Phoebe 1739 Posted June 25, 2020 As the small ferry approached the Whispernight ravaged city of Testerossa, Addison ordered for the lights to be cut. "We're almost here," she indicated to the mother and son who were on board, as well as the crew of three Howardian Sailors tasked to operate their small ferry. In the distant fog, one could barely make out the few stumbling silhouettes of undead revenants moving along the coastline. Behind them, the wreckages of ships seemed to wail and groan, moving and drifting about on their own. "Hopefully we can find some treasure!" she exclaimed beneath her breath to Lance, before exchanging a glance with Kora. "I'm not going to let either of you get hurt. I promise." @kriistiinii @DaiPie 1 DaiPie reacted to this
DaiPie 44 Posted June 25, 2020 (edited) "We'll be alright, we promise you that!" Lance exclaimed as well, giving the Master Knight a sweet smile that spread across his face. He then turned his direction to the coast, looking at the unusual silhouettes with his purple and blue, star filled eyes. His expression seemed confused. "What are those things?" He thought inside of his head, trying to figure it out. He shrugged it off, hoping it wouldn't be anything threat of some sorts. He then looked over at his mother, noticing his height towering over hers but, didn't mind. He wrapped his arms around her, embracing her as he smiled again. @Phoebe @kriistiinii Edited June 25, 2020 by DaiPie 1 Phoebe reacted to this
kriistiinii 80 Posted June 26, 2020 "This place carries a very ominous atmosphere.." Kora would put a gloved hand over Lance's arm, squeezing it affectionately. The general was a sucker for chilling situations, finding that the suspense never failed to serve as a mere catalyst for her peaking intrigue. Eerie settings such as the one they currently waded through reminded her of old tales from her younger days. Stories in which local elders would tell to scare children away from the sketchier areas; Places that she now found herself treading through all too often than she would have preferred. As the faint silhouettes came into sight, Kora's eyes lingered on each of the moving shapes. "Do you know what lurks the lands around here?" She'd ask Addison. @Phoebe @DaiPie 1 Phoebe reacted to this
Phoebe 1739 Posted June 28, 2020 "Ghost ships, undead, survivors, and treasure!" Addison exclaimed, her eyes sparkling as she did a gestured with her hands. "I was hoping maybe we could find some cool things to bring home!" The small ferry navigated through the pieces of floating debris, keeping the lights dimmed out as they broke on through the fog. Upon docking at a small beach, Addison was the first off. She offered a hand to Kora as she helped the pair to descend from the ship. "Who know's what we'll find," she mused, all the while as the ominous atmosphere reflected the exact opposite of her positivity. Straight ahead, one could see a small flickering building in the distance. Somehow, there were lights. Albeit broken, but lights nonetheless. To their left, the coast continued on towards what appeared to be the wreckage of a seaside bazaar. To their right, the coast continued on towards what seemed to be the remains of a dockyard, with the remnants of broken ships floating around in the sea. "Where to?" @DaiPie @kriistiinii
DaiPie 44 Posted June 28, 2020 (edited) As they got off of the ship, Lance immediately noticed the building with the lights, making him already excited. "May we go there?" He asked them, pointing at the flickering with his finger. He wondered if there was anything special inside. Maybe treasure, like Addison said. "What happens when we find the treasure? Are we gonna give it to other people who need it or..?" He asked another question to them, still filled with excitement as he wanted to go there. @kriistiinii @Phoebe Edited July 27, 2020 by DaiPie
