arms and legs to glide through the air under the cover of night until he positioned himself over a woman with an oar. Dropping quickly, he landed behind her in a huff on his right knee. As he peered through the darkness, his eyes started to glow with a crimson aura, not unlike two searing embers burning up the fog. Taking up his longsword with his right hand, he exploded forward in a fast sprint and pulled his left hand back, making a fist. Buoyed along by air from the atmosphere, he did so soundlessly. A muscle in his arm jumped and blue arcs of electricity crackled around his hand. Coming up behind the woman with the oar, he attempted to punch her in the lower spine and release high voltage electric chi into her body. Then, using the inside edge of his sword, he chopped at the woman's oar from right to left, attempting to cut it in half. After that, he went for a headbutt to the back of the head to body check, trying to slam Rin into the ground.

I forgot about this, my apologies

Rin tilted her head as she could hear the crackling sound yet couldn't see it. Someone was coming. She placed her hands to the ground, quickly rising up the pillar to block the incoming punch.

Her oar splintering as the casualties of battle. She sighed. Well she would have if the headbutt missed her and it didn't as she went spiraling to the ground. Rolling a bit she hit the tree with a thud.

Well, that was annoying. she muttered rubbing her head.

Rin then climbed to her feet and raised her hands as they glowed. A minute after, fire crystal arrows came from her fingers shooting at the man who attacked her.

Take that sir.

As Rin put her hands up, so did Kid.

In a minute's passing, Kid witnessed fire crystal arrows fire at him out of his adversary's fingers.

Aligning his fingertips with those of Rin's, Kid fired a salvo of bone bullets at the fire crystal arrows, attempting to knock them off course. Did those come out of her fingers? he wondered.

Two five feet long double edged blades made of sharpened bone came out of Kid's palms, disconnecting from the rest of his body's self replenishing bone content for him to hold. Then, a bone spike came out of his tailbone, drilling through the ground toward Rin. It popped up beneath her feet, attempting to ensnare her calves, starting with the left one. Holding his bone swords at quadriceps level, Kid dashed at Rin, attempting to impale her through the waist with his weapons.

Well, that didn't work at all. This kid was trying to impale her. Though she jumped back to avoid the bone drilling up towards her. It was here the sword went into her torso.

Standing there she blinked. Black blood dripped down her waist yet she didn't end up falling to the ground. She was more annoyed the blood was ruining her favorite shirt. It was here, she clicked her tongue, her hands on the kid's chest.

With a turn of her palm, she shot the ball of electricity straight at Kid. She didn't care if it hit as she ran at him with her fist hitting him in the lower jaw.

I won't die so easily. And your sword isn't going to stop me.

Kid, as he called himself, let go the bone swords he held after running them through the belly of his opponent, whose name he did not yet know. He tucked and rolled to his adversary's left, evading a ball of electricity thrown at him by his opponent. Then, he got up, using his left hand to parry a blow thrown at his jaw. Summoning his fire accessories, the ruby red iron Gauntlets of Vulcagni, he slashed at his opponent's left cheek using the crystal claws on his right hand.

Conclusion:

Kid had won the little fight with Rin. She seemed outmatched and thought it to be a bit of fun. She was a bit out of it, due to her injuries but she still stands nonethless.

that was fun kid. Let's play again sometime.

With that, she vanished. Gone.

The end.
